  1. I use rainex as well, use on the boat windshield, when running down the lake in walleye tournaments in the rain the water just beads right off Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  2. That's what I forgot to mention, I always kept the bedroom and galley slides in. Great point Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  3. I have stayed in my coach at -10 for with no issues, tile floor heat on as well, shore power and or generator running, heat turned on high in the basement, aqua hot circulating to the big motor ,nice and warm,if I am traveling the next morning I alway leave the front curtain open so the windshield is not all iced up. 5. My son lives in the UK, he rents the higher end Volkswagen rv's in the country he travels in, I just came from the world Ironman Race in Nice, of course I am always looking at the RV's when they go by, only Rig that I see that would be the same size as my coach are tour busses, everything else is camper van size, small but some nice stuff, personally after being in the coastal elps and in around the city I would not want to drive anything any larger, roads narrow, streets are tight and as you know they go fast!!, those elps with the switch backs were crazy enough on my tt bike I would never drive a full size coach there.I can get some more info from my son if your interested. 6. I just carry the tire itself securely fastened in either of the Rams trucks that I am towing, at least I don't have to wait for a tire to be ordered if there was no immediate availability, would have to pay for it to be mounted on the rim. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  7. Not the correct spot for the coach cover update, but for those who where reading my response to the post in regards to flooring, here is the update on the coach cover, power can back on ,live feed to the coach, the cover did not move, second hurricane and all is well. 8. All the tiles in mine are heated, I would definitely look into adding heated flooring if and when the time comes to replace, going all electric is nice and having the generator for recharging, I have never tried the heated floors with the inverter and don't even know if that is possible. For the heat, I believe it would be just right for those of you that do not venture as far north, at times that is all I use to keep the temperature just right, small (electric heater) in the living room and everything is cozy. Nice in the morning as mentioned, keep the socks on the floor ,nice and toastie in the morning. Caught out in the rain on occasions, perfect place to dry things out. Hurricane Lee is ripping through my lake front property, my security cameras are out because the power went out yesterday afternoon , there has been a few posts in regards to coach covers, this will be the second Hurricane that the cover has seen,I will post an update once the power comes back on and I get a live feed to the coach and my property. Fingers crossed Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  9. I use a turkey baster, measure the amount the first couple cells take on the batteries that are out front, then give the same or a little less so I don't over fill, takes about 20 minutes and done Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  10. Another pro that I forgot to mention, for me in Canada I do not have to pay taxes on a cover nor do I need expensive insurance policy. Would love to build a shop but just not worth the taxes and insurance. Can buy many covers for how long I continue down this motor coach lifestyle. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  11. Morning I have had several covers, the cheaper one lasted 2 years, this one from RV covers.ca (Toiles VR.com - SKU -PSA08G - 43' to 46' Fits on my coach like a glove, the two covers I have had never caused.any chafing, the latest one works great with the snow, I had posted in the past that the cover had no problems when hurricane Fiona ripped though our lake property in Nova Scotia Canada, I do clean and wax my coach often.looks fantastic, as we know there is a ten year policy with coaches on certain sites, when I send pictures I am always welcomed. The cover is not for everyone, there are hazards of getting on the roof, putting it on and taking it off with no wind, usually do it early morning, usually two people to put it on,taking it off is simple. Forget to mention, it is not a tarp,it does breath and there is no mold. Hope this helps Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  12. Morning I just replaced mine,it is just a standard flex pipe from the truck shop,I rerouted it under the oil pan,put a new crome tip on and that is it,plenty of noise with standard muffler. Wayne 1999 signature ceaser
  13. Mike would help out but I am 1000 miles away from my unit. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser

  16. I finally had a chance to call Cummins, I tool the serial number off the Motor, looks like 61951262, they said that is not the number, nothing comes up, the first number is not right, so I asked him to try every number from 0 to 10 and nothing came up, he did not seem to want to help, said sorry buddy your going to have to get dirty and clean that oil pan to find a number, okay, great news,I am already 9 hours away from the unit, the whole idea was to order all parts and start some repairs in October. Any other ideas? Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  17. Omg,I think that is going to wait until I have a week of nothing to do! I understand what could be going on now, I am going to put some air to the cold water intake ,open the faucets (hot water) one at a time and blow any water that may be left in the lines, winterize it and tackle it in the spring, we are traveling via plane /condo for fall /winter breaks. I have to change the oil pan, looking for a part number for the ISM 500 Cummins, and I either have to try to take off the air actuator for the tag lift/lower or if anyone has the size ,I believe they are 24",32" ? Thanks for the help Ivan, hope your enjoying the summer. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  18. Good day Hope everyone is well I got back to the coach this week, was filling my fresh water holding tank and water started to run un the unit and out the bay door on the opposite side, not just a little, lots of water, I needed some water to get by for the next 7 day so I cut the pex and put a plug in just before the inlet to the unit so I could still have some water, Atifreeze in the unit is all good no leaks, had the front cover off, nothing visible from the burner /manifold side. I have never taken the other cover off, going to open Patrick's file and have a look, any idea? What would I be looking at as a fresh water inlet leak inside the until,I read all the threads Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  19. I am doing the same, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to tear out the old fridge, while waiting I purchased a V Free fridge freezer chest from Vitrifrigo, going to be a year in July, I am going to purchase the full size fridge to replace the Norcold, they are expensive, I want the 12 volt/electric options, used on water crafts, low voltage consumption, dimensions are correct. 20. Alfred Any luck? Where are you located in Nova Scotia? I am traveling to Dartmouth this morning and over to truro to pick up some culverts, I am located in Enfield, could stop by if your on my route. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser Thunder Bay Ontario /Enfield Nova Scotia
  21. Dave Try Alberta coach and chassis. I buy most of my parts from them, ask for Steve, I would imagine he has a guy.My coach had a brand new clear coat on it before I bought it off a friend, when not in use I keep a coach cover on it as I don't have a shop.I wax it so much my wife thinks I have a problem. Have to keep the sunscreen on the coach. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  22. Bob, should air up at pretty much any air temperature, we are just across the border, you were at almost 78 degrees over the weekend, looks like it is leaning to the passenger side, air it up again, move the coach out of the shelter see what happens. Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
  23. Sometimes the most efficient and safest way to do these type of jobs is to take it to a truck and trailer shop, you have the parts they have the experience. Be careful Wayne 1999 Signature ceaser
