  1. Richard, Does your light look like the one in the attached image? If so, it is a 3” ITC RV LUMINAIRE VR overhead light from ITC RV. Entire fixture: 81229 (specify standard clip-in, spring, or screw mounting) Replacement lens: 81230-LENS. A year ago, February, I purchased several complete fixtures on sale for $12.01 each plus freight. 2. Julie, Your taillight assembly was made by Hamsar out of Canada. Hamsar no longer makes the assembly and apparently has no intention of doing so. Replacements are very hard to come by. The assembly is a non-standard size, DOT numbers don’t seem to match anything else. The Hella replacement lenses will not fit. Here is Hamsar contact information, hope you have better luck than others: 5320 Downey Street Burlington, ON L7L 6M2 Canada Phone: 905.332.4094 Toll Free: 1.800.567.5483 Email: hamsar.sales@grakon.com Driver side; Stacked lamp # 86200 BN 200606 Passenger side; Stacked lamp # 86201, BIN 070513 -Scott
  3. Anand, Looking at the image you posted on BAC (Apr 9, 2021), for sure the six-pin connector is not original and I’m pretty sure the seven-pin is also not original, both would be suspect. Your coach probably came with a one piece seven-pin/flat six-pin combo. This would have been mounted in a bracket that was low on the hitch cross bar and very easily damaged. Also, if the pervious owner installed an electric brake controller, disconnect it. If it has already been removed, trace the wires. It is possible the PO hacked into the brake light circuit looking for a trigger not realizing that your coach came factory pre-wired for a brake controller. The factory brake controller harness contains a brake light trigger wire that is not energized when the engine brake engages. Your comment about seeing a difference between the service brake/Jake brake operation adds to the mystery, it should not matter which one triggers the brake lights. The engine brake triggered brake light should override the hazard operation just like applying the service brakes. In fact, if a person likes to use the hazards when slowly descending a grade, the hazards will go solid when the when the engine brake engages. Look for circuit board # 8 in the front run box. This PCB contains a 15-amp fuse and relay that triggers the brake lights when the engine brake is engaged. Is there a fuse in the holder? As a side note, if someone wishes to disable the engine brake activated brake lights and your coach has the newer ‘Christmas Tree’ type front run box (PCB mounted components with the LED indicators), find PCB #8 and pull the 15-amp fuse labeled ENG BRAKE LT. Are you seeing any other anomalies with the turn signal or brake lights? Do the front turn signal lights function normal? In your BAC post, you said that all four red brake lights, the high mounted brake light and both rear amber turn signal lights all flash when the hazards are on…this is normal hazard operation for your coach. Which lights are on solid and which ones flash (including the front) when the turn signal is on and you apply the service brakes? -Scott
  4. Try CB World at https://www.wearecb.com/. Send them the images that you posted, and they may be able to suggest a replacement.
  5. Chris, You mentioned upper-end Coburg built coaches with “missing critical support cross members”. Can you please elaborate? With regards to the ceiling/roof construction, how do the Coburg units differ from those built in Indiana? I assume these upper-end coaches have the recessed ceiling area with the drop-down panels. We have a Coburg built 2006 Patriot Thunder and the weight of the A/C unit and satellite dish has created a depression in the roof resulting in standing water around both. After exploring the ceiling/roof construction in the living room I can understand why, it appears that the recessed ceiling area is significantly under-built. Scott
  6. I installed the new control module and it is working great. Disconnecting the original was a bit of a challenge, I was able to drop the module out the bottom of the compartment which made access to the connectors a little easier. The extension cable worked great; I was able to gain a little length on the other two cables by untangling them from the other wiring prior to reconnecting. A small jeweler’s type screw driver helped. We were on our second OEM control board, the original locked out (and would not reset) after trying to use the Service Mode, the second (NOS installed five years ago) had intermittent issues with the Service Mode.
  7. Simon, If it’s just the screen material that you are needing, any good window and door shop can replace it. If you are needing the entire frame you could contact Northwest RV Supply in Eugene Oregon (541.746.9092).
