2007 Diplomat cannot get rear zone 2 furnace to work
TigerMar replied to Coach J's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
Have you tried resetting the system using the thermostat ? -
Hi Mike, I have a 2008 Monaco Dynasty. The valve for mine is a 1/2 inch 8210G94 2way NC 12 VDC 40 PSI Asco valve. I have had to replace it. 1/2 8210G94 BRS 2-WAY NC 12 VDC 40 | Galloup On mine it is located behind the hose and electric reels accessed through sliding doors in the basement storage walls. Pretty easy to change out. Gary

That is what I did. I unscrewed the 4 star screws and carefully pulled out the controller. Then I unplugged the controller power and data connection, waited 30 seconds and plugged the data in first then the power. Worked for awhile (few months) but had to finally replace the controller. Good Luck!

Mine is located on the right side of the box, not the back. It is gold in color and kind if a rectangular box . Should have a label.

Hi Mike, My fuse is in the drivers side outside fuse bay. It is a square box like fuse. Is your leak coming from the air bag? I stopped using the pump as it is very loud. I pulled the fuse. What I do is use the auto level to get it level then I change to manual. Best, gary

I agree with Paul A. A water softener is a must for me. Installed one after my first valve was replaced. No issues since.

Hi Bob, On my 2008 Dynasty, the switch controls an electrical 2 way valve connected to the water system near the water pump. Mine failed and the water continued to run. I replaced mine with an identical valve, took the old one apart and found it to be clogged with rust, etc. you can also purchase a rebuild kit. I purchased mine from Galloup/ Smith instrument. Part # 8210G94 1/2 inch Brass 2 way NC 12VDC 40 PSI CV 4 ASCO valve. https://valvesandinstruments.com/asco-20247-3043068.html not hard to replace..

Question: Cummins (8.3) Chassis Battery Trickle Charger Recommendation
TigerMar replied to Bjohnsonmn's topic in Batteries
Hi Brad, I use the Battery Minder. I have 4 flooded lead interstate batteries in series and parallel at 420 amp-hour each. Been on for 6 months with no issue. I paid $169 which seems a little pricy, but got my recommendation on this forum. Haven't been disapointed. '08 Camelot TRAVEL Inflation problem
TigerMar replied to RustyTools's topic in Chassis, Handling, Tires & Brakes
Hi Ron, You can give Valid (they are in Canada) a call and ask for Lucus . I didn’t have the exact issue with mine, but similar on my passenger front. Lucus was exceptionally helpful. He can help diagnose the issue and supply any need parts. I replaced all 6 solenoids in the front 6 pack and one valve rod and seal as the valve on the passenger raise valve was leaking. This may be the problem with your ride height valve. Best, Gary -
Hi Brett, Yeah. Just re-read. I must have still been asleep. Thanks for the catch!

Hi Gary, Which slide? I had a roller go bad in my rear bedroom slide. I bought from Cass Hudson. They were great. They also had it at REV parts.. Best , gary m

As Dwight said, I got mine from Harbor Freight - 12 tons each and do the front and back one at a time. I also built 2 ramps stacked in a ramp shape they are about 9 in high and 5 feet long. Easy to drive up on. Cost about $60 in materials. I

Hi Connie, I believe they are Carling rocker switches. Do a google search for them. I have had to replace 2 of these in my dash. Got them on eBay. gary

Hi Mark, I have traveled this route on 3 trips from Flagstaff to Cortez to Pueblo on our way to Monument CO. I drive a 2008 Dynasty 425 Cummins towing a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. The only semi-tough summit is Wolf Creek, but I take it slow and it has always been relatively easy. I think that part of Colorado is well worth the time and effort, but that is MHO. What engine do you have in your Diplomat? Safe Travels what ever you decide! Gary

I noticed some mangled ba lack plastic on the floor in the coaches bedroom and upon close inspection found that the black nylon roller covering of the rear slide roller had been coming off the roller. I believe this is a “Happy Jack” slide system. Anyone replaced a roller on one of these. Thanks for any help, gary

Thank you all for your input. It is the battery temperature sensor for the solar. It’s a Heliotrope Controller sensor as Keven said. I looked up the wiring diagram for the controller and it is put between two batteries to get a temp. Again, thanks!
-
Hi Harvey, I thought that at first, but I have a magnum inverter that has a separate temp sensor which connects to one of the battery posts. thanks gary
-
Hi all, Wondering if anyone has seen a connection like this before? Changing out house batteries and I discovered this in the battery bay after removing old batteries. Was not attached to batteries as far as I could tell. thanks for any help

stop engine light comes on
TigerMar replied to D.Ellison's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
Hi Donnie, Not sure if yours I’d like mine. On my 2008 Dynasty on the left lower dash I have a set of push buttons to select what is displayed such as PSI, FUEL ETC. One of them is Diag. With the engine running push this button then select engine and it will run a diagnostic and return error codes if they exist. gary -
It looks to me as the ride height valve. Had one go out in my 2008 Dynasty while on the road. Right side went down. Are you camped? Did the leak begin when camping or on the road?

You are welcome and I agree!

You might also have a gear issue. Is this a Power Gear step (Lippert) ? I replaced my gears as they were worn down from the motor issue..
