  1. I ran 315s on the front of my 04 Dynasty and 11R22.5 in the rear once the 295s aged out. The big Monaco’s need at least a 295 on the front but not on the rear. A 11R needs +8 psi to carry the same load as a 295 and the psi you quoted is plenty for the weight/rating for each axle. Both sizes are the same diameter and many trucks run 11Rs in all positions. Without having put all the miles on the tires you are rolling the dice to save what??? They need replacing. Im also running 315s and 11R on my 08 Navigstor. Put 35K miles that way on the Dynasty and only recently put 11R on the back of the Nav.
  2. Set at 40 psi and go weigh with full fuel and water plus most of your stuff. My educated guess you’ll be at 14k, 20k and tag at 10k.
  3. Sounds like you are in the business of selling these grossly over priced , not so efficient refrigerators. My 21 Whirlpool draws 8 amps dc measured before the inverter or 96 watts but only when dry camping. Inverter loses are in the 3-5% range and The current draw of the Everchill Refrigerator for RVs # 324-000119 is 11 amps or 132 watts at 12 volts... smaller refrigerator drawing 30% more power.
  4. There is a mod to reduce the leaning… restrictors in the airlines to the bags so not a problem and it’s probably a 1/4” line.
  5. X2 and better than the new stuff being manufactured. X2 although on the 42’ Dynasty it was a close fit to the Airbag mounting plate behind the steps….plenty of room on the 45’ Navigator. Instead of 295s on the rear, I’m running 11R22.5s…$338 installed. A friend put 315s in his 42’ Dynasty but had to grind some of the mounting plate off which was bigger than the airbag’s bottom plate.
  6. Take the black louvers off the back side to access the mounting. I mounted a larger smart TV on the face of the cabinet…not inside as they are very thin around the edges.
  7. W01-358-9447 only difference is the size of the airline hose…3/4” to the 9376’s 1/4”. On EBay for $125.

Do you have a metal box (cover comes off) in the engine compartment? Is there a large solenoid labeled BigBoy?

    fantastic fan

I would find the 12v fuse block, often in the bathroom or next to the 120V breaker panel. Pretty sure the fuse is there.
  10. Had a question about the panels I used as nightlights in the kick area on the bottom of the bathroom cabinets… used two 12 LED 5050 panels under a full-size cabinet, so 3 total. The 48 led panels were used under the upper kitchen cabinets. I also use them instead of strips in my fluorescent fixtures…4 in each 18”. I still buy on EBay as they were sold there long before Amazon. I’ve had good luck with the G4 (2 pin) 12 SMD 5050 led bulbs which 12+ years ago, bulbs were $2, but only $1 today.
  11. There is a SAE standard for big engine starter bolt placement. Instead of a Delco, I would recommend a geared Denso starter on EBay. I used a mechanic with a pit (so I could spray for air leaks) to put a replacement Denso gear starter on my ISX. Because it had fewer teeth he said it would not fit so put the Delco back on. 3 years later when the Delco would barely turn it ove, put the Denso on… it was the correct starter as the gear is off center. Each of by 3 batteries (one at a time) will start it now.
  12. The LED strips are the only LEDs I’ve had trouble with…don’t last very long. It would have been easier and looked better to run a strip along the bottom of the upper kitchen cabinets BUT not going to make that mistake a 4th time like I did in the bathroom’s bottom cabinet. Used six 48 led panels instead of a strip and 3 years later every chip is still working. As much as they get used, I’ll guarantee you I couldn’t say the same if I’d used a strip. If you use a strip, don’t hard wire it in…use the small 2 pin connector so you can replace easier.
  13. Only one slide??? Other 3 work OK? Likely corrosion on that relay’s connections for that slide located under your steps assuming the signal to the relay board is not intermittent.
  14. Are you sure it’s the switches? Are they broken or do not activate the light? First thing with any computer system is to reboot it…turn all the 12V power off, including the solar. Hopefully this gets its bites in a row…works. Without a backup of your rig’s system, even M&M will have trouble programming a new switch board. No standardization of what each switch board controls… why you need a backup of each board. M&M spends the winter in Sanford, Fla. In the rear closet is the majority of the multiplex system… lots of fuses and relays. I have some boards behind the front TV but they are mostly for controlling shades and awnings. While someone pushes a switch that’s not working, watch the lights on the boards in the closet to see if you have a corresponding light on a board…if you do then the switch is good and you need to check the fuses on that board.
  15. Guess I wasn’t clear enough having posted how to repair on 12/29. If getting it off is hard, you’re not going to enjoy the repair. https://www.monacoers.org/topic/3681-“the-right-track”-front-shade-repair/#comment-31983 It an electric Right Track shade.
  16. 08 Navigator has a plastic pan under the washer with a drain hose out the bottom. The front lip is removable (can’t remove washer without removing it). The Samsung washer I installed made it difficult to get this lip reinstall… wouldn’t slide back as far. Had to seal it in place instead of screwing it back in place.
  17. No, it’s a washer only and hopefully the dryer doesn’t go south on me. Most things on a dryer are fixable, even a loose inner drum…3 bolts in plain sight unlike the washer.
  18. We went 14 years as halftimers using just the 2100xc without using a launder-mat… OK, rugs got washed at home. Granted during the winter it’s mainly shorts and T-shirts, sheets and towels once/week and one load each. It will wash more than you might think. Current rig had Ariston stacked units and the washer last week die…inner drum loose inside the outer drum. DW wanted to replace with a 2100xc and remove the dryer so she could store more stuff. Replaced with a Samsung washer which is much quieter and has the high speed spin.
  19. Happy Pressure Pro user here without needing a repeater… will pickup the toad 100’ behind the MH. Mounted unit so antenna is beside the driver’s glass window. I loosen the sensors while in storage or while snowbirding for several months… get 8+ years out of the batteries that way. Initial location programming can be a challenge. It’s nice to sit in the seat and check all the pressures before starting each morning. I still IR temp my tires, wheel bearings, & brakes when fueling.
  20. “very cold air” doesn’t add up that it’s the coil on the reversing valve… the default is heat when it stops working on the older units. Can you hear the compressor start (or increase in amps )?
  21. Not everywhere and the bare feet go outside too. I was able to get this one from the floor, to the ledge where my feet are ^^^ and then into its hole by myself.
  22. The inner drum in the Arister washer got so loose it would barely spin, a terminal problem… not repairable. Decided on a Samsung replacement which got delivered yesterday but the in “home” delivery doesn’t include RVs by 2 strong guys. Tried to shame them into doing it as the DW and I had replaced a Splendide in our 04 Dynasty by ourselves…nope! If you have to replace , there’s a trick I came up with to make it easier. The hardest part is getting it out the door and holding on to the top is nearly impossible. By putting a strap around the machine near the top (machine goes out the door on its side, bottom first) you can pick it up without being on your knees and smashing your fingers underneath it. Fortunately Monaco’s have a large door, in the closet, that lets you get to the back of the machines… combo units have a cutout at the back of the shelf above it. Had to move the dryer ahead to get to the water valves and the screw holding the electric cord. New hoses didn’t have a 90 on one end so had to reuse the old ones.
  23. Like the above, our 200 in 14 years provided enough hot water for 2 back to back showers. Only time I used the diesel is when dry camping letting me service it every 4-5 years.
