Cut the hose and get a hose barb splice and clamps to stop it from leaking. When you get home have a new hose made and route it properly.

You have to call them because they will give you a new user name that you have to use. They are screwing everything up making many changes to part numbers and all.

Check your breakers on the generator. They are by the start switch on the generator itself. Stop using 20 amp shore power from your house, that will not run your AC because of the invertor/charger also drawing power. It takes about 20 amps or more just to start a roof mounted AC and about 13-17 amps continuous amps to run.

I just replaced mine on a 2007 diplomat. Should be the same size. It is a Gates Green Stripe 24920 are equivalent which I believe is a 1 1/4 ID. Make sure you use a wire spiral wound hose because you do not want it collapse.  It is stiff and hard to work with so make sure you order it long enough. I also suggest you order new heavy duty clamps.

I Just finished getting done. I removed the front #1 Penguin 13,500 BTU. On the 13,500 the control box is in the plenum like Frank's picture shows. I removed all the AC wiring from the box. I also removed P3,P4&P5 connections from the box. My front furnace works as it should in furnace mode without adding a new thermostat. My rear unit #2 still works in heat pump, AC and furnace mode as it should.
Note: the newer Penguin's 15,000 BTU has the control panel mounted to the roof under the shroud. It will need a different route to get it to work.

It is on drivers side between the wet bay and electrical bay. It takes a special kind of key to unlock it similar to the one below.

It should have shutoff valves already installed that the hoses are connected to.
