Very sad to learn of Ray’s passing. I always looked forward to reading his posts which provided so much great information and I appreciated his witty remarks. RIP Ray Davis 🙏

All single handle faucets have a cartridge. As stated by Donflem if it is a Moen they have a lifetime warranty. I’m not sure about Gerber faucets and any warranty. If you could find the faucet brand and model, you should be able to find a replacement part. A new cartridge should stop any leaking. While changing the cartridge be sure to use a good O-ring food grade silicone lubrication.

To take off the spout you will need a 7/32 allen wrench. The handles unscrew with a small strap wrench or if you are tossing the faucet you could use channel locks or a pipe wrench.
-
The handles unscrew by turning the wide part of the handle counter-clockwise and to remove the spout you need to remove the pop-up rod from the spout. Inside the hole for the pop-up rod is a screw that has to be turned counter-clockwise. This is an allen head machine screw. After removing the spout and handles you can unscrew the handle base escutcheons and then the base unit of the faucet should be able to be removed.

I had the same problem with our bathroom door in our ’01 Dynasty. Spring and fall it would catch on the bottom 1/4 of the strike side of door frame. Summer was fine, but DW did not want to put up with the problem so last spring I took off the door and used my power hand planer to shave the bottom 1/3 of the strike side and used a little stain and polyurethane to refinish. Door has worked fine since. BTW here on the north Oregon coast we run a dehumidifier full time.

I had a rear bedroom slide that moved in and out slowly, after checking under the slide I noticed the rollers digging into the carpet so I replaced the flooring and installed metal strips just where the rollers traveled. The slide moves steady in and out with no hesitation now.

The 2001 Dynasty has two solenoids on the salesman switch. After changing one solenoid and accidentally turning off the salesman switch several times I finally jumpered both solenoids by putting the large wires on the same post and disconnecting the small wires on each solenoid. No more problems losing lights and other 12V systems!

I checked the 12 volt fuse panel for the house circuits and noticed the top line states it is for the 2000 & 2001 Dynasty. I hope this pic helps.

Thank you for the info, I will put in in my coach file.

Very nice looking work. The new switch location sure makes a lot of sense. What color stain did you use to match the existing woodwork?
-
I like the idea of refurbishing the existing brackets as the holes in the coach will line up. Ivan K, nicely done! Thanks for the ideas.

I have the same issue on the ladder brackets on my '01 Dynasty. I have wondered where to look for new brackets, now I will try to refurbish the existing ones. Thank you DavidL and Tom Cherry!

Water Pump leaking at outlet - Can it be repaired?
StephenW replied to Joe Lee's topic in Water Systems
I have used Silicone Faucet Grease for years when repairing faucets and replacing O-ring's. It is food grade and waterproof and will last longer than Vaseline. Home Depot and Lowes sell a Danco product that looks good. -
The explanation I got was "I'm out of stock or the item is damaged." I appreciate a good deal, but like you say probably too good a deal. When I ordered there were 10 in stock, so I ordered the ten and got cancelled a couple days later. I guess I will have to pay the "big" bucks now. LOL

My order was also cancelled.

A couple of things I like about the Starlink system is that it can be moved around the campsite to find a good signal and automatically acquires the satellite signal. Luckily so far I have been able to leave it attached to an extending pole mounted to the roof ladder.

The brass fitting on the red water pipe is a vacuum breaker going to the black tank flushing system. Inside is a float disc that rises up to seal the air vent at the top. When putting water pressure into the vacuum breaker the valve should be opened fairly quickly to get the float disc to seal off, if opened very slowly the float disc may not pop up and could leak water out the air vent. The vent for the black ABS drain piping is a standard 1 1/2" pipe thread. As these vents are mechanical they will fail. As others have stated they just unscrew and are easily replaced with either Oatey or Studor brand AAV's. Because they will fail they are required to be installed in an accessible location. Good luck on your repairs.

Thanks Ivan K for the info on the Water Miser battery caps, I just ordered the last 10 he had listed. I am hoping he will restock so I can order the other 8 that I need.

When my Winegard quit working I switched to Starlink RV. When traveling, I activate the Starlink service and use our Spectrum home account which has a free streaming service. This way the DW doesn't miss any of her favorite shows. We also use a Roku streaming service. So far the Starlink has worked great. Also like Tom Wallis mentioned the internet is available so the DW can continue working remotely.

I would unscrew the plastic cylinder in the middle of the drain fitting and install a removable screen in the drain fitting.
