Looking for advice on which units to choose. I am considering the Turbro and the Furrion Chill Cube. Can the Turbro units be used and keep the ducted system working? I see that Furrion has a special adaptor kit at and additional cost to adapt it to the ducted system. Any insights or suggestions are welcome. I also have a hydro hot system that is used for heat.

93 Monaco Dynasty spin-on power steering (small) hydraulic filter number?

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11596-93-monaco-dynasty-spin-on-power-steering-small-hydraulic-filter-number/?do=findComment&comment=127222

I recently bought a 1993 Monaco Dynasty with the 6C8.3L and Allison MD3060. The manual gives no information about the spin-on pressure filter in the power steering hydraulic system. This is a second filter in addition to the big black reservoir cannister filter on the very rear. This filter is mounted outside the rear frame on the driver's side, and as it's totally rusty I wonder if it's ever been replaced. I see a lot of forum posts about a similar filter in this location but they all refer to a physically larger filter, a WIX 51759 or equivalent. Those filters measure about 5" diameter and 7" long. Mine is more like 3.5" diameter and 5.5" long. Can anybody identify this thing and give me a part number so I can replace it with a new one?

2005 Whirlpool Residential Fridge

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11597-2005-whirlpool-residential-fridge/?do=findComment&comment=127223

We've owned our coach for six years and the side-by-side residential fridge has always reformed perfectly, last trip for 4 days was the week of April 13th and all was good. Got home and unloaded the usual stuff, emptied the fridge, etc.. Moved the coach from the RV lot where all power is turned off, and plugged into my 50A receptical, turned on the AC's then the fridge. Everything has been on for about 7 hours, I opened the fridge, the lights are all on and there is no cold at all. The switch on the fridge is ON, the lights are on, etc., but no cooling. I turned the breaker on and off, everything seems normal but no cold. Does anyone have any idea what to check next?

2005 Whirlpool Residential Fridge

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11597-2005-whirlpool-residential-fridge/?do=findComment&comment=127224

Would help to know the model number of your Whirlpool fridge so we can get more information to you.

93 Monaco Dynasty spin-on power steering (small) hydraulic filter number?

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11596-93-monaco-dynasty-spin-on-power-steering-small-hydraulic-filter-number/?do=findComment&comment=127225

Contact one of our members here who also owns a 93 Dynasty.

All support will be through dealers, so choose wisely. If you would like a recommendation, I can provide one - but he's in the Coco Beach, FL area.

As far as 240vac, you might want to look at the Victron Quattro series. I have no experience with the Quattro, but I do have very good experience with the Multiplus (granted in a marine environment).

I was considering upgrading our Magnum MS2812, but it is still working well. I just purchased a spare, factory remained unit (for a unbelievably good price) so I feel I'm ok staying with Magnum for now. I also recently installed a BMS and upgraded my AGS to AGS-N. All equipment is playing nicely with my 1200ah's of LifePo4 house batteries.

FYI, This weekend I will add an additional 100amp 12vdc charger wired to my engine heater outlet to cut my generator run time down. This was a recommendation by another member of this forum. I wasn't sure it would work with the MS2812, but according to a few users - the two chargers work together without any issues.

2005 Whirlpool Residential Fridge

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11597-2005-whirlpool-residential-fridge/?do=findComment&comment=127227

The Serial number is GC5THGXLB01

2005 Whirlpool Residential Fridge

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11597-2005-whirlpool-residential-fridge/?do=findComment&comment=127228

I helped a friend with about that vintage Whirlpool. Using the internet I did a bunch of searches and one common problem is the start capacitor. Fairly cheap and readily available so my friend went and bought one and I installed, did not fix the problem

The next common failure is the circuit board, more expensive then the other component but he ordered from Amazon in case it didn't fix the problem. Only catch was that there was a pretty elaborate installation process to set it up. I sent him a video on how to do it and he installed the circuit board and followed the instruction and it worked. From memory the board was ~$150.

So do some searches and see if you can pin point the problem.

2005 Whirlpool Residential Fridge

https://www.monacoers.org/topic/11597-2005-whirlpool-residential-fridge/?do=findComment&comment=127229

Check the following:

Some modification to their kit is undoubtedly required. NOT plug n play!

This is where an enterprising 3D maker could put together plug n play adapters, or at least sell the one that worked for him. Yeah, Monacos are snowflakes, but I wonder how many different ways they ran the roof ducting? And then there's other OEMs . . .

If the cable is bad the best way to replace it is through the duct work.

The cable ends are flipped from end to end, attached is a description right out of my manual. Get the correct ends and tool to install the ends.
