  1. That is exactly what I was trying to write Rick N. I hope I didn't confuse anyone with my thoughts. I do appreciate all responses from everyone. Richard
  2. Several have commented on the insta-hot electrical outlet under the sink. That outlet is on the GGI circuit fed from the inverter sub-panel. Richard
  3. I investigated my route for my new circuit for our induction cooktop. The existing refrigerator circuit to the main panel is run through the ceiling. I will disable that circuit and run from the main panel horizontally back to the bedroom TV cabinet, then down to the washer/dryer area, then horizontally forward to the kitchen slide out using the wire case along the floor, then route up along the countertop/cabinet to a new jbox containing a 20-amp combination switch/outlet under the sink along the cabinet wall. I will use 12/2 MC Lite cable to make the run from the main circuit panel to the combination switch/outlet. One question, can the MC Lite cable be used with screw type connections with the combination switch/outlet? Richard
  4. My plan is to investigate the non-used refrigerator outlet on the roadside of the kitchen, fed from the Main Distribution Panel in the bedroom. Hopefully it is a 12-2 romex like the print indicates. Pull it from under the Samsung into the storage bay, mount a jbox, then see where to go up into the slide out area on the curbside kitchen. Not sure how to solve the slideout movement for the romex. Any help would be appreciated. Rich
  5. The Norcold refrigerator is gone. Samsung is plugged into inverter outlet. Both main and sub-panels are located in the rear bedroom-curb side. Induction cooktop is on a kitchen slideout-curb side. Richard Cole
  6. Looking at my induction cooktop manual, power specifications is 1800 watts = 15 amps, serviced by 14- gauge wire, protected by 15-amp circuit breaker. I will investigate the behind the refrigerator heater circuit and use that source plus upgrade if needed. I'm hoping for 12-2 romex cable on a 20-amp circuit.
  7. We have a 2002 Windsor 40PST. Just replace our gas cooktop with a True two burner induction cooktop. Want to run a new separate electrical circuit from the inverter subpanel located in the bedroom to the kitchen. I would like to mount an outlet box with cutout switch under the cabinet near the front. How do I fish a new romex wire from the subpanel to the kitchen? What is the proper and safe way to wire the switch and outlet in the new box? Also, I do not have a wiring diagram for a Windsor 40PST. Thanks for your help. Richard Cole
  8. To make my 02 Windsor all-electric coach, I want to replace the gas cooktop with a True Induction double burner TI-2B counter insert cooktop. I noticed an enclosed area above the silverware drawer where the gas cooktop set in will have to be removed for ventilation and some countertop will have to be cut out and some countertop gap filled in. Appreciate any guidance to help me complete this upgrade. Rich
  9. Planning a trip next summer to explore Wisconsin. We will be coming out of the UP of Michigan and would like recommendations of where to visit and good campgrounds to stay. Thanks, Richard
  10. Thats alot to digest Tom. One thought I had, since my fronts (75R) are 16 ply, rated at 7,160 lbs each, they would cover the front axle weight. Could I use the same steer tire for the rear which is rated 6,610 lbs. each without causing any problems with wearing? Richard
  11. I wanted to update my post. Tom was right about axle weights. Took a picture of the placard behind the drivers seat. Front axle - 13,000 lbs. /Rear axle - 23,000 lbs. Top placard lists 295/80R22.5 for front and rear tires. The bottom placard lists 205/80R22.5 tires front and rear. My new front tires are 75R but the placard recommends 80R. It that OK? All drive tires I have found have a max load of 5,675 lbs. Will 75 lbs make a difference or should I find a different tire that will work with my new fronts. Thanks, Richard
  12. HI All, It is time to replace all four drive tires. The old tires are 295/75R22.5 Yokohama 104ZR. I was looking at the Hankook AL21 load range "G" tires. The rear axle GAWR is 36,000 lbs. on my Windsor and the tire is rated at 5,675 lbs. each. This seems strange that an over the road truck tire wouldn't handle the weight of my coach. Is there something I'm missing to purchase the correct tire? Any help would be appreciated. Richard
  13. My 2002 Monaco Windsor's driver's wiper goes beyond its normal travel point on windy days. Not sure which part needs replacement yet but where can I find replacement parts? Thanks. Richard
  14. Since I'm on the road, I'll rachet strap the generator slide to something until we get home for repair. Thanks for everyone's input. Rich
  15. I haven't check hydraulic fluid in a long time. Should I check when slide is in or out? If low what type of fluid does it take? Rich
  16. When going down a hill the generator hydraulic slide moves out about three inches. What can I do to fix this problem? Rich
  17. I had two of my windows repaired at Suncoast Designers in Hudson, Florida. 727-868-2773 Richard
  18. Just replaced the old filter with a spin-on filter head on the outside of the sound enclosure. What micron rating should the filter be? Rich
  19. My 7.5 Onan Generator fuel lines to the filter are difficult to disconnect. The inlet to the filter is a rigid tubing from the fuel pump with flare connectors. The filter outlet is a flexible hose to the motor. Both filter flare connectors are rounded from using a wrong type of wrench on them. Has anyone replaced the rigid tubing with a flexible hose which would make changing out the filter much easier or am I stuck with replacing the OEM parts? Rich
  20. The sliding part of the drivers window is cloudy and difficult to see out. Is there a shop that can repair the window or does the entire window need to be replaced? If repairable, how do you remove the sliding window? Rich
  21. Is there something better than connecting/unconnecting coaxial connections to switch from satellite, cable and over the air TV use? I only have one cable going to the bedroom/outside TV's from the front. Rich Cole
  22. Chris, I have the Omega 1 style awnings on my 02 Monaco Windsor. The spring is weak or needs some lubrication since I have to help it rewind when the roadside front lounge slide goes in. I accidently ripped a 6" tear in the awning material recently. How do I find instructions for removal of this awning? Rich Cole
  23. I had to replace both of my headlight housings since water was leaking inside. I found numerous small cracks on the clear plastic housing so it was time to replace. How do you adjust the aim of the new headlights? Richard Cole
  24. While driving home from our last trip my dash fuel gauge went from half full to completely full and pegged to the right. The next day I started up the coach and the fuel gauge indicates correct level. I did check the four wires connected to the sender. They could use cleaning but they connected. Any clues why this happened? Richard
  25. Was thinking about replacing the propane gas cooktop with induction type. Has anyone done this upgrade? Rich
