  1.  Coach net is only a sales force. Their repair warranty claims are handled by a company that manages these contracts for several sellers of these products. That said, I have coach net and recently had a claim on my Foretravel. I had to remind them that I had bought the  premium product. Then they were very nice to deal with. I was at the HWH factory for service on the active air. Those folks were great to deal with. They fixed everything spending two long days. Very reasonable charges and mostly were  concerned for our comfort as we camped inside their facility. That combined with the coverage of my Coach net policy made be happy to pay the charges and submit myself to Coach net. HWH does not accept payment from any warranty co.

  2. Sometimes things do work out. My 2004 signature was a money pit. I had bought it right in 2017 but it proceeded to make Swiss cheese out of my pocket book. I had fixed all problems and had done many upgrades until I found pooling of water around my roof air conditioners. Also found a soft spot on the tile floor by the bathroom. So in February of 2021 Camping  World offered me a site unseen price that was at market value. I jumped at the deal and delivered it promptly to their Nashville lot. Collected my check and had the best April Fools day joke ever heard of.   With a bit more money I now own a 2015 Foretravel. I’ve stayed with this site hoping to find who has my former Signature so I could give them the service records. If you have a good one, enjoy it. Otherwise get out before you go down with the ship, lol

  3. We were in an accident on I 81 in September of 2021 and the tow bill to go 1/2 mile to the towing company garage was $6600. Then another company was employed by progressive insurance to tow the bus to Texas to the factory for repairs. That bill was just short of $16K. That company was supposed to use a Landol trailer lowboy to get it there. Instead and in the dark of the night, they showed up with a huge tow truck and used a front wheel lift to drag it to Texas. They bid on the job saying they would use a lowboy trailer. They damaged the back of the RV. That way they didn't need special permits for over length and over height. Progressive paid the bill. and the 90k for the repairs which took 12 months. But the bid was for the trailer which is the recommended method of towing a 45 foot bus.

  4. Saw my parents go from a 22 foot Winnie in 1978 to a 34 foot Southwind to a 34 foot Pace Arrow then a 36 foot Pace Arrow a 35 foot holiday Rambler and a second 34 Holiday Rambler. Then in 1992 they sold and bought a  park model in Florida. So In 2016 I bought a 44.5 foot Monaco Signature. It absorbed more $$ than I can tell you. So after fixing everything imaginable I sold it at a loss due to it needing basement floors and supports and living space floor went soft as well as ponding around the air conditioners due to failed roof supports. Sold that money pit April 1, 2021. Best Aprils fool thing I ever did. Next day took delivery on an iH-45 Foretravel. Life is good if you can afford it! Lol

  5. Hi Folks, First I must say I sold my 2004 Signature partly due to the flooring project that I did not want to do. Much of what is posted in this thread looks great to me. Good Job fellas. Mine would have needed a lot of subfloor fixed and the roof was sagging and the basement floors were rusted badly. So someone else will have a beautiful coach when they complete the work shown and demonstrated in this thread. One comment that I would add is that the subfloor product should be AdvanTech. We recently completed a stick frame house and our architect specified AdvanTech subflooring and I am very pleased with the result. It stands up to water far better than plywood or USB type products. To prove this to myself I have left a piece of it outside in the weather for 2 1/2 years. No change in it. It does what it is advertised to do. I believe this would be my choice if I were replacing an RV floor. Happy trails. Now in a 2015 Foretravel iH45.

  6. Hi Folks, On April 2, 2021 I sold my 2004 Signature to Camping World in Nashville, TN. I have 4 years of repair history that the new owner can have for free. During my ownership I incurred a great deal of expense getting the coach roadworthy and reliable. This includes tires, engine and transmission work, suspension upgrades and much more. I have kept all of the records and would love to have the new owner acquire these documents. The vehicle is a 2004 Signature 44.5 foot coach, Gentlemen's Retreat paint with the Detroit Series 60 engine. VIN 1RF18561141030661  Reply to this post or PM me for my contact information. Happy Trails!

  7. I owned a 2004 Signature for 4 years. Repairs came to 40K over those years. It does get better. That is, it does get better when you purchase a Foretravel. I did and now I have new challenges. Too many miles to drive and not enough time to be everywhere. Josams is a one of a kind sensational repair shop. I had cross bars and a watts link installed a month before selling my Signature to Camping World. Then we went to Olympia Luxury Coaches in Nashville. They lightened my pocket in exchange for a very nice 2015 iH-45 Foretravel. Try it, you will like it.

  8. White House hydraulic in Scotland is where I got mine for my 2004 signature. I have the old pump and a rebuild kit. I can supply you with a photo of the pump for the part number or I can provide the used pump. It was working fine when I took it off proactively. With the rebuild kit it should be fine.
