  1. The motorhome MSRP was around $330,000 new and included over $30,000 of options. This motorhome has a 400HP 400ISL Cummins diesel engine (No DEF) with side radiator, Roadmaster raised rail chassis with tag axle, 10KW Onan diesel generator, Aladdin System, power patio and door awnings, slide-out room toppers, Aqua-Hot water heater, macerator black / gray water pump, washer dryer combo, 2 leather recliner chairs and foot rests with heat and massage, sofa that converts to queen size bed, 3 burner range, double sink, convection/microwave oven, roof top satellite dish, 50 Amp power cord reel, power water hose reel, pass-thru storage, 1 full length slide-out cargo tray, keyless entry, bay heater, 10K lb. hitch, automatic air leveling system, color 3 camera monitoring system (rear and sides), Magnum inverter, ceramic tile floors, all hardwood cabinets, solid surface counters, king sized bed, 3 ducted roof A/Cs with heat pumps and 2 Smart TVs. I am the 2nd Owner. Coach is in great condition with some minor body flaws and everything works as it should. It has 66,578 miles with new engine and turbocharger approximately 1500 miles ago by Cummins Services (nearly $40k). The motorhome has upgraded and larger TVs, upgraded sound system, residential refrigerator (approx 1.5 years ago), new front AC (approx. 1.5 years ago), LED inside lighting, 600 watts of solar panels, new mattress and topper, new batteries 1.5 years ago, Aqua-hot serviced approximately 3 months ago. Only thing needed is 2 front tires should be replaced due to age. Selling is because we are downsizing. Additional photos available by emailing bandmmorris@yahoo.com. Scammers don't waste my time.
  2. I took both of mine out and after buying replacement televisions and figuring out how I wanted to mount them I took some paneling and cut out pieces to fill the gap between the cabinet and television. I stained them to match the existing wood and put a few coats of varnish on them before installing. They came out really well.
  3. It is a sad day, but we will be downsizing and will be selling our 2007 Monaco Camelot 42PDQ. Any suggestions on the best sites to list the coach?

  5. I recently switched to Farmers and got a lower rate and more coverage. Haven't had a claim yet so can't comment on how they will be to work with.
  6. I had this problem a few years ago. It turned out that inside the cord reel there are 3 contactors, 1 for each hot leg and one for the ground. One of the hot legs had become corroded / burned and would not make contact thusly only one hot let. At first I could rotate the reel slightly and get contact. Ultimately that would not work. I took our the reel and make a new contact out of a piece of flat copper I bought at a hardware store. Once replace everything worked fine and still is working fine. It wasn't a big effort to remove the reel (through a panel in the closet) and replace the bad contactor.
  7. Since I have lithium batteries and solar panels it will work for boondocking for a time. Without these it still works for boondocking, but may have to start generator periodically to charge batteries. Frig does not pull much power, particularly if not too hot outside. I have the original inverter/charger.
  8. Neither of the outlets I had behind the frig had any power unless the generator was running or I was plugged into shore power. With the connection I made I have power all the time and have never had any problems.
  9. I recently switched to a residential frig. To have power to it all the time I ran a wire from an outlet on the opposite side of the bay under the frig that was hot all the time. It has been a year and have not had any problems.
  10. I do not have the adaptors. Because of this I prefer not to sell these pumps as I am not able to test them to assure they are good.
  11. The one you have appears to have screw on connections while the ones I have use quick disconnect style connections. You could use one of these, but would have to purchase the quick connect adapters to be able to connect to your hoses. Also, the ones I have are 2.9 gpm (Flojet model 03526144) and 5.7 gpm (Shurflo model 5900-0201). Let me know if you are still interested and I will get the shipping cost which will likely be less than $20.
  12. If you look at my early posts there are pictures and model numbers. Let me know if it will work for you.
  13. Thanks. How well did the insulation work. It appears much thinner than what I have which is around 1/2 inches thick. What insulation did you use.
  14. The boost had dropped to around 30 as the gasket deteriorated, but went back up to around 37 max after repair. I suspect the leak resulted in too much fuel for the boost I was getting throughout the power range.
  15. So far since the repair power is noticeably improved, excessive smoke is gone and mpg seems to have increased from around 5.5 to 8.0.
  16. I think I may have found my problem. The gasket between the exhaust manifold and turbo was leaking. It appears that when the new turbo was installed 2 of the 4 bolts were not tightened as the nuts had fallen off. Had a new gasket put in and no leak now. Will see what the effect is on the next leg of my trip.
  17. A lot of the insulation around my engine is coming loose or is simply in bad shape. Any suggestions on where I could purchase replacement insulation would be appreciated.
  18. Changed the air and fuel filters about 2,000 miles ago. Since I am in the south I doubt I got any winter blend fuel. My confusion is that when I had a cracked turbo and intercooler as well as a turbo hose leak I was getting better mileage than after I fixed everything.
  19. I seem to have lots of boost (up to 37) and power seems good. I have no codes. When I replaced the turbo the replacement turbo came with a new actuator. I found the issues as a result of decreasing boost and performance and an increase in black smoke during my last trip. I don't think I have any more boost leaks as the system was checked throughly during the repairs, but I will try to check again.
  20. I need the door just in front of the propane door and possibly the one in front of it, both passenger side doors. The one that I definitely need is the only one that is a solid color with no striping. I am checking some salvage yards and so far only 1 has responded and they want $1200 plus shipping for a door.
  21. I have had the coach for 12 years. Historically I have averaged around 7.5 mpg. After 2 tanks since all the work the average mpg has been a little under 5.5 mpg with no generator or aquahot usage. I have also noted somewhat more black smoke than I seen before, particularly when accelerating.
  22. I just replaced a cracked turbo and repaired air leaks in the intercooler and one of the hoses on a 2007 Monaco Camelot with a Cummins ISL400. After all these repairs (done at the same time) I now find that my fuel economy decreased by about 30% from when I had all these problems. I spoke with Cummins and they were no help. Any suggestions on problems to look for would be appreciated. By the way, the fuel filters and air filters were replaced.
