  1. Have you looked into having your original hydraulic pump rebuilt? Is it the electrical end, or hydraulic end that's not working? If the electric end, most electric motor rebuilder should be able to fix it. I'd try a place that rebuilds starters.
  2. I think your best options are Penguin II or Blizzard NXT. They were in short supply after Covid but should be readily available now. I bought a new Blizzard NXT a few months ago on Amazon. You will also need to update the thermostat.
  3. Check the push in circuit breaker on your inverter. The inverter is mounted to the basement ceiling in the main basement compartment. If that doesn't work,. p[perform an inverter reset.
  4. Patch or replace the tube. They're just PVC. Then prevent the tube from moving. Maybe place some foam between it and the bracket and zip tie it with heavy duty ties.
  5. I assume you have the Dometic 5 button thermostat? Try a thermostat reset. Turn the black bottom slide switch off. Depress and hold down the top and bottom buttons (mode and zone) on the front simultaneously, then slide the bottom on/off switch on. You'll see FF in the readout. Hope this helps.
  6. The exhaust pipe on these coaches exits the turbo and runs down the drivers side and then goes under the engine oil pan to the passenger side rear corner. Usually the trailer hitch cross member protects the exhaust pipe but it is possible to scrape it. Raise the coach up manually (engine running for air pressure) using the HWH air ride panel on the drivers left side. Then go look under the rear and see if the pipe is smashed.
  7. I had a friend with an early Monaco Windsor. He purchased a used entire front axle with disc brakes and swapped it. He also had to change front wheels to clear the calipers.
  8. Yes, if your coach needs paint the body shop will just use a DA sander to remove film and paint. It may take him an extra sandpaper or two but it will be gone in 10 min.
  9. You can use a steam gun with plastic razor blades and softener chemicals. Or, some have used a 3000psi pressure washer to cut and break up the film. Then use chemicals to remove the resin. You can use the 3M adhesive remover, one of the citrus adhesive remover, or one of the other solvents available. If the paint is dull or damaged it's best to have the area repainted. (Don't even bother removong the film). Almost always the tops of the front and rear caps need painting anyway. Good luck!
  10. I installed a manual hot water shutoff on our Windsor. The heater hoses are up front above the generator. It really helped the dash A/C. Good luck with your new coach.
  11. You're playing with fire, literally!
  12. Yes. Our Aqua Hot also has the relays inside the Aqua Hot enclosure in the basement.
  13. With it only plugged into a 15 amp outlet I doubt you'll get it started. You could hook your truck up with jumper cables and try charging for a couple of hours. But you would still be better off trying to start the generator first. The generator will provide full power to the entire system and allow your inverter to charge your house batteries. The problem here is the inverter charges the house batteries first. Then after the house batteries reach a preset voltage, it will charge the chassis batteries.
  14. I'd start with 40psi in the tag axle pressure regulator. 115psi in the front tires, 100psi in the drive tires, and 90 in the tag tires. That should get you close. When you get to the Cat scale your goal is to load the tag axle enough (by increasing or decreasing the tag pressure regulator) to keep the drive axle under it's limit without putting the front axle over it's limit. Really watch the front axle weight as these coaches tend to run very heavy on the front.
  15. This place in Yuma AZ does nice work. https://www.rvdecor.com/
  16. Is it plugged into a 50 amp RV outlet? If not, the best method would be to remove the chassis batteries and have them charged and tested. Then hopefully you can get your generator started and the inverter online to charge the house batteries. Depending on how your generator is wired (house or chassis battery) you may have to use the boost switch next to the driver. Good luck!
  17. These are 12v fans. Check the automotive fuses either in the bathroom or closet (wherever they are located on your coach).
  18. If your original Penguin A/C units have been replaced the drain cups are a different design and the old ones will not fit. It's up to the installer to order the new style drain cups and many times that doesn't happen.
  19. These door handles and locks were made by Trimark Corporation. https://www.trimarkcorp.com/en/zCategoryIndustries.aspx?intcategoryid=176&topcategoryid=175 You may have to find one that's close and then mix parts to repair yours.
  20. Maybe time for one of the new Delco gear reduction starters. They require less amps and turn the engine over much faster.
  21. I've had to replace the 3-2 trailer taillight converter on our coach. I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051NNUHQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  22. I replaced and resealed our clearance lights. The trick is to use a pair of hemostats to hold the original wires while you cut and splice the new lights on. Good luck!
  23. Villa International manufactured the captains chairs and furniture for Monaco diesel coaches. http://villainternational.com/
  24. The Aqua hot has two heater hose sized coolant hoses that come from the engine. They are used to preheat either the engine, or to heat the Aqua Hot boiler when driving. You'll have to remove the Aqua Hot cover to access them.
  25. Maybe install it with some panel adhesive. Last time I checked the original porch light was still available.
