  1. I use rainex as well, use on the boat windshield, when running down the lake in walleye tournaments in the rain the water just beads right off Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  2. That's what I forgot to mention, I always kept the bedroom and galley slides in. Great point Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  3. I have stayed in my coach at -10 for with no issues, tile floor heat on as well, shore power and or generator running, heat turned on high in the basement, aqua hot circulating to the big motor ,nice and warm,if I am traveling the next morning I alway leave the front curtain open so the windshield is not all iced up. 5. My son lives in the UK, he rents the higher end Volkswagen rv's in the country he travels in, I just came from the world Ironman Race in Nice, of course I am always looking at the RV's when they go by, only Rig that I see that would be the same size as my coach are tour busses, everything else is camper van size, small but some nice stuff, personally after being in the coastal elps and in around the city I would not want to drive anything any larger, roads narrow, streets are tight and as you know they go fast!!, those elps with the switch backs were crazy enough on my tt bike I would never drive a full size coach there.I can get some more info from my son if your interested. 6. I just carry the tire itself securely fastened in either of the Rams trucks that I am towing, at least I don't have to wait for a tire to be ordered if there was no immediate availability, would have to pay for it to be mounted on the rim. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  7. Not the correct spot for the coach cover update, but for those who where reading my response to the post in regards to flooring, here is the update on the coach cover, power can back on ,live feed to the coach, the cover did not move, second hurricane and all is well. 8. All the tiles in mine are heated, I would definitely look into adding heated flooring if and when the time comes to replace, going all electric is nice and having the generator for recharging, I have never tried the heated floors with the inverter and don't even know if that is possible. For the heat, I believe it would be just right for those of you that do not venture as far north, at times that is all I use to keep the temperature just right, small (electric heater) in the living room and everything is cozy. Nice in the morning as mentioned, keep the socks on the floor ,nice and toastie in the morning. Caught out in the rain on occasions, perfect place to dry things out. Hurricane Lee is ripping through my lake front property, my security cameras are out because the power went out yesterday afternoon , there has been a few posts in regards to coach covers, this will be the second Hurricane that the cover has seen,I will post an update once the power comes back on and I get a live feed to the coach and my property. Fingers crossed Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  9. I use a turkey baster, measure the amount the first couple cells take on the batteries that are out front, then give the same or a little less so I don't over fill, takes about 20 minutes and done Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  10. Another pro that I forgot to mention, for me in Canada I do not have to pay taxes on a cover nor do I need expensive insurance policy. Would love to build a shop but just not worth the taxes and insurance. Can buy many covers for how long I continue down this motor coach lifestyle. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  11. Morning I have had several covers, the cheaper one lasted 2 years, this one from RV covers.ca (Toiles VR.com - SKU -PSA08G - 43' to 46' Fits on my coach like a glove, the two covers I have had never caused.any chafing, the latest one works great with the snow, I had posted in the past that the cover had no problems when hurricane Fiona ripped though our lake property in Nova Scotia Canada, I do clean and wax my coach often.looks fantastic, as we know there is a ten year policy with coaches on certain sites, when I send pictures I am always welcomed. The cover is not for everyone, there are hazards of getting on the roof, putting it on and taking it off with no wind, usually do it early morning, usually two people to put it on,taking it off is simple. Forget to mention, it is not a tarp,it does breath and there is no mold. Hope this helps Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  12. Morning I just replaced mine,it is just a standard flex pipe from the truck shop,I rerouted it under the oil pan,put a new crome tip on and that is it,plenty of noise with standard muffler. Wayne 1999 signature ceaser
