  1. My 2006, Monaco Cayman has the box below the drivers seat and a box in a cabinet over the passenger side of the bed.
  2. Thanks to all who replied. I am in Mexico and will be starting back to Maine soon. By starting it up now I wanted to avoid any possible surprise if it wouldn’t start when we go to leave, but I didn’t want to have to move everything inside to pull in the slides if it wasn’t necessary.
  3. I have a 2006 Monaco Cayman. I am a relative newbie. If I am parked with the slide outs out, and the stabilizers down, should I be able to start the Cummins and let it warm up?
  4. Could someone please direct me to a site where I can find LED replacements for the ceiling fluorescents? Whaley96raw
  5. I believe that I have a converter. i'll look there. Thanks!
  6. No voltage detected at the A/C receptacle in the Norcold 1200 fridge compartment. Checked the circuits in the A/C panel in the bedroom and there is no circuit designated for refrigerator and all of the circuit breakers appear to be functioning properly. Is there another A/C circuit board located elsewhere? Any assistance appreciated whaley96raw
  7. I have looked at the parts list, called three different telephone numbers in search of part numbers for the drum brake shoes and brake hardware. No call has been successful. I have a 2006 36’ Monaco Cayman and I have been told that I have a broken shoe. Can anyone provide a lead to somewhere where they can be obtained, please? and could someone give me a link to the tech bulletin list? Any help would be greatly appreciated. whaley96raw
  8. Moderator's Note. There was a recent (last Saturday) discussion on this and information. Using the SEARCH for DOOR in TOPICS, this came up. Therefore, this new post has been combined into the previous one. There is a complete HOW TO FILE that was posted. When we first bought our 2006 Monaco Cayman 36 foot motorhome five years ago, the entry door was difficult to open from the outside. I was instructed to push in and then quickly take the pressure off on the outside of the door while pulling on the recessed door handle. This has worked, more or less successfully until lately when it has gotten much more difficult for my wife to use enough force to push in the door to make it open. The door opens just fine from the inside. I need some advice about how to tackle this issue. I had a mobile RV technician visit the rig and he was reluctant to tackle the job of opening up the inside of the door to make any adjustments. Links to any articles or videos about how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
  9. 2006 Monaco Cayman Can anyone help identify the the hose type and size and perhaps part number of the radiator hose that leads from the bottom of the reserve tank to the motor on my Cummins 300 hp diesel? I've measured the id and it appears to be 1.28, the od measured 1.62 and the orifice of the tube exiting the tank was 1.42. Also important is where to obtain it. I can't go anywhere without it and I'm here in sunny Mexico. Any help appreciated. Whaley96raw
  10. So, if the controller in the pump becomes stuck in the closed position, then the pump won’t operate. Is that how it works? My next door neighbor had the exact same issue and he was able to fix it by pressing on the controller inside the pump body and unsticking it. I plan to do the same once I am able to access the pump (it is in a very difficult place to get to). I have been able to determine that there is power to the pump when the switch is on. Raw96
  11. Not sure what topic this should be addressed to but this one seems the closest to my problem. My water pump that was replaced about a year ago all of a sudden just stopped working. I have a 2006 Monaco Cayman and the water pump is in what I called the water bay. Does anyone know where I can find the fuse for the pump or have any other idea of what to check because the pump just will not work when the switch is turned to on? Thanks.
  12. The tach in my 2006 Monaco Cayman bounced erratically until a mechanic with common sense tightened the nut where the cable entered the back of the tachometer.
  13. Somehow lost the cap for the hydraulic reservoir for my leveling system. Any ideas where to find a replacement? whaley 96raw
