  1. I have 2 of them. I installed the Wax Valve and do not need them. Give me a call at 863 602 4685 if you are interested in them.
  2. I had my engine warning light come on (2003 Signature with ISX 525 CM 870) in Maine on my way home from Newfoundland to Florida late 2022. I also checked all fluids and temps, nothing out of line. I had it checked at Cummins Tampa, and it turned out to be the EGR Valve when it was hooked up to Insite. They changed it out, it lasted for 300 miles and failed. This time the Engine warning light came on and it also derated the engine. Of course it was about 4.30pm on a Friday so good luck on getting help. Fortunately, I was only 150 miles from home, so I was able to get a mechanic I know with Insite to come and troubleshoot the problem. I disconnected the EGR Valve Sensor and was able to continue the trip. The Engine warning light stayed on. Cummins changed it out under warranty, and it's been fine since. 13,000 miles ago. I now have Insite myself as I never want to be stuck on the side of the road again without at least, knowing what the cause of the problem is.
  3. I would agree with that based on the experience I have had with mine over the last 18 years.
  4. I have a 2003 Signature with the ISX 525 with 114,000 plus miles. The only engine issues I have had are 2 broken Exhaust Manifold bolts and an EGR Valve that failed. I have owned it since 2006 and have driven it 102,000 miles. According to the Cummins certified mechanic that helps me occasionally these engines will run many miles with very little problems. So far, he's right. We will be leaving in April for another 6-month trip of 9000 plus miles. The key to trouble free miles is staying on top of maintenance and not letting small problems develop into big ones.
  5. I am located in Central Florida (Lakeland Area) and use a Mobile Mechanic that is Cummins Certified and has experience on Motor Coaches. I would use him to inspect the chassis and power train if I was in the market for another coach after my experience with him working on my coach. you can give me a call at 863-602-4685 if you choose to use his services.
  6. I had a similar problem last fall. It was a leaking airline to one of the rear airbags. I agree it is probably a ride height valve but check the airbag air lines very carefully.
  7. Sounds like your drive motor or coupling is not good, I am not able to get at the information I have on mine until later today but I will have a look and see if there is anything there that will help you. I have only had trouble with setting limit switches Rob 2003 Signature
  8. problem solved, hard to believe I could miss a sheared air line to front drive axle airbag on the passenger side. Contractors sealing pavement with lots of equipment running in close proximity so did not hear it leaking. My wife is right, need hearing aids. Bad installation routing and shock absorber sheared it. Lesson learned, trace lines carefully before jumping to conclusions.
  9. Thanks Ray, I will check and see if I can find the box and check fuses
  10. I am pretty sure the issue is in the six pack. Right now am looking at easiest way to bypass six pack. Well aware of dangerous situation under coach and have jacks to prevent incidents. Coachnet is trying to find shop and tow if necessary.
  11. Does not air up in manual, any suggestions to bypass the six pack to get it driveable?
  12. Air Pressure good, no obvious leaks, driver side airs up ok, passenger side no no major air leaks, all air bags replaced 18 months ago, no obvious issues with ride height valves, thinking issue is with solenoid valves or valve. Anyone have a good photo or picture of the six pack showing which solenoid valve is which?
  13. Coach will not air up passenger side air bags front and back, back tires resting on chassis. In level mode about 1/2" clearance between chassis and tires but airbags not aired up. Any suggestions?
  14. I had a similar problem on my 03 Sig with the ISX 525. The fans would run wide open all the time. I disconnected the Sauer Danfoss controller and installed a Wax Valve. When I first connected the Hydraulic lines to the Wax Valve I had them reversed and the fans ran wide open, changed the lines and all was well. The hydraulic fans operate the way they should but kick on at a slightly higher temperature (about 2 degrees F) than before. I did talk to source engineering about adjusting the wax valve but they said more people ruin the wax valve trying to adjust it so for a couple of degrees I left it alone. Just as a matter of interest Cummins was no help on this issue as it was not provided by them on the original manufacture, it was a Monaco install. I still have the 2 electronic controllers if anyone needs one. The Wax valve, so far, has been very reliable.
