  1. My Signature is new to me and I have learned so much from all the people here.much appreciated. In reading the above subjects I need to know what is a. ems and where where is it located ? Thanks.
  2. The black and gray tank each have their own sensor located in the sides of the tank at the bottom. At least on my signature. They get crusted over with time. You can try removing and cleaning them or replacing them. I believe they are still available. Mine are not reading correctly either. Too many other things need attention so it's on the back burner for now. Hope this helps
  3. Thank you will check it out looks good. I have had 3 items that the rubber got sticky one was my heat gun handle. I ended up putting saran wrap on the handle. Cheap fix.
  4. What would you consider a good tone tracer. I would like to purchase one but know nothing about them. thanks Richard Silcox
  5. It shouldn't be difficult to find a moen cartridge. But you could try soaking it in vinegar an water overnight thats what I did with my Grohe faucet because the cartridge replacement was so pricey. Works great now.
  6. My manual says to put slides out in travel mode. Then activate the air leveling system. We have been at this site with the coach level for 5 days. Today i brought the slide in and when I put it out I was going to stop it when the snap sound happened. Guess what no noise and went out smoothly. Is it not catching on anything when it is level? I think I still have a problem but if i put just this slide out after leveling I will be able to get by until I get home to FL. and have it checked out at Talin RV. Thanks. Richard Silcox
  7. The front ps is a flush floor slide and it is HWH system. I have not had any issues until now. I am in northwest michigan for the summer. No repair places around that I would trust. I will try to look for rollers today. Are there cables on each side that need to be checked? Thanks
  8. I have anew issue with my PS slide out .it is the13' kitchen slide. Always has worked well up until the last 2 times I have used it. When it was close to being all the way out there was a loud snap and finished opening. I brought it part way back in and extended it out no snap. When I was moving to another location it came in fine but whe we setup at our new site and put it out it there was the loud snap again before it finished going out. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to correct it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Richard Silcox
  9. My compressor was bolted to angle brackets. I made a aluminum box with a open top to slide over the air compressor and the brackets. I used longer bolts to hold the compressor in place and drilled 4 holes in the bottom of the box and slid it over the bolts and used washers an nuts to hold it in place. I also drilled 3 small holes in the bottom to drain any water that might happen to get in there.
  10. My tank was installed horizontally so I went with the original Jabsco. The less expensive tanks could only be mounted vertically and it would have been a lot of work to change the plumbing. It was a very congested space with Glendinning hose reel and power chord reel all in the water bay,
  11. There's a rv service in Sebastian FL. I think it is called Indian river rv. Bought a part there but haven't used their service department.
  12. The front hydraulic tank for the slideouts and levelors is a clear color oil. The rear hydraulic oil tank for the power steering an fan is red color oil. I need to add fluid after changing the filter. I purchased AW46 hydraulic oil and the color is clear. My question is can the two be mixed? Or do I have a different type of oil in the rear tank. Thanks Richard Silcox
  13. I just removed my Big Boy relay and cleaned the contacts and reinstalled. All is working fine again. I did purchase one from Amazon an will be keeping it as a spare as parts are getting scarce. I do have a word of caution when doing the removal. As suggested I unhooked shore power, turned off inverter, an both battery switches. I got surprised taking out a bolt when my socket touched a copper bar sparks flew. I ended up removing the negative cables on the house batterys. This forum has helped me so much with all my fixes maybe this will help someone . Thanks
  14. I have hit another snag with my air compressor project. I had to remove the clear plexiglass cover from the HWH control box that was held in place with a rubber gasket. I an my friend have tried our darntes to get it back on with no luck. Has anyone had to do this before, sure could use some pointers. Of course its in a difficult spot in the generator compartment. Thanks Richard Silcox
  15. I put in a new relay yesterday and I now have 12 volts on the red wire where the air compressor connects. Now to reinstall the air compressor. I also am installing a enclosure to protect the air compressor. Thanks for all your help!
  16. I removed my Thomas air compressor and to inspect an see if it would run. It does run when I bench tested it. Problem now is there is no 12 volt coming to the pump. The control board is in the generator compartment in a box with a clear plastic cover. There is a yellow led on and the manual says check 15 amp fuse and the fuse is good. Would the next step be to try new relay and if that doesn't work what would be my next move? Thanks Richard Silcox
  17. When I remove my air leveling compressor do I need to drain both air tanks first or will the air compressor inline check valve keep the pressure up? I have the HWH air leveling system. But no airline drawings. I have hydraulic jacks also, so I willl be using them along with my jack stands to support the chassis while I am under the coach. thanks
  18. I am going to remove my compressor in a few days as I have not heard in run in some time. I have not been able to find a fuse. It is the original and it looks very dirty. Could you give some pointers on removing it what to check for when I get it out. I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Richard Silcox. Ps mine is located above the rear axel
  19. The refrigerator is off while in storage. I am wondering if it might be the water fill valve after reading many articles. Not able to see a access to it from the driverside outside access panel. In the videos I have watched they had a removable panel but mine doesn't. Was hoping for a easy fix. Thanks. Richard. Silcox
  20. The ice maker quit making ice on our rescent trip to the Monacoers rally. It had not been used since our last trip 3 months ago. I pushed the reset/test button an the motor ran but still no ice. Has anyone else had the same problem? The water valve for the ice maker is on. Thanks for your help. Richard Silcox
  21. I didn't realize there was a pressure regulator for the tag axle until I started checking for air leaks. One of my air leaks was the supply line to the regulator. My regulator pressure is 30 psi seems low from what I am reading. Is there a recommended psi setting? Thanks. Richard Silcox 2006 Signature
  22. Glendinning has the rcl cablemaster motor #wp150-01 at their online store for $112.00 so far that's all I have found.
  23. I am still looking at glendinning have a difference in part # from online store an their tech gave me. Also waiting to hear back from Amequipment.
  24. My thanks to Paul A. There are sliding panels in the basement area to the left of my service center which is a big help. Even have access to Amtrol tank to check air pressure only to find out the bladder is bad. Will have to replace tank. Still trying to get motor off of chord reel very tight in there. Thanks
