  1. Now get yourself some 303 Protectant and spray those lenses 3-4 times a year and they will stay that way. https://tinyurl.com/nhjerfx8
  2. This confirms what I had suggested earlier in that the original owner must have made a custom change to the coach when it was built requesting no door in that location.
  3. Just to add on to this "Check Your Base-plate" before travel thread of my recent discovery. I had towed my 2006 Saturn Vue for the past 15 years. I recently switched vehicles back in early March to another 2006 Saturn Vue in much better condition that was already setup for towing with a Blue-Ox Base-plate. I checked the 6-way connector, it all worked correctly. I moved the RVIBrake Charge device over to the new car along with the RVIBrake seat brace for the brake unit to rest against. I also installed my dash, 30 amp, bypass switch to the lower left dash area. Well, after closing up the house yesterday, then moving the coach out onto the access road to hook up the car. I got everything out to start connecting the car to the coach. I get my set of Blue-Ox pins out then sprayed some T9 Boseshield onto the pin and receiver and placed it into the receiver to lock it in place. Well, WTF!!! The pin was not locking into position. It would simply rotate around and around. Holy CRAP!!! Well, as it turns out, I had no idea that Blue-Ox would make different types of pins for their base-plates. My old base-plate had used "short-short" pins whereas this base-plate uses "short-long" pins. I made a quick call to the Hitching Post in Ocala to see if they could help me. It was 3 pm by then and they closed at 5 pm so I had to get on the road NOW! I had my wife drive the car while following me in the coach. We got there at 4:45 pm. They had the pins that I needed so $106 dollars later and an extra 85 miles of unnecessary travel plus diesel and we were back on the road to New Hampshire for the summer. There isn't anything noticeably different between the two vehicles except that my old one was FWD and this new one is AWD. The front ends of each car looked exactly the same. BTW, when I installed the new pins, each one was "leaning" to the passenger side of the car versus having the slot for the tow bar connector ideally straight up and down. Obviously, the fabricator at Blue-Ox must have had a few too many beverages for lunch before welding the pin receivers to the base-plate. Luckily, the tow bar connectors do compensate for their manufacturing error. All is well!
  4. Your control pad has power so it appears that the Aladdin System is powered up. Your screen is what has been affected. Check the cables at the rear of the screen to make sure they are all seated firmly. Others may have additional ideas.
  5. I have this Remco AquaJet 55 ARV 5.3 gpm with an accumulator tank that has worked just fine for the past two years or more. I don't expect to have any problems in the future either.
  6. One of the very first things I do after rotating the Blue-Ox Tow Pins into the base plate to lock them in place is while holding the pin firmly, I rock it up and down then right and left to see if I have any unwanted movement in the baseplate. I also try to rotate the pin just to make sure it is lock into the correct position. So far, no problem with towing the 06 Black Saturn Vue the last 15 years. This past January I found a 2006 Red Saturn Vue for sale in Ft Meyers. It was already setup for towing with a Blue-Ox Baseplate and electrical setup for the lights. Went to look at it in early March and purchased it. After returning home, I prepped the Black Saturn for sale with 20 photos of the car showing all of the paint problems plus a full honest description of its mechanical condition and what it needed mechanically. I had it sold within 3 days on Facebook Marketplace. Our impending trip to New Hampshire this coming Wednesday will be the first time towing this "new" car. I don't expect to have any problems. These cars tow really easy. The only difference between our old one and this new one is the drive system. Our old one was FWD whereas the new one is AWD. The manual doesn't state to do anything different between the two different drive systems other than to lubricate the transmission using a very specific method, then you are good to tow all day. Next day, repeat the same transmission lubrication process.
  7. In preparation for leaving Florida this Wednesday to travel to New Hampshire for our Workamping job this summer, I power washed the roof, then removed all three AC covers to clean the coils along with the everything else in there. All of the screws holding the covers were rusted so threw those away and went to ACE Hardware to purchased all new stainless steel hardware. I sprayed all of the coils with a can of coil cleaner purchased from Amazon. Scrubbed the coils a little then let the foam do its job. 10 minutes later I washed everything down with the pressure washer. Reinstalled the AC covers so now the AC's are good to go for the summer. The two AC's up front are the older Penguin AC/HP units with drain cups however, the rear AC had been replaced with a new Penguin II AC/HP model but they chintz out and did NOT install a set of drain cups and extra gasket. Therefore, the AC condensate runs out onto and down the sides. What a PITA! They did keep the new control board for the new AC which I have in my spare parts cabinet. Someday when the two AC's up front bite the dust I will switch everything over to the same updated control boards and purchase the Micro-Air Thermostat to control the AC's. Hope everyone has a good summer!
  8. We all know exactly where all of the fuel tax money goes. How do you think people with average pay jobs get so rich!
  9. 1. The Inverter uses the house battery bank to produce 120 VAC. When charging, it depends on your charging system. It should charge the house batteries first until Float SOC then charge the engine batteries to keep them fully charged. 2. House 3. No, you can turn off the Inverter which will no longer provide 120 VAC when disconnected from shore or generator power but there still may be some parasitic discharge from the Inverter.
  10. Won't know until you try. Have two people, one inside turning the steering wheel and one outside watching the tire and the wall.
  11. Based on you having a 2009 Sig, I would say that your RV Park Pedestal has lost its ground connection to your combination Surge Guard/Transfer Switch and it has faulted not allowing 120 VAC power into your coach. Have the park correct the pedestal ground problem and you should be OK. Or possibly your power cord ground pin connection is causing the loss of a good ground.
  12. I am still confused about what the "lower back plate" still is. I will have to look at my Sharp Microwave today to try and understand what you are referring to. I do know that having done this on a few Monaco coaches I have never had to remove ANY lower back plate to access those metal screws, only the grease screens. Glad you were able to accomplish the task!
  13. Hi Joe, Not sure what you meant by the lower plate. You need to reinstall the two long diagonal bolts, not tight just hand snugged. Look for two sheet metal screws, one on each side. They should be visible up through the openings where the grease screens were located and the same access to the long bolts. They will be Robertson Head screws which you need a square driver to remove. Once those two screws are removed, then lay a heavy furniture protective cover on the counter under the microwave. Now remove the two long bolts, one at a time. You need two people, one holding the microwave up against the back wall while the second person is removing the bolts. Then slowly lower the front of the microwave down to the counter. You should have already unplugged the power cord from the outlet. Once there, now is the time to lift the rear end of the microwave off of the back plate ledge which it has been resting on down to the counter. To install, reverse the process.
  14. I agree, it sure sounds like the shoes have rusted to the drums. You need to free them up first then try again.
  15. I thought the ABS has its own diagnostic board with a button on it for retrieving the codes. It takes two people, one pushing the button when needed and the other reading the number of flashes from the ABS. There should be instructions in your Manual or ABS Manual on how to retrieve codes for ABS. AFAIK there are no codes for ATC. When using the ATC switch it temporarily locks the rear drive wheels together to hopefully get you out of a soft hole. It worked for me on my Windsor when I got it stuck in the rear alleyway which had a very soft sandy area.
  16. Depends on the type of device you are using. As Frank stated, a lot easier to find on a laptop or PC versus a mobile device. I use my phone MOSTLY as a phone and some very important apps. All other computer work gets done on my laptop.
  17. Flush sliding dead bolt lock
  18. My guess is the person who placed the order from the factory chose not to have a sliding bedroom door as the brochure shows one in the floor-plan. I would simply use a sliding pin on the end of the door near the floor that would enter the wooden track mounted to the floor which provides a guide for the door bottom.
  19. What is the name if your specific floor-plan of your 07 Dynasty?
  20. Lots of places listed in the Monacoers Parts List which if you haven't downloaded it to your PC I would highly suggest you do that for the future. One place in particular where I have gotten wiper parts is Rome Truck Parts. http://rometruckparts.com/
  21. I have no idea why images are posted in the .HEIC format but it makes it almost impossible to view them without jumping through hoops to get them to display properly. Would @Scotty Hutto please explain this to us members who are accustomed to having photos displayed in the "normal" format? Here is a link to the 10 most common digital photo file formats and the .HEIC doesn't make the top ten list. https://blog.hubspot.com/insiders/different-types-of-image-files
  22. The "Service Center" is most likely your wet bay where you dump your tanks amongst other functions, outside shower, etc.
  23. Elite RV in Harrisburg Oregon. You won't be disappointed. https://eliternr.com/
  24. I have been advising people for years to always run high amp drawing devices only with shore or generator power, never with Inverter power, whether it is MSW or PSW. The best way to destroy those devices including your Inverter and House Battery Bank is not to heed my warning. It only takes a few seconds to fire up the generator and a few more to have the transfer switch over to generator power. However it can be very costly to constantly use the House Battery Bank and Inverter to power high amp drawing devices. There will be those that disagree so bottom-line, its entirely up to you as it's your coach, your money, your choice.
  25. Tap into the wires on the rear of the outside keypad to use the lock/unlock functions. Hook a switch up to them to activate the lock and unlock functions.
