  1. Got 2 of these way back when so think they have gone up in price quite a bit since then, hold 32 oz yeti and no spillage, fold away when not in use, and no breakage like with plastic holders, size adjustable. https://www.westmarine.com/boatmates-folding-cup-holder-7698731.html
  2. Sad to say we also belong to that club. Tank showed about 1/4, Aladdin said could go 154, trying to save a few pennies we were headed to the next exit that was over state line. All of a sudden said 50 miles then zero. Outside temps in the 90's, on the side of the road with 18 wheelers wizzing by. Had Coach net. Brought gas and tried multiple times to get it started. Was just about to quit when it started. Don't ever want to repeat that again. We fill up now when it gets just below 1/2. Recently had to replace the sending unit sensor, but still don't trust the gauge, and fill up long before gets to 1/4.
  3. Assume this is allowed. We had wood flooring put in our Monaco by Ernie Ekberg in Texas (not diagonal). His son has his own site and has done a number of coaches (including a few Monacoes) on the diagonal, I think it looks great from his pics. You can join his facebook page and scroll through a lot of his pics here... https://www.facebook.com/groups/1145315955826540/media HTH.
  4. So, for people visiting the state of California which we did yearly till Covid, does this have any affect on us, as we have a 40 ft and wt is 38,000?
  5. At one time I thought someone who had a machine shop manufactured that fitting and was selling them....but it is a memory thing, not so good these days.
  6. Another vote for Coach.net. Have been there a few times with our coach in our times of need. As a side note, another program I knew a little about but am now in the midst of using is the FMCAssist. It is a benefit as a member of FMCA. It is emergency medical evacuation and repatriation coverage available to members worldwide as long as you are more than 75 miles from home. While camping in Wisconsin my husband had an ATV accident and broke his collar bone, 4 ribs and hip socket. He is unable to put any weight on his right leg for 12 weeks, or raise his right arm above his shoulder for at least 6 weeks after pin and plate surgery. He cannot drive for 12 weeks or longer, and cannot even physically get in the coach. The assist program is helping to fly us home to Georgia, and hire a driver to drive our coach and toad back(I cannot drive coach, and people on the road would not want me too, 🙂. There have been a few bumps in our dealings, but I would have been totally lost trying to figure all this out, as well as his hospitalization and surgery so far from home.......................well worth the $50 membership fee........something else to consider as a "newbie".
  7. Had our carpet replaced with engineered wood by Ernie.........love it and would never go back to carpet. He and his son do great work. You can see pics on their facebook pages of coaches they have done.
  8. Tried to see it, but says link is broken. Would love to see it and info on where you got it or how you made it.
  9. Well, that will be a sad day for us. Main reason we got our big rig was to travel to California to see our daughter who lives there at least once a year. Hoping out of state gets an exemption.
  10. Purchased our 03 Dynasty in 2013, replaced our Refrigerator in 2015 due to all the fire hazard warnings and wanted piece of mind. Put in a Samsung for the size and also worked with the inverter, something about a Sine wave (I cannot remember, getting old). Best change out we did, we don't dry camp. Turn on the refrigerator, and 2 hours later it is up to temp and can start loading food, sometimes cannot get a site that really level and that is no longer as big an issue.
  11. Did a bunch of research back in 2018 because our mirror arms and bases were in terrible shape on our 2003 Dynasty. Most people that reordered from Velvac complained of same peeling problems again on their "new" ones in a short period of time. We too went with Space Coast and they did an amazing job. Our new arms and bases have been on since Feb 2018 and look as good as the day we received them. Cannot say enough about Space coast. Great communication, excellent work! I will try an attach pics if I can, but would recommend them 100% if you want to stay with the chrome option.
  12. We have the Magna Shade and love it. Definitely helps to keep the front of the coach cooler. Easy to take down and put up, and my husband did not want any snaps added to the coach, so this was the way to go. Had an internal brand that you attached with suction cups and was very difficult to put up with all the cabinetry and shades up front, and were not as effective. We have had ours for a few years, so cannot remember what the fabric was when purchased, but has held up well.
  13. Yes, that is the bulb we purchased. No issues with it.
  14. We ordered the same handle recently for our 2003 Dynasty. My husband had replaced the light once already, but ours had a lot of crazing/cracking...so for cosmetic reasons replaced it with the one below. Was the same as our except the original had the Monaco design and word slightly engraved into the handle and then black "painted in" where as the new one is not recessed.
