  1. Had my first blowout a few months back, was in the middle of nowhere on some backroads. Initial call to coach-net went great, they followed up with me every step of the way and kept me informed. Was back on the road with a new tire in a few hours.
  2. Finally got the door open after I stuck an inspection camera up there. I will readjust the linkage next so it doesn't happen again.
  3. Have a 1999 Monaco diplomat. The top latch won't release, the bottom works fine. I've tried the trick of pushing in to release tension before pulling back. I was able to get the inside panel over the handle off to access the mechanism, I've tried with pliers and channel locks to pull down on the rod going up to the top but it doesn't move anymore than what the handle makes it move. I'm not sure what else to do and I don't want to break anything or make it worse. Just as fyi about 2 years ago I had to adjust the linkage since the top wouldn't release unless I pushed in before trying to open it but this time same trick isn't working. I've watched the youtube from AZ experts and still unable to get the top to release.
  4. Understood, thanks for sharing the info. There is a wooden trim piece at the top and bottom but they don't seem to have any screws holding them in, did they use a glue or how would I go about removing those wood pieces? Also when you removed the glass did it come out in pieces or how tough was the adhesive? I'd like to salvage the good glass and replace the broken pieces if possible.
  5. Have a 1999 Monaco Diplomat 38a. My wife hung a easter decoration on the mirror where the slide comes in and its broken 4 of the 7 pieces. What kind of options do I have to repair it? I'm not even sure how to get to the glass that's in the corner as the slide wall and cabinets are in the way for the bottom half of the glass? My carpentry skills are almost non-existent lol. Thanks Jason

  8. I have a Sharp Carousel R-1850a convection microwave in my 1999 monaco diplomat 38a. The plastic bezel around the control panel is all broken in pieces, the selector buttons are broke/fell out and the open button mounting point is broken off. I've googled, searched ebay and called Vison RV salvage for the part and I'm not having any luck. Does anyone have any resources or ideas for finding the part? As a last resort I could replace the unit with a Sharp R1874T for 600 from amazon but I really don't want to spend that much to solve what seems to be a simple problem. I've looked here: https://encompass.com/model/SHAR1850A https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Touchpad/FPNLCB153MRK0/1913678 https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/microwaves/sharp/r1850a.html last resort if I can't find the plastic parts is to replace the entire unit https://www.amazon.com/Sharp-R1874T-Convection-Microwave-Stainless/dp/B00009V3X6/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
