  1. Brad, I've decided to add a 3" bilge air pump that runs with the ignition on to vent the battery compartment, it might be overkill so I've also found a smaller squirrel cage air ventilation fan, but I assume if I keep sucking air out of the compartment it'll be fine. Will try to post a picture when done. Leaving for Alaska on Saturday hopefully I get to it in time. Anand
  2. Sorted this out, there were two wires shorting on the left turn signal only.
  3. Thanks Richard - Something is definitely miswired, but hopefully something simple. Still trying to make some progress here. I think my 2007 is similar to your 2006 dynasty. My headlights are from a 2004 F-150; I have the replacements, just seem very complicated to get out on the passenger side. Anand
  4. Scott, As always thank you for the detailed post and for taking the time to give me some direction. I'm at the coach tomorrow and will test all the things you suggested. I was aware from the '21 responses that the hazard activity was normal, but didn't notice the turn signal issue until last week for whatever reason. The coach has an additional brake controller; It also has the tow different two wiring setups I put in the BAC post. Yes, the four red in the tail light stacks, the two amber, and the center LED (of which half are burned out and I can't find a replacement of the same size) all flash with the hazards on. The coach also has aftermarket headlights which I have been meaning to change, but the right light seems like a PITA to remove with the air horns in the way, as it looks like I need to remove the brackets from the inside to get the lights out. I'll check and see if they blink differently. Will report back tomorrow. Thanks again. Anand
  5. Thank you all for the thoughts here, sounds like I need to go spend some hours tracing some wires, will start with the brake switch and the flasher circuits, perhaps there is some miswiring at the tail lights or in the trailer connections. Previous owner had installed a second trailer socket that could be the source of the problem. Anand
  6. Hi All, I have a 2007 Beaver Marquis. I'm trying to figure out if this is normal: when I hit the brakes with the turn signals on or the hazard blinkers, the signals stop and go solid with the brakes. It does not do this when the Jake kicks in an triggers brake lights. Is this how it is supposed to be? I'd think the turn signals still blink when I'm coming to a stop and to make a turn, and/or the hazards would still be blinking when I come to a stop. Not the end of the world, but bugs me. Thanks, Anand
  7. Frank - I did pump RV antifreeze through the hot side - I did follow someone's instructions. Air through the cold side, rv antifreeze through the hot side, and antifreeze in all of the p-traps. Thought I had it right. Didn't rush, ran about 5 gal of antifreeze. 🙂 Still looking like an expensive lesson. The Aquhot fired up fine and the hot side of all of the pipes seemed to work fine. No leaks I could see or hear or from the AH. Anyone know if there is a 14 port manabloc available that has the 7 cold 7 hot? and oriented with the cold on the left (though I'm guessing that is reversible). Keep finding 8 cold 6 hot. Anand I do think the bottom of the manibloc ends up being lowpoints. I drained all the low and left them open as I aired... next time I'll antifreeze both sides.
  8. Hi All This thread has been super educational, and perhaps pointed out some of my own ignorance. I have my DC-DC (Renogy OEM - Wudnum) mounted in my upper battery tray. It is really the only place I could put it. But I'm now concerned with the three SLA batts in the tray below. The battery compartment has a vent / hole in the top left corner where several cables come through, not sure that is enough venting but would love some advice as I'm worried now about vented gases and the DC-DC - worst case I'll kill the DC DC (I have it switched) - but we are off to Alaska soon and don't want to leave without being more clear about this situation. Pic attached. Also not sure why I'm posting here as Exekia. Usually post as anand.s; I must have used a different email address. Thanks in advance and for all of the help on this forum. Anand
  9. Hi All, I de-winterized today, and behold clearly did not winterize well, despite pushing air a 45psi till all faucets came out with air only. Water filter under sink had burst and several of the Manabloc valves (or the manifold itself is leaking). Looked up videos on Youtube and it seems the valve spindle is pretty easy to replace, but wanted some advice based on what you see in the pic - seems it could very well be valve seals / rings but want to be sure it isn't a cracked manifold post valve. There is a drip coming from the third one p on the right, but all three bottom ones on the right spew when opened and the 2nd up on the left also spews in a similar fashion. All advice appreciated. 2007 Beaver Marquis. Thanks. Anand
