Thanks gentlemen, the info Tom is great but I need to buy the camera. I'm getting worse in mobility so I'm going to leave that up to my tech. Nice guy let's meet buy parts if I can get cheaper etc. JIM, that's a great manual, it should help alot when I get to the replacement. It may even help the tech. You guys are a big help, thanks very much AGAIN. JOEL

I'm trying to found out for my tech, how many teeth are in the gear for my front roadside slide. I have two, Monaco Diplomat 07, paq. Sorry if a duplicate post but I don't know if anyone followed up on the original post. Moderator Edit. This topic was a duplicate. It has now been edited and combined with the original.

My slide gear is slipping on my front roadside slide 14 ft of my 2007 Monaco diplomat paq. I have had a number of calls into shops and they all don't seem to want to work on it cuz they come up with a reason not to keep the appointment. I had a tech out to my coach and he said it's too big a job to do on the road they need a forklift or other equipment. Any suggestions I'm in Southern California in Acton I'm getting stonewalled by everybody. Please advise

RV Towing insurance when in an accident
Joel Sheriff replied to JacobA's topic in General Motorhome Discussion
I add progressive many years ago and a mechanical tow. No no problem to a shop of my choice. Just, in April, had an accident. Geico towed from murietta to Redlands ca 49 miles. Driver very knowledgeable did everything right took over 2hrs start to finish. $1500 tow bill GEICO PAID IN FULL -
Thank you, I think... I'll definitely research more. It's operational I just wanted an option to have someone gain entry without the keys being left somewhere. I do not have the fob use for the bays they are just keyed locking not electronic. I'll be certain if I do continue to determine fit. Thanks again, Joel

I'm sorry for the loss of your fur family member. Grieve as you need to since they are so much a part of us as we get older. I've never felt as close to a pup as I do with my CeCe. A bishon shih tsu mic @ 12½ as we speak. I feel like I should go before her as I will miss her that much. We all feel your pain.... Always remember their smiles 😔😍

Thanks Jim, I'm not aware of the hidden damaged but the main fuse box was undamaged. The small box under the main was obliterated. The right back side of the bay where the battery minder was is crashed and yes the air bags on road side were destroyed as were some cross members coming into that area. Axel not obviously damaged but quoting 30k plus to repair. -

Thanks Rick but the air ride, arm of the suspension bent I back nto the wheel well locking tire in outward position necessitating a tow. It's at my choice of shop for repair and he's pretty honest. 20230426_142108.heic -

Thanks Ivan, not certain at this point in time. This particular coach had been a real pain for house and everything other than engine, drive train and genny. The big hitters. -

That's a big part of the decision process. It took a long time to make it my home. NOW? -
Gentleman and ladies especially Tom and Scotty, I'm in dilemma. I just rolled into a cement pole after thinking the brake was established. Long and short of it 30k damage and climbing. Owe 60k on balance. Do I ask geico for a totally destroyed figure. I've seen the book at 62 low book at 82k high and with extras 75k to 95k. With build sheet extras not my install extras I'm probably on the low side since I need 2 ac's, central floor work, slide floor work and body work but I must have 40k in Solar, AGM's 46" tv rsising out of custom cabinet matching original perfectly with storage and a built in dinette. New floor through out carpet in bedroom. Wilson extender, satellite Dome all led's Residential fridge new roof sea level, ags power cords water and electric and more Approx 40000 extras added within last 8 years. am only estimating don't have all bills. Do they take off all repair damaged in a total so with the 30 plus k and floor damage and other blemished body work as well as the 117000 miles be a major factor. I'm up in the air. Really want to continue but this coach had been a nightmare and this may be the best chance to get out. Please help as you all have during these past 16 years. Warm regards Joel
