  1. I removed mine and installed a manual valve in its place for same reason. Mine was pulling 1 amp or 24 ah per day.
  2. Ive had same issues decrypting the scangage codes with no luck. Last time I called them they sent me to bigdieselcodes.com but that didn’t help either. on my coach i have 2 switches under /inside the dash by steering column labled diag and idle, heres my notes on how to use them to display the codes by flashing the CEL light, these will be cummins codes easily found online. Hope this helps To check DTC: Diag sw show’s first code then idle up sw show next etc
  3. Yes I replaced mine about a year ago, had the occasional dreaded dead pedal that kept getting worse. I have the airdog too so far so good.
  4. I had same issue with SG codes, nothing on google so I called them they were not able to tell me what they were. They told me to look on truckfaults.com which didn’t help either. Ultimately i changed the injection pump by process of elimination and they went away. I don’t use it for codes anymore hope you have better luck
  5. Its also possible something is blocking the flue tube internally. Theres a heat disperser that drops into the flue tube from the top that can be removed allowing access to the inside. Would have to pull the fridge out to get to it. And When i worked for an RV dealer anytime we pulled a fridge we always flip it side to side and let it gurgle, they work better after doing this too.
  6. What warning light comes on? The turbo is driven from exhaust from engine loading and a lot of suspected turbo issues are really engine fueling issues. An intermittent crank position sensor or manifold absolute pressure sensor can cause your issues. There would be a diagnostic code stored in the engine ECM as to which sensor. Or any issues in the fuel system could also be the culprit if the turbo spins up at all (makes good boost at times) which it sounds like it does, then it could also be either a sticking wastegate or if its a variable geometry turbo then the gate could be sticking. Either of these causes bypass of exhaust around the turbo making it not spin up.
  7. The fuse for the TCM (transmission control module) is inside of the VIM module (vehicle interface module) on my allison md3060. Sounds like the fuse is blown or the tcm or shifter module is bad. my VIM is in the front drivers bay, its a square aluminum box with 8 small bolts holding the cover on about 6 or 8 “ square box hope this helps
  8. Hi Gerry I would like to take you up on your generous offer, ive been planning to order one for my Norcold for awhile, I would be glad to pay you more than just the the shipping, even $50 would be a great bargain for me.
  9. My MD3060 tranny temp doesn’t work on scangauge either, i think it requires manual setup on scangauge as an xgauge but I haven’t called them yet to verify, does anyone have one working? Thx Jon
