  1. Dr4Film's post in Clearance light relay 8K5 on 2004 Monaco Dynasty Diamond 4 was marked as the answer
I would check in your Front Run Bay first before looking any other place. Bay door directly under the drivers window.
Lots of electrical components in there and many relays.

I was wondering what you meant by "certain positions". Now I understand.
With those symptoms I would suspect the clockspring to be suspect.

A surge protector is NOT the same as an EMS system whether it be a portable or hardwired unit. A surge protector will NOT protect a coach from errant power conditions whereas an EMS system would severe power in a nanosecond if any power condition was out of spec such as losing a neutral lug.

On my 2002 Windsor, the programming button was tucked up under and into the center dash area just to the right of the accelerator pedal.
If you can't find it whatsoever, then you could jumper in a second programming momentary switch at the wiring harness stuffed into the passenger side armrest under the cup.
It has to connect to two terminals, the yellow and black.

  6. Dr4Film's post in Interior roller shades need adjustment was marked as the answer
I installed a MCD single white opaque full windshield shade on my Windsor back in 2009. It had four wires coming out of the left end. Two were for the 12 VDC power and ground and the other two were for attaching to a switch for programming the limits. There may have been another one for the ignition but I don't remember. If there was I chose not to hook that one up as we had used that shade while driving and when parked at night.
I believe the single brown wire is for the ignition lockout circuit.
Do you have the MCD file for programming the shades? If not it is available on their web site.

I also bought mine at Lowes or Home Depot. As Ray stated, not exactly the same but worked. They were FAR better built and less likely to break again.

A strong magnet will reset the black box. HOWEVER you will do this at YOUR own risk, not mine.
Try to find out WHY the black box triggered initially.
Did the box get wet possibly when you washed the coach?
  9. Dr4Film's post in 02 Windsor Slide Won’t Close! Help! was marked as the answer
You may have had the rail jump a cog wheel tooth, and that may have been the sound you heard. If so then you will have to jack up the rear end of the slide high enough to lift the rail off of the cog wheel, then pry the slide out the half inch you are missing on that end.

Should only have one. Download the sales brochure and it will list it in the specs at the rear of the brochure.

I agree! Macerators have never been top on my list to have. Plus, I have always preferred the "whoosh" factor in dumping my tanks. Luckily, the macerator on my Dynasty had been removed before we purchased it last year. I do own a portable macerator which I have never used to this day. BUT I have it just in case I am in that one specific location where I would need to pump the crap uphill for whatever reason.
  12. Dr4Film's post in Air Intake Hose? was marked as the answer
This had been discussed previously on this forum. In fact I made a post to a thread pointing to exactly what I purchased when I replaced the air intake hose on my Windsor.
You are using the wrong search term.
You should use 7 inch ID RFH Hose.
Here is a supplier that sells it in one foot increments. Order exactly what you need.

  13. Dr4Film's post in Headlight replacement ID or Code was marked as the answer
The headlamp should have a DOT code on it someplace. Google that number to find out what vehicle they were used on. Then order them from a reliable vendor on the Internet
  14. Dr4Film's post in Alternate source for norcold 1200LRIM control board was marked as the answer
I would look for a Dinosaur Control Board. They are built better than the OEM ones.
  15. Dr4Film's post in Aquahot question was marked as the answer
Sounds like one or both of the control thermostats have failed along with both HIGH Limit Thermostats have failed too.
The control thermostats, one for the diesel and one for the electric assist are to maintain proper boiler fluid temperature. Then the HIGH Limit thermostats are there to prevent either of the two heating systems from overheating the boiler fluid.
  16. Dr4Film's post in Water Pump leaking at outlet - Can it be repaired? was marked as the answer
That fitting on the end is replaceable. Simply slide the locking mechanism to remove and install a new one or maybe it just needs a new O-ring to give it a better seal.

Did you check the circuit breakers on your Inverter/Charger too?
  18. Dr4Film's post in Power Steering/Hydraulic Reservoir Filters was marked as the answer
The hydraulic filters that I had purchased for my previous Windsor were Nelson 84101B. Three stacked on top of each other.

Remove the glass lens by rotating it counterclockwise to expose the bulb and recessed fixture.
Posting a photo of your specific light fixture would be helpful.

My coolant surge tank on my 06 Dynasty is fully accessible which can be filled with a small plastic bottle. Are you saying that your coolant cap is not accessible?
