  1. Sure is fun getting out of storage. No power to front duotherm (4 button). Rear has power and works. When the manual says if no power check 1 amp fuse in distribution panel that would be the panel in the bedroom and the fuse (which is good) marked F AC, R and C AC yes? Connects to a blue and white wire. Where does the data cable come from? I see a piece of data cable and a connector under the range in the midst of that wiring harness. Have a big wiring diagram book but have yet to find the data lines. Greg t, 2000 Dynasty
  2. Thanks, all is working as it should - dash lights, wait start, low air etc. Just no ignition from front ignition switch with selector switch at back physically on front. Circuit diagram I have (attached) only shows 2 solenoids- ACC and IGN. Next, I'll start looking at layout since I've had this thing long enough to know what's in the book may or may not be what I have. Then check connections, probe voltages etc. But now I'll be able to do so knowing more than I did before. Greg t, 2000 Dynasty
  3. Have a 2000 Dynasty not starting from ignition switch with front/rear switch definitely physically in the front position. Fires right up from rear switch with front/rear in rear position. Just want to be sure I have an understanding of circuitry before I go poking around. There is only one starting solenoid -yes? So if it starts with rear that is not the problem but it's somewhere from the switch on? Out of curiosity where is the ignition solenoid, rear run? And what is TS1 in the front run Bay I see on circuit diagram. Greg t, 2000 Dynasty
  4. Thanks, getting a test is a good idea. Made me remember I have a sampling pump I got when I was dealing with a coolant issue. Greg t. 2000 Dynasty In the next adventure in coach maintenance I go to get a kit and find my coolant sampling pump won't do. Makes sense if I'd thought about it.. Greg t 2000 Dynasty
  5. So here I am coming up on 4 plus a bit years on my Transynd. What between Covid, getting older and other things haven't been driving the coach much and that doesn't look to change in the near future (especially the getting older thing). Anyway, the Transynd should be changed based on age if certainly not miles - yes? But the shop I scheduled with also suggested a flush. I seem to recall having read in automotive applications transmission flushes aren't necessarily a good thing. Does the same apply to diesel pushers? Can't remember if my signature block is inserted or not so may be a duplicate .. thanks Greg t 2000 Dynasty
  6. Me too, I wouldn't have an rvi brake without one. Too much to go wrong with the monitor system. 2 units command and tablet either of which can run out of battery or otherwise lose communication. And I've had the monitor mounting bracket loose suction on more than 1 occasion putting it on the floor until I or copilot can get to it.
  7. Had a roadmaster brakemaster (air system) that worked well for some years. Changed toad and thinking of changing coach so went with RVi3 and other than the goofy tablet monitor really like that. It will work without modifications in about any combination of coach/toad.
  8. Cummins Denver has always been good for us. ( Almost - rv tech was off on training once and things didn't got as well as we had become accustomed to. Ever since we've made sure he'd be there when coach went in.)
  9. Thanks to those who have posted / uploaded manuals. My manual from '97 is behind the times it seems for a 2000 coach. Greg t W5KJ 2000 Dynasty
  10. Good to hear. My manual its effective date is Nov 1 1997 and "When the charger is charging in the float mode....the Charge LED will not be lighted". Guess I could check which software version is installed but I'll do that if it occurs to me when I have nothing else to do. Panel is in the corner of the bedroom adjacent to a cupboard the door of which I leave open so when it goes through its periodic lighting up in the middle of the night we can't see e it. About the only time I look at it is when we're off grid, something isn't right or when I first hookup. None of which tends to involve float charging. I've probably seen it before but just didn't register. W5K Thanks! Greg t W5KJ 2000 Dynasty
  11. Noticed my charging LED was flashing quickly which I hadn't noticed before. No error LED, normal float charging message in the screen, battery full LED has steady light. According to the manual the charging LED will not be lit in float mode. Anyone seen this and/or know what it my mean? Thanks. Greg t W5KJ 2000 Dynasty
