  1. There is also a mixing valve that is adjustable and set at the factory to provide the right hot water temperature. Mine was bad when I pulled the unit from the coach to rebuild. check if the heat zones come up to adequate heat on the furnace setting.
  2. The ECM does control several parameters of the ISM engine brake system. There is an oil line under the valve cover that can cause issues as well as the wire harness and connector going into the valve cover. Need to have a shop hook it up to a computer and see if the ECM is getting the high low signal.
  3. I believe my 01 Executive has to have the switch on that provides power to the storage bays for that light to work.
  4. The only thing I could think of is inverting the DC which you said is turned off?
  5. I have had the switches go bad resulting in loss of fixtures. Have you tested continuity across the switch?
  6. Ten minutes with a multimeter diagnosed one of the two domestic continuous duty solenoids is bad. Thanks for all the help. What a great group to be a part of. Going to bolt in coming power to the house distribution panel wire for now.
  7. The aqua hot and fridge are working. The 12 volt panel in rear closet wall has no label but all fuses appear good. Will pick up a meter to help pinpoint issue. Not sure if thermostats have direct supply. I suspect there will be no power at the distribution panel.
  8. Picking up a volt meter today. Camping gulf shores area for a week. Hopefully diagnose 12 volt house systems today.
  9. On my way to the 2023 gathering in Tampa and lost all 12 volt interior power at the camp spot today. Checked salesman switch, and in my 2001 executive there are two constant duty solenoids in rear run bay and both are physically clicking. Brought a tool box full of stuff but no multimeter. The only things getting 12 volts are norcold control panel and inside light. Aqua hot 12 volt switch light, but no 12 volt thermostat power so that is useless! And the 12 volt power antenna station to raise and lower the batwing is operational. The real kicker is the salesman switch does cut power to the power antenna control but not the fridge or aqua hot. Any ideas or help?
  10. Look up marine contura switches. This style rocker switch is used a lot in boats.
  11. Do you mean the light on the preheat button? The aqua system must be turned on and heated and then the preheat switch simply starts a circulating pump for the engine loop.
  12. I have a mixing valve that controls how hot the water gets. I replaced the valve when rebuilding my aqua hot. It sits below the diesel heater so access is by removing the covers.
  13. Just love James and all his great content.
  14. My 2001 Executive does not have inverted power to the fridge. It automatically goes to LP when shore power or generator is not supplying AC.
  15. until

Reservation completed. Unfortunately Some safety issues on the coach have come up and parts are back ordered. Regretfully we will not be able to attend this year. Was looking forward to meeting group members so this is a big disappointment.
  16. There is a power management system in place to evaluate demand and supply of electrical needs. your 110 should work on 30amp shore and even 20amp. If not something is wrong.
  17. Really makes a difference from cracked dried out leather.
  18. Ok now I understand. I've only driven my rig at night the day I purchased it and it was lit up like a Christmas tree, but useless on that madden voyage. He could just put a replacement switch in place that would light when in use?
  19. My 01 tag is just lit when tag is engaged. What's the reason for head light notification?
  20. That is a proper "drivability test" as we say in the automotive service industry! Factory service manual ah maybe.... logical diagnosis always leads to correct result. Believe me the right switch is available. Does it have a up position and down pull to it or is it in fact a single throw switch doing two functions. you mention 5 connection lugs on back side of switch. That's what the aqua hot switch I needed has. One ground two continuity poles.
  21. Sorry I just knew what I needed to operate the aqua hot. ,This is a common marine switch as well. Two Light's with double throw. Up for a function, down for a function. If you have truly determined its the switch find this in the marine line. The tag not lifting could be nothing to do with the actual switch itself?
  22. Got the correct switch from west marine model #17951666. it was the light in my old switch that was messing with the aqua hot controller. This switch has a separate lead for grounding the light function. The one that was in there used a diode internally to make the light work and even though I had good continuity on both circuits this was causing enough cross talk between them that the Aqua hot controller would not function correctly.
