  1. You might give Kustom Coach Works (541-501-3371) in Junction City , Oregon a call. They did the floors in my coach and did a great job. He had also done the TV remodel in the front and bedroom areas. Several members of our Monaco club have used them and like his work. I would also second Oregon Elite Rv in Oregon for your Air Conditioners. They have done AC work on several members of our Monaco group. Good luck on your projects and safe travels.
  2. Several members in our club have replaced their Air Bags. The front and rear bags are the same so far in all the coaches that have been changed. The coaches that have been done are Sigs , Executives and Dynasty. The front air bag use the 3/4 fitting on the air bag and the rear bags reduce the 3/4 hole down in size. The bags you have found are the same ones we have all used and might be the best price you can find. Just a side note most of us that changed our bags went from the press in fit to the compression style fittings. Since my bags have been replaced my air leveling system has stayed in level mode for as long as 2 weeks, a very big improvement from before the new bags.
  3. We had a similar problem with our windshield wipers only working in certain Positions. Replaced the clockspring and everything works. The video shows a detailed explanation of how to replace it. I called REV and after giving them my Vin they told me the part number I needed. While in there replacing the Clockspring don't forget to grease the steering wheel fitting.
  4. Call Source engineering and get the best shocks you can. Labor to install is the same on a cheap shock as the slightly more expensive model. Several members of our Monaco club have upgraded/replaced our shocks using the Source Engineering Bilsteins and every one of us has been very impressed with the results. Many members have said their coach never road or handled as well .
  5. Welcome to the Monaco Family and hope you enjoy your new coach in Germany.
  6. I had a 2009 La Palma diesel pusher for 3.5 years. It was a white-knuckle ride at first but with a few upgrades it was a pleasure to drive. I did a steering stabilizer and then replaced the Monroe shocks. The coach only had 30,000 mile on it but when I pulled the shocks, they were ALL completely shot. The Workhorse chassis had 2 different style shock mounts from front to rear. My fix was to order Koni's and Bilstein , 2 for the front and 2 for the rear. The result was amazing the coach drove like never before, tracked straight and no more white-knuckle driving.
  7. If you still have the Drivers side mirror for sale I would be interested in buying it.
  8. Use caution if you access the listed site it locked me out of my computer and gave me virus warning.
  9. We had a similar problem a few years back. Turn signals would start to not work and then work. The signals finally stopped working completely. Napa Auto had a replacement flasher and that fixed the problem. Our coach had the flasher in the Left front electrical panel/box / bay just in front of the drivers front tire. I attached a photo of our flasher
  10. Have used Diesel Kleen for several years and it has been great. I also started to add Lucas additives to the fuel with great results.
  11. On a trip to Las Vegas last year, we ran very low for me, to the 1/8 mark on the fuel gauge. Pulled into the T/A and filled the tank with 128 gallons for a 150 gallon tank. So with that info I guess the fuel gauge is fairly accurate. Sure hate to get into that area of the fuel gauge.
  12. We had a similar problem with our motorized bat wing antenna. Unit would not go up and rotate. Took the unit apart and lubed all the rusty internals, reassembled and the unit works fine. You might try taking it apart cleaning the rusty parts and giving it some lube.
  13. Had one installed on our 2007 Executive last year at Source Engineering. Unit works great, nice upgrade. Several members of our Monaco chapter have had them installed in the past year and everyone is very satisfied with the results.
  14. Replaced our hose with a Flexzilla hose. Removed almost all of the old hose leaving about 3 ft attached to the reel. Purchased a brass barbed fitting from Home Depot and used it to attach the new hose to the old. I had to remove the end of the hose not needed but saved the hose I cut off from the new hose. The Flexzilla hose is 50 ft long and I cut about 15 ft off of it. I purchased a new hose end and now use this section if I encounter a situation where my hose reel is too short. I have had to use it on a few occasions, and it worked great. The Flexzilla hose has worked great and remains very flexible and easy to store.
  15. Not 100% sure but I think the Bilstein shocks form Source have a larger diameter shat and are revolved for Source .Good luck on your selection. Remember you will probably only replace these shocks once while you own the coach. should say shaft and revolved. Spell check keeps changing revalved
  16. We had all 10 shocks replaced last year with Bilsteins at Source Engineering. Big improvement in ride and handling. Several of our Rv friends have since had Source Engineering replace their shocks ,all with very pleased results. Source has a special shock from Bilstein for installation on RVs.
  17. Good luck with the project, looks like you are off to a great start.
  18. Fantastic list of projects. You did a great job on a long list of items.
  19. We had Stone Vos do 2 of our coaches and they make a fantastic product.
  20. Oh so true Oregon and Washington are racing to catch up with California stupidity. They make have a ways to go to learn how to steal and mis appropriate funds for public improvements. Very sad day when we are dealing with these types of problems.
  21. We had a similar problem last month while driving through Denver. Turn signals and flashers stopped working. When we arrived at our destination I started looking for the flasher to check numbers and possibly purchase a new one. After some searching I located a unit that had no visible marking or numbers on it. When I removed the unit it was not seated all the way in the socket. After it was removed I saw it was the flasher unit, I wrote down the model number and replaced the flasher in its socket, making sure it was fully seated. Then checked the flasher and it was working fine. Went ahead and bought a replacement just in case , never needed it. Maybe check the flasher and make sure it is fully seated, located in front electric bay on my 2007 Executive.
  22. Hey Brett We just had a shade made for our 2007 Executive by Magna shade great fit. Not sure i the two are close in size. We did have to make templates for the drivers window and door window. All fit great.
  23. 3 years back I had to replace the stock Monroe shocks on my 2009 La Palma Diesel. At 28,000 miles they were shot. All 4 shocks were blown and not working at all. Wanted to use Bilstein Shocks but they don’t make a shock to fit the rear on my coach. I ended up put Kong’s on the rear and Bilsteins on the front. The improvement in the ride was amazing to say the least. The steering was a huge improvement as well. Wish I had done the replacement sooner. Just bought a 2007 Executive and replaced all 10 shocks at Source Eng. Big improvement in ride and handling. They installed Bilsteins all around.
  24. The Falken tires on my coach were labeled made in Japan. Don’t know if that helps. I would buy them again. Wayne
