  1. Myron/Capt Mike, Thanks that info will be helpful, I will be mindful when removing the screws. I will be working on this project later this fall once winterized and back in storage. Once top rail is removed I'm assuming the door is just sitting on an upper and lower pin with what looks like nylon/plastic bushings/spacers? I'm guessing its probably a would be a good idea to replace those bushings/spacers. For reassembly is there anything I should be aware of? What if any alignment might be necessary and is that accomplished by spacer/bushings? If I find any info on the rubber gasket I will post it. Tom, That's exactly what happened to us a couple of weeks ago. Any issues with re-installation?
  2. Hi All, Need help with how to remove the shower door on a 2008 Knight 40 SKQ. This is a corner shower configuration and the door had two towel bars in the door. By accident my elbow hit one of the towel bars causing the tempered glass door to shatter. I have temporarily cobbled in a thin sheet of plexiglas, so we could continue our trip and use the shower. Has anyone removed the door and replaced the glass in the door, if so how does the door come out? I was thinking once I get the door removed to replace it with a 1/4" plexiglas or lexan (anyone have any thoughts/suggestions) or should I just take the door assembly to a shower door company and replace it with another piece of tempered glass? Thanks in advance.
  3. Frank, Currently I have no issues. I was only inquiring about what is available and any recommendations from the forum. I guess I like to be prepared and be able to get DTC's and if necessary have the option to do a stationary regen, I like being prepared. The NexLink NL 102 Plus apparently does read DTC and can do a stationary/forced regen for vehicles 2010 and newer for about ~$200. I was looking for a scan tool that has the above mentioned capabilities but for 2008 and newer vehicles and whether anyone on the forum has any experience with any scan tools. Regards, Greg Hi Gary, Thanks for the reply. Do you have a contact number for NexLink and any further info on the one that is in the $400+ range, I was having trouble finding any info on the higher priced unit or any customer service/tech number? Regards, Greg
  4. DavidL, You are right on OBDII. I have the 9 pin J1939 connector. Will ScanGauge or Bluefire be capable of doing a forced regen? Have you used either one to do a Forced regen?
  5. Not sure if this is the right spot for this discussion. I'm looking for an OBD2 diagnostic scan tool that will allow me to read DTC codes and also do a forced DPF regeneration on a 2008 Cummins 8.3L ISC. Has anyone purchased one that they can recommend, that is reasonably priced. I have seen NexLink NL 102 Plus, it will read DTC's but only do a forced regen on 2010 up. Thanks in advance. 6. We have a 2008 Monaco Knight 40 SKQ. Our coach came with the optional queen sleep number bed. We are considering adding an adjustable bed, and have been looking at the Axle Bloom products. My question is has anyone added the Axle Bloom adjustable bed frame and mattress, or any other adjustable bed(s)? Does anyone know how much additional weight the slide can carry? Info I got from Axle Bloom, the bed frame weighs about 120lbs and mattress about 80lbs. Thanks, Greg
