  1. On the Signature, Executive, and Navigator the dash A/C condenser and fan are up on the front firewall just behind the front axle. The fan should run anytime you have A/C or Defrost selected, and the pressure sensor calls for it. It could also have a bad compressor or low refrigerant and the fan would run constantly.
  2. I ordered mine from Sue at Veurinks RV. https://www.veurinksrv.com/ 616 281-5111
  3. As far as I know Monaco and Cummins did not use an oil filled motor mount. But, there is a breather low on the passenger side of most Cummins engines installed in motorhomes and it will certainly blow oil out down there.
  4. Wow, congratulations Frank! I am impressed. Is Brett's (now Jim's) coach back up and all systems working? And should I put 2008-2009 Signatures back on my shopping list? Again, we are so lucky to have Frank as a resource.
  5. I'd go to 2027 and have them inspected.
  6. Yes, it has several quarts in the cooler, lines, and PTO. Make sure you use TES 295 or the newer TES 668 fluid. By the way, I think you have the best year Signature available.
  7. No. Not an immediate concern. Was it warmed up and on level ground? Total capacity of the system is 48 quarts.
  8. Paul's coach has a Cummins ISX 525. Frank is on the right path.
  9. Bill, when the time comes to replace your old middle or rear A/C you will need to make some choices. The new A/C units are not compatible with the old 5 button thermostat. You can replace both A/C units with new and use a new 10 button thermostat. You can try to find a retrofit control board for your new A/C and use it with your old 5 button thermostat, but these boards have been difficult to find. You could move the front A/C to the back and then pair it with a new A/C and your 10 button thermostat. Then move your remaining old A/C and 5 button thermostat to the front so it is operating by itself. Hope this helps.
  10. Your center A/C has a remote thermostat located either in the bathroom or the kitchen/living room. They are round white plastic vent covers with 2 screws holding it to the wall. Your front A/C was replaced from the original and has the new style Comfort Control thermostat.
  11. You can order the replacement barrel key on eBay and the Trimark key from Trimark. For the ignition, you'll have to remove the key cylinder and take it in, or call an automotive locksmith.
  12. Did you have the fuel filters changed at Speedco? If so, you probably had air in the fuel line after servicing. Hopefully by cycling the key you have removed all the air. It sounds like the start problem uncovered a poor connection or bad solenoid. I would clean all the engine start battery cables, especially the one that attaches to the frame. If that doesn't fix it, then change the solenoid.
  13. Monaco used captain's chairs and furniture from Villa International in the diesel coaches. I was able to contact Villa and order a replacement set. But they were expensive. Do your chairs have the seatbelt built into the chair? If so, it limits your choices. If doing this again I would find a good upholstery shop and have the chairs recovered.
  14. Tires and tire pressures can change fuel mileage by very small amounts (.1 mpg or so), but not by the amount you're seeing. Either the math is wrong or something serious is happening. Hope you figure it out.
  15. The early Aqua Hot units have the freshwater copper loop wrapped around the outside of the boiler tank. They are very vulnerable in freezing conditions, especially the bottom section near the Aqua Hot exhaust exit (see left side of picture). The electric side of your Aqua Hot is very limited. After a few hours it may supply enough hot water to do dishes but not enough for a shower or to heat the inside of the coach. If you can store the coach inside somewhere that would work. I've tried using a small electric heater in the Aqua Hot compartment along with a 100w bulb in the tank dump section. Last year my Aqua Hot developed a leak in the freshwater loop. It may have been from rubbing or possibly from freezing. Your A/C units should have a large foam filter under each unit. You access the filter by lowering the inside decorative cover. Some folks remove the foam to improve airflow as it's only recirculating inside air.
  16. Wow! Beautiful pictures. Thanks for posting.
  17. Over 100 pages of steering box info including contact names at Weller and part numbers. Steering Box Play- Sheppard M100 SHIM or Swap for a TRW ? - iRV2 Forums
  18. Yes. In your second picture you see a screw slot stud with a lock nut on it. Center the steering, loosen the lock nut, and turn the screw stud in slightly. Re-lock the nut and test. Monaco used both Sheppard and TRW steering boxes. If you have a Sheppard I'd replace it with a TRW. There is a long thread on IRV2 in the Monaco section. Weller truck parts sells replacement steering boxes just for this application. More detail. The one in the video uses an Allen hex to adjust and most heavy vehicles use a screw slot.
  19. The countertops and most of the showers from Monaco are Dupont Corian. It's fairly easy to work with.
  20. The only issue we had with 50 hertz was our American clocks and timers ran 10 min slow per hour. This was a problem on the washing machine.
  21. Wow that's an interesting combination. When we lived in the UK we had three 2k transformers as well as several small ones. Seemed to work well. I wonder how the UK ended up with 50 hertz.
  22. Monaco purchased the front axle as an assembly. There is a tag on the front axle that will help decode all the parts included. Our front brakes are Bendix ABD22X. Yours may or may not be the same. Bendix ADB22X Disc Brakes (Front).pdf
  23. Both of the Aqua Hot systems we've owned have had soft lines from the enclosure opening to the pump. They are much easier to service than hard line systems.
  24. Set zone 1 to the mode you want by using the Mode button to cycle through Off to Cool or Furnace. Then set the desired temperature. Then switch to zone 2 and set it up similarly. If zone 2 blows hot air when you have Cool selected the unit may be bad. Or, if it's a heat pump model the reversing switch may need replacing.
