  1. Not knowing what exactly is the problem, hard to give any advice to a solution. I would first start with the relay switch on the pump/motor to make sure that is not the problem. Common failure point and fairly simple fix. If no joy there, then the electric end on the pump would be next. The pump/motor runs such a short period of time, that is an unlikely failure point. Not to say that it does not fail, but I would be sure to rule out the other components before throwing money at it. Ask the tech specific questions concerning the components, making sure he has checked them before committing to a new pump. Hope this helps.
  2. I built some 2x10 wood ramps to get the coach up in the air to do under carriage maintenance. Start with a longer piece for the bottom, then the next one a little shorter, and so on. I just screw them together. I have some that are stacked with 4, 2x10’s. Gives you about 7 inches of clearance. Ideally, once coach is up on ramps, some jack stands placed underneath as backup is a good idea. Hope this helps.
  3. Yes it would. Had the exact same situation as stated in original post, replaced air governor, worked like a charm.
  4. The air governor is probably your problem. They are not that expensive. Here is what you need, Bendix Or275491 - D-2 Air Brake Compressor Governor Hope this helps.
  5. Try this, they are not an exact fit, have been slightly modified. Spoilerlights.com. Third Brake Light Alternative | Type: SL-84013
  6. Circuit Board in the Front Run Bay. Front Run Bay is located outside, under driver position. Good luck.
  7. Yep, that Big Boy will get you if you are not on top of it!
  8. There is also a relay switch mounted on the pump motor itself. It will work intermittently then quit all together. It will have a band clamp going around the motor. These are used on dump trailers if you need to source one. Hope this helps.
  9. If they are flapping, I usually retract the slides until the wind dies down. It’s kind of a pain, as coach should be at full ride height before retracting, but better than replacing toppers. Hope this helps, good luck!
  10. Is the bedroom location the only one that does not work? If all switch locations don’t work, then check the plug on the generator itself. I have inadvertently disconnected mine running the generator slide in and out, by hooking the plug on the framing as it was going by. Hope this helps, good luck.
  11. My 07’ Marquis will retract the slides with engine running. This allows me to get to full ride height, then retract the slides without shutting down engine.
  12. The switch has a button on it to release the knob. Wiggle the knob as you press the button and it should pop out. Hope this helps, good luck!
  13. Looks like a Flare-It fitting, https://www.acehardware.com/departments/plumbing/pipe-fittings/pex-fittings/4165684?store=14420&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADtqLJHS2w7-aY7PR4j7w5VgXrqk-&gclid=CjwKCAiArLyuBhA7EiwA-qo80FVuV6KQnJFZOeFTQqzohgHzLZWJWOpC5l4b_1biML7Yn_Owz95sMBoCkoEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds. As Jim said, any big box store will have it. Hope this helps, good luck.
  14. Wow, thanks Frank. Never knew that was there! My eyes are not what they used to be. Will give it a try and see what happens!
  15. Very interesting, same refer, same symptoms. My ice maker is always off, arm up. Will have to dig into this specific refer a bit more. Thanks for the info!
  16. This has been happening to me also. Recently pondering equalizing house batteries due to perceived underperforming house battery capacity. With inverter on, what I did was disconnect most of the AC load, including residential refer, and let sit for 2 days and then measured battery voltage. Readings were 12.5-12.6 range implying to me batteries were sufficient. What puzzles me is why Aladdin shows 100 amp discharge occasionally, until I shut off residential refer breaker, then back to normal. I considered the refer has a defrost heater that may be malfunctioning and drawing excessive amps when going into defrost mode. In reading Al’s post, I see he also has a 2007 Beaver as I do, and am now wondering if this may be a problem common to our similar year coach. Getting ready to leave on a trip tomorrow and hoping to maybe figure out what is going on. Will keep an eye on things and will report back with any findings.
  17. Not sure 2003 Executive model has the Big Boy/Bird system.
  18. Do you have a battery isolator? Chassis lug and house lug are within inches of each other. That’s where I hooked mine up on my 02’ Marquis . Hope this helps, good luck.
  19. This is the one I use, https://www.amazon.com/Solder-Heavy-Duty-Concentrate-Desulfator-Reactivator/dp/B004DJCS2M/ref=asc_df_B004DJCS2M/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312430092407&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12954903828794155486&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9029187&hvtargid=pla-569344398416&mcid=d9135b1ddce43948a8243b14e50ba3de&gclid=CjwKCAiA_OetBhAtEiwAPTeQZ8aDYRKfzOEr0cts-4C9YwFP4QbnM29lIUMV7E-8GXB0-Wg8nVCJJBoCfvAQAvD_BwE&th=1 If the battery has not froze, this will restore it, have used it many times with excellent results.
  20. I drive up on four 2x10 ramps under the drivers. This gives me enough clearance to take off the tag wheel after raising tag. I also do one side at a time. Good luck, be careful!
  21. Considering equalizing 4, 4D Lifeline AGM house batteries. My Magnun Inverter/Charger has the equalize mode so no problem there. What I was wondering is, do the starting batteries combine with the house side during the equalizing process, and is this some thing I should do? I have the Big Boy combining system, so disconnecting the Big Boy wouldn’t be an issue to isolate the two battery systems. Also, I have a 30 amp service where I store my motor home. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  22. Also, make sure the sensors are seated on the tone rings. All it takes is a light tap to seat them. Hope this helps.
  23. Have you considered low oil pressure, or wrong oil viscosity. Both are critical to proper operation of hydraulic lifters. Seems to me all the mechanical and electrical pieces have bee addressed. Do you have an oil pressure gauge or a light? Might try a mechanical gauge if only a light, to verify good oil pressure. Hope this helps.
