  1. I was just at a FMCA a rally in Oklahoma . They had an Aqua hot service guy there. I’ve always done my own service in the past, but decided to have them service it this time. My canister chamber was cracked and had to be replaced. And they had one on their truck. They also have replacement units. For $6900. They take your old one out and replace it with a rebuilt one. The guys name is DeGerald services 501-258-8426. www.lloydsrvheating.com. They’re out of Paron Arkansas. Seems like a nice guy. He said I could call him anytime if I had any issues.
  2. I reversed my slide topper material four years ago still looks good today. That wasn’t my intent when I started the project I just wanted to see if I could get the material off before I ordered new material. That’s when I discovered the material on the roller looked like brand new.
  3. Does anybody have the Garnet sea level 2 tank monitoring system? It’s the Bluetooth version with only one monitor . I have an app on my phone that shows me the tank levels. I’ve had mine for about 3 years now. I only monitor fresh water, gray water, black water, and battery voltage. The first year I had it the monitor went bad and it was still under warranty. They sent me a new one and it has worked up until now. Now the monitor works but the Bluetooth app doesn’t. I’ve talk to technical support and they say there’s something wrong with the monitor. It’s not connecting to the Bluetooth. And it’s out of warranty and they want me to buy a new one. Anybody else out there experience this problem? Thanks Kevin
  4. Yes, the ceiling is insulated. Why are there vents in the cover if you’re supposed to close it off?
  5. Sorry for the confusion I’m not having any problems. I’m in the process of replacing my 17 year old whirlpool residential refrigerator. Six months ago the icemaker quit working now the refrigerator stopped cooling. It’s time to go. I am replacing it with a KitchenAid KRSC703HPS. I’ve removed the old one by removing the doors to the refrigerator and taking it out the front door of the RV. I checked that extra plug shown in the picture for voltage. No AC or DC I’m assuming it was pre-wired for something else. I have made a of couple modification to the new install. I added a filter to the backside of the vent. When I remove the old refrigerator, there was a lot of dust and dirt behind it. This should help. I also added a half inch piece of insulated styrofoam board to the outside wall. Thanks, Kevin.
  6. Hello, i’m replacing my residential refrigerator. When I removed the old one I found this plug behind the refrigerator. Does anybody know what it’s for?
  7. I had that problem when I first purchased our coach. My fill hose had a pressure reducing valve that was faulty. I took it off and everything worked.
  8. I’m pretty sure it’s aluminum tubing and it’s riveted in. When I get back to Kc, I’m gonna go to Metal by the Foot and see if they have anything like that.
  9. Hello, I have a 2006 beaver patriot thunder. And one of the fins off my Radiator grill fell off while traveling through Oklahoma. I’ve looked on this forum and other forums and can’t find anybody that’s had this issue. Thanks Kevin
  10. I bought mine on eBay in 2019 looks like they’ve doubled in price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/162672956424?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=hHUIV1TTTxm&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=62VzCvhCR1m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  11. If you have any built-in water filters you should remove them Before adding the bleach.
  12. I had the exact same problem about a month ago. I had my wife inside the coach while it was running to tell me if the buzzer went off. As I was filling it I heard a clicking noise must’ve been the switch that activates the alarm immediately after that she was yelling that the alarm went off. I hope yours is that simple.
  13. I have to take my door apart at least once a year and spray everything down with silicone spray. Sometimes it doesn’t last a year and I get away with spraying silicone in and around the door handle and the door latch.
  14. I bought one at Radiator Supply House1460 47TH AVENUESWEET HOME, OR 97386 . That was two years ago still going strong.
  15. Mine is located in the cabinet above the passenger seat
