  1. That is exactly how our 2007 Nav operates, but I am confused, it does come on and off whenever the thermostat calls for heating in the front of the coach, at whatever speed you already selected. The vent in the very front of the coach only runs at one speed whenever the thermostat is calling for heat as well.
  2. Realize the switch can only change the speed of the fan when the thermostat is calling for heat from the AquaHot in Zone 1. You can force the heat on by picking a high setting say 80, then when the fan is actually blowing you can adjust the speed. Sorry if I misunderstood and you have already done this.
  3. The newer AH's only have one thermostat for the electric and the diesel, so when one comes on they both come on if both switches are on. Our AH has 2 electric elements and handles heat pretty well down to the low 40's, then I turn on the diesel. The heat from the engine does not require you to turn on the engine heat, it does it by itself. We personally almost never use the heat pumps as we don't like the noise and it is not even heat and provides no heat to the basement. Seems way superior to have the heat come out at floor level than at your head. JMO.
  4. We have had this same freezer in our bay since 2005. Can be set to be a frig or freezer, for us always a freezer. Runs on 12V DC, or 120V AC.
  5. The total replacements were available from Veruinks when I bought mine.
  6. We use Rotella dino oil and change it once a year, sometimes 8,000 miles and sometimes 13,000 miles. Sometimes add a little Lucas. So far so good at 186,000 miles.
  7. I think you will find the Splendide will go in the entry door just fine, not to say it won't be difficult. It is heavy and unwieldy, but we have done it several times. We have an ice maker in our residential frig, and we drink the water and use the ice and have been doing so for more than 14 years full time in this coach alone, we have the double filter that was installed in our coach and the frig has another filter for the water and ice, so far so good.
  8. We actually run 2 Garmin RV780's, and for the most part are pretty satisfied, but you always have to check on it. In fact just a couple days ago, after inputting the entire route they tried to take us on the Blue Ridge Parkway. As far as a previous post on the 770 with no detail, I don't know but it sounds like not going in close enough, the 780 has plenty of detail IMO. We do more than 10,000 miles year and stay at lots and lots of campgrounds, and 99.9% of them are in the database and in the right place.
  9. Gettysburg can keep you busy for quite awhile. The guided horseback tours are fantastic, allows you to get right on the battlefield and the guides are very knowledgable. We stayed at Gettysburg Campground, it was okay...
  10. After I knocked off both of our sensors for the second time, I just gave up. We are just very careful when we extend our patio awnings and never trusted the anemometers anyway, so we never leave them out if we are not right there.
  11. I prefer the TST system, but the most important thing is to get a TPMS.
  12. I had always used beads up til my last tire purchase, and was never completely satisfied. When I put new steers on a couple years ago at Josam's, I had Barry install Balance Masters at the steer and the tag. Then when I replace the drive and tag in a year or so I will have him install Balance Masters at the drive. So far even with beads still in my drive tires the ride is noticeably smoother.
  13. One other thing to check is the air intake underneath to be sure it is clear.
  14. I replaced our board on our Onan 10kw gen with a Flight Systems. Been very pleased, quick response from the company, got the board quickly, cheaper than OEM, and a better warranty.
  15. Yes, it has lifetime maps. And by the way we are pleased for the most part with our 780. A glitch now and then that won't allow us on some roads, but we just push through and it fixes itself. Very rare occurrence.
  16. Also Glendinning customer service is great. Call and ask them about it.
  17. Looks like it could be an indicator light for an M&G braking system.
  18. We replaced the hose and the reel, it was almost the same money and made the project easy.
  19. We got our replacement drag line from Henderson's and Barry installed it.
  20. Absolutely! Many of us have used them many times and the reports and my own experiences are very positive. Barry will take care of you and is very familiar with the Roadmaster chassis.
