  1. All the relays work. It no brake lights. I have looked and looked for a brake switch but so far no luck. From the brake peddle a chrome rod goes into a rubber cap from there the rod (I am guessing) goes into a large fist size steel apparatus) that is bolted onto the exterior of the fire wall over the generator. From here I will have to do more research…. But if anyone has experience with this issue let me know. Thanks. denny
  2. … a 2011 Camelot DFT 43. I looked at the brake mechism and see what you maybe referring to. I have the serial and part numbers and will be calling REV about it soon. I will be going to the REV in Coburg OR 347 miles away to have a new slide pump installed. I will use the 4 way flashers to alert those behind me when slow or stop. I have called three RV dealers and one truck mechanic 50 miles away who say at first oh yeah bring it in we can fix that. Then when I get into what has been done so far by a certified Mobil tech they back track. Then they either say we don’t do chasis work, or take it back to the factory etc. etc. It’s beyond what I myself can do. I snuggled my under the dash well to a point as far as I could go and as I said got the serial information, and it seems to be working like it always has. When I took it out of the garage to connect the Hummer to it the brakes work. I can’t see it well because of all the dash wiring so I couldn’t see a point of connection to activate the brake lights. I have a CD on the electrical wiring throughout the coach or at least I had one. I know where it was but after a quick search yesterday it wasn’t there. So this morning I will look for it again. thank you for all the comments. I greatly appreciate the, all. Denny
  3. After several hours of TRYING to get running lights, turn signals, tail lights and brake lights on my toad AND BRAKES LIGHTS on my 2011 Called DFT 43 I called a RV mobile tech in my town. He was able to get the running lights, turn signals and BRAKE lights going on the Toad (2007 H3 Hummer) lights. The Motor Home Brake lights do not will not come on no matter if its connected or not connected to the toad. This after checking every fuse and relay in the front bay as well as the fuses in the house and making sure that the connection with 7 wires from the MH going into 4 wires in the toad He called REV/Monaco and spent about 20 minutes on the phone checking out the different possibilities to no avail. I believe that he is well qualified. During this time my friend who is an aircraft mechanic as well as a commercial pilot flying for a well known airlines AND that does all work on his Prevost they both said time for REV they decided that they were both stumped. Although my pilot friend who has the space next to mine in the garage said that he believes that there is a fuse that was missed some place. I sure would appreciated any thoughts on this subject. Thanks, Denny Wagaman,
  4. I was asked by a salesman If I was a MacGyver type of guy when I was looking at a 2002 Prevost. I said yes but then I said no that isn't true. He said well if you are not I wouldn't buy this age of Prevost or motor home unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money having someone else that is qualified to do the work. I immediately thought of the company that I use which I believe can fix anything and their hourly charge is I (think) $179/hour. Then because they are so busy having to wait to get an appointment, then driving 350 miles to get there and 350 miles to return home. But what if the repair was serious enough not to be able to drive it that far. Oh well. Denny Wagaman 2011 Monaco Camelot DFT 43
  5. Elite RV in Harrisburg Oregon removed my cracked plastic original tank and replaced it with this one. Easier to see the coolant level. They did an excellent job. Denny Wagaman 2011 Monaco Camelot DFT 43
  6. Free! I have the above that I used in another MH. I don't have the harness. Silver Leaf Electronics Albany Or 888-741-0259 will build one or give you the parts to build your own harness. It has been connected since about 2010. If you are interested call me at 509-520-8514. I live in SE Washington zip 99362. You can pay for shipping and probably boxing it up as it shouldn't be tossed around so it needs special handling. Also included is the owner's manual version 1.0. Thanks, Denny Wagaman
  7. Update on the full wall slide that stops when going out or coming in sometimes only once then other instances six times. After discussions with several Lippert Techs and each urging me to have REV in Coburg Oregon diagnose the issue and at the same time work with Lippert Techs (I have a case #) . The Techs do not believe that it is the pump because one small galley slide works. There was discussion that it could be an air bubble but the pump is supposed to have a self governing air release (my words not the techs) but after the number of times the slide has be worked in and out that shouldn't be the issue. The pump that is or was in question was installed in May 2020. At the same time there was one hydraulic line that runs to the rear of the full wall slide replaced at the same time. Thanks to Tom Cherry for detailed instructions schematics on what to check. I admit it is way over my head to do and when friends that are educated and knowledgeable from airline mechanic as well as a large commercial construction company and the time that they have spent so far I have decided that enough is enough. So To REV I will go another 700 mile round trip and hope that they can find and fix the problem. Over the last many years of 4 motorhomes, 2 trailers and 1 pop up VW van I have learned that if you throw enough parts to a problem the issue will get fixed as long as one is willing to keep writing checks. There are many RV repairman that claim they can fix anything that may be true. But i have learned that there are many RV repairmen that talk a good story. Initially I went to REV and they always did well with warranty issues as well as other things that I wanted done. So I have high hopes. Thank you Tom and all others who gave their time in order to diagnose what this problem is. It is greatly appreciated! Denny
  8. MODERATOR EDIT The following was a new topic for an ongoing issue. It has been merged with the original. OP has been contacted and advised that duplicates are not permitted. In addition to making a list of the questions and additional information requested. Post that and some pictures of the Pump Assembly....would be helpful. From a response standpoint...It would be helpful to wait until the OP has posted the additional information, as well as the summary of "We need to know this.." Otherwise, this is just a repetious tail chasing exercise. Thanks in advance. @Denny Wagaman, Please review the past comments and take a few notes of what has been requested and then respond so that members have a more complete understanding...such as .. STOPPED? Did the motor shut off or quit pumping and the slide control button was released? How long do you wait between the cycles? Is the motor hot. It is also suggested that you review the connection and cabling recommendations and perform those simple tasks and see if that improves it or has no impact on the pump. Thanks, END OF EDIT Last week I posted about my pump for a full wall slide and a front slide...that I was told that the pump needs to be replaced by a company that I have worked with for years. Lippert Tech support and others said as long as the pump is working the problem is not the pump. I also said that a hydraulic line to the full wall slide had been replaced and that the workmen worked the slide in and out until the pump became hot. Then I drove 340 miles home put the motor home away (heated garage) and the next day the slide would go out, stop and I would have to depress the button again to get the slide working. The far or rear of the slide would last not evenly like it did before the line was replaced. Anyway I am wondering if the hydraulic line wasn't bled enough and there still is air in the line making the full wall slide slide work but stop then press the button again and it continues. The full wall slide continues to do pretty much the same thing now it goes out in one shot but bringing it back in it takes 3 button presses to get it all in. Any more thoughts? Secondly I cleaned the three steel slides that are under the floor exterior of the full wall slide that runs in and out and into and out of a steel sleeve. I have second thoughts today of what I did yesterday because I removed the grease seemed to be baked on. It took me several hours to scrape the sometimes crusted grease off. Now what do I do? what grease do I put on those three steel bars? Spraying silicone on the bars isn't the answer. Third - what is the correct way to bleed the new line that was installed in March? thanks, Denny Wagaman 2011 Monaco Camelot DFT 43
  9. My Lipperet Hydraulic system failed. Initially I was told that just the pump could be ordered. Later was told that the complete Lippert manifold had to be purchased instead. This system was installed in March of 2019 and the warranty has run out. Because of COVID The coach has not been used very much since that time. In March of this year one of the Hydraulic hoses started leaking at the manifold and so the hose was replaced and at that time The fellows at Elite worked the slides in and out half a dozen times. I drove directly home (340 miles) into my garage. The next morning tried to put the slides out individually and the front curbside slide stopped. I pushed the button again and the slide went in. The same thing happened with the full wall slide. I called Elite and was told it sounded like the pump was the issue. Because I had other things going on plus Elite's schedule was full plus both my wife and I had COVID I wasn't able to get the coach into Elite until this last Monday. Naturally the Warranty ran out about 5-6 months ago. Question: Does anyone know of someone in the NW that can just repair the actual pump? Elite doesn't know of anyone that does the work. I was told that there wasn't a bushing put in place and when the pump works what is supposed to be a round hole becomes oblong which creates the issue of the slide stopping. Excuse me for not getting the correct definitions. Elite RV in Harrisburg OR has always done anything that needs to done to my motor home. The manifold has to be made maybe two or three weeks. Any thoughts suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Denny Wagaman 2011 Camelot DFT 43 full wall slide
  10. I Directv in my house 7 TV's 3 remotes. I have 4 TV's 2 receivers in the MH. I will probably stay with Directv Been with them since 2000. Not happy with them but that's another story. This is our 4th and maybe my last MH. We don't need in-motion as I have said before. We usually have all of our inside TV's on although two now are mirrored I am changing to have 3 to be available for different programs. We have always had Satellite TV. used to have East Coast/West coast but I lost that after 16-17 years. I would pay a lot to have that back but I don't think that will ever happen. As I said before my traveler is from my 2005 Beaver transferred to my 2011 which I still have. I was told that the parts are wearing out. my only problem is getting my local stations from about 300 miles away. they wash out.. in the wind. But generally my All others like Fox news, Fox business CNN all those types are available. It take me about 30-45 minutes to get a refresh when we travel from one location to another. But going through that refresh so far has been impossible for me to do on line so I call and try to get someone that knows what they are doing. I was also told that China owns Winegard which is apparently false. If it proves to be accurate then I will change to another make. Having our access to texts and emails isn't a problem normally. I guess my question comes down to if I change from Winegard who has the best track record of access to satellite, refresh, available parts and no fuss. Thanks, Denny

  12. Thanks every for your input. I replied earlier but have lost it. We are on the Oregon coast. Out traveler is from my 2005 Beaver. I was told that Winegard was now owned by a company in China, which if true don’t want that. Said parts were plastic and if something went bad had to remove the whole satellite and send out to be repaired. I Agree with Tom Cherry…..so much of what has been said is way over my head with this additional comment “ more so than Tom”. When driving my wife reads and I, listen to Sirius. when setting we have our programs, but During the daytime mostly Fox business from 6A to noon or 1 then Fox News. At night we watch the tree major news programs then Jeopardy and then reading books. Of course follow BB and Football closely. SO we are simple TV’ers. again thanks for all your valued comments denny
  13. It’s time to replace my Satellite. Winegard traveler or KVH or? appreciate your comments
