  1. My Safari had compact size 110v washer and dryer that Monaco installed after purchase for the first owners. It was a top loader washer on the bottom and front loader dryer on the top. It already had an outside vent. The washer was failing so I replaced the washer with a electrolux front loader and a Samsung 220v front loader dryer. It was quite involved fabricating structure to secure the dryer and installing a subpanel to get the 220v to the dryer. The end result is great but realize the dryer only works with 50 amp or generator power. For your case the extra weight might be an issue. We had Splendide in a previous motorhome and rarely used it. It wook forever to wash and dry a small load. Since this is your first motorhome I would start out using laundrymats until you get your feet wet. Just my opinion.
  2. I also installed the 1800 watt true induction several years ago and used the insta-hot circuit with no issues. In my case the cooktop does not work on MSW inverter. I have never seen that as a real issue. Since the gas cooktop was the only propane appliance I rerouted the flex hose originally used for the cooktop to a quick connect in front of the rear wheel in conduit to use for my weber grill. I just removed the regulator from the weber and bought a flex hose.
  3. The control box is located in the big bay under a cover assuming my 2005 Monaco built Safari is like your Executive. The control box has relays that control the travel mode for each corner. You can pull the connectors and test each solenoid for continuity and use 12v jumpers to activate individually. The leds indicate which relays are activated. You can then determine the source of the problem. In my case the daughter relay board inside had multiple bad solder joints especially on the relay terminals. Once I re-flowed the solder my multiple problems were gone.
  4. That sensor has very little that can go wrong, just 2 pins that sense the difference in conductivity of water vs diesel fuel. When my WIF function stopped working on my RACOR it had a constant false WIF warning on dash. It turned out to my Racor molded circuit. Being cheap I built a single transistor switch circuit and bypassed the Racor circuit. I looked for the circuit schematic but it must be on an old laptop at home and I am in Cape Breton for the summer. The replacement module is available from Racor if you go that route.
  5. My 2005 HWH only maintains the level in auto mode. It is a series 2000. The level sensor can be adjusted. The controller is behind a cover in the main compartment. See https://www.hwhcorp.com/ml31043.pdf
  6. You can also replace the module in the dash and remotes with something like https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Keyless-Entry-Engine-Start-System-Key-Activated-Keyless-Access-Door-Entry/174409911942?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 like I did. Dennis T 2005 Panther
  7. I have had it with Centroid senders. Between the last two Monaco motorhomes I have gone through 4 centroid senders. The last time I one went bad I replaced with Wema KUS SSL sender. I ordered one 1/2" shorter than my tank bottom and replaced my gauge with a marine 240-30 ohm gauge. The dampening is not as good as the centoid and no low fuel warning but is exceptionally accurate without calibration issues.
  8. I too have the MCD tire covers with aging tracks. On mine the lower sections are cracking up but still functional. I purchased some flex-a rail from Sailrite but have not gotten around to installing yet. The fit is a little loose and will require heat bending and small flat head screws or industrial double sided tape but is the best I have come up to yet.
  9. I have repaired a couple of the magnum opus boards. Don't toss your old ones. PM me. Dennis Turner
