  1. I too went through a period where I was building trust in the System Heat. My experience was complicated by the fact that I was starting with a newly repaired system as it was busted and modified by the previous owner. I used an indoor/outdoor thermometer placing the outdoor sensor in the wet bay to monitor things but might get one with the daily high/low recorder like this: https://www.amazon.com/AcuRite-00424CA-Digital-Thermometer-Temperature/dp/B00WXIR94M/ref=sr_1_10?crid=2QNSIGD701G6M&keywords=thermometer%2Bhi%2Blow%2Boutdoor&qid=1697553740&sprefix=thermometer%2Bhi%2Blow%2Boutdoor%2Caps%2C69&sr=8-10&th=1 Jerry 2001 HR Scepter
  2. Joanne, I read through your posts and it's not clear to me if you're needing troubleshooting help, or just asking about the System Heat in general. With the power switch on, the heater in the wet bay will activate when the temperature inside the bay gets near freezing. Much like a furnace in a house, it will run until the thermostat shuts the system off. Look in your wet bay for the heater. Previous posts have photos of what to look for and note that it may be tucked behind stuff. You might also have the heating pads. These look the same as a heating pad you'd buy at Walgreens. The heaters sometimes fail and owners/technicians don't always repair things back to factory specifications so some of what we're describing might not look the same as what you find. I know this first hand. Close up photos of your wet bay will help us help help you. 🙂 Jerry
  3. There is a section on sharing, etc. starting on page 61 of the docs. https://bluefire-llc.com/files/Getting Started v6.3.pdf
  4. The Power Gear leveling system on my 01 HR Scepter did have a sticker on the jack with a model number so at least in *some* circumstances the info is there. I can appreciate your desire to not crawl under the coach though. Going at this from a different direction, I would think that the jack would have been provided as part of the leveling system to Holiday Rambler/Monaco. Then maybe figure out what jack would have been supplied with that system. With that in mind, is there a brand name printed on the control panel on the dash? In the box of manuals that was supplied with the coach, mine included one for the leveling system. Maybe that'll have some information. I was able to locate used replacements at Colaw's and Visone but I had the model number off the jack. https://colawrv.com/ https://rvparts.visonerv.com/
  5. Hi Steven, As someone mentioned, check the chassis section of your manual as I found the specs for mine there. I called the local Cummins Coach Care facility who gave me a referral to a shop they send their customers to for alignments. I lucked out and got a good shop but at a minimum I would expect them to have the resources to take care of your problem. Coach Care 2200 Old Pinson HighwayBirmingham, ALABAMA 35217205 841-0421 Jerry
  6. I just did the exhaust on my 2001 HR Scepter. I reused the flanged pipe that attaches to the Pacbrake exhaust brake and had to order the associated v-band clamp from Pacbrake as I was unable to find it locally. I ordered most all of this plus some extra bits from Amazon as I wasn't 100% on how it would fit which I could easily return. 7. For slide - Momentary: https://www.amazon.com/JR-Products-12695-White-Switch/dp/B002UC8NIM/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=jr+products+12695&qid=1593707514&sr=8-2 Ceiling - I can't tell but it looks like it needs to be SPDT. If it works like a 3-way switch at home then maybe this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UBZL9W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And this is a total guess on the bedroom one but in white it would be: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0031OWLAY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Yes, you are correct. JR Products makes a line of switches that seem identical to the ones in my Scepter and while I'd have to go back and look, I think this was the brand I have. My intent was just to point Jim to another source and not the exact model numbers.
  9. I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UBZL9W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0031OWLAY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Looks like you can get ivory.
  10. Certainly you'll want to explore all the options. Air rotating a fan I would think would vary based on wind direction relative to the coach. In that case a tail wind would require more ground speed as the air speed would be less. I was asking about what the shop did because it wasn't clear to me if they were trying to diagnose the problem or just changing the wheel bearings per your request.
  11. I'm assuming you don't have a way to remove the tire and drum to do another inspection, correct?
  12. If you fill a glass with water, wet your finger, and rub it on the rim, it will make a tone but only at a certain speed. This is where I'm headed with my thinking. Could it be a pebble lodged in the brake pad area? Did the shop pull the drum?
  13. Our leaf is stored with the table underneath. If you havent, pull it out and maybe you'll get lucky. And of course, you could always try the salvage yards. Jerry
  14. I found conduit on my 01 HR Scepter on the inside of the driver's side frame rail. I had to crawl under but pulling out the generator gave me easy access in the front. It made getting the wire the length of the coach a bunch easier.
