  1. If your executive is like my dynasty, the penguin is the only one that will fit without doing major rework to the ducts.
  2. Yeah I will keep the old thermostat out of the rear for in case the front fails.
  3. Crawled up to the roof to fix the squirrel cage rubbing, checked the dipswitchs, furnace one was off, flipped it on, crawled down to verify noise was gone and check operation. All good now.
  4. The front A/C was replaced in 2018, the new unit I ordered is the same part number that was on that receipt. High Capacity Penguin II no heat pump. I misunderstood the zone situation, but I understand it now. Ignore the front completely then. The issue in the rear is I have no furnace or heat option on the micro air. I'm guessing it's a dipswtich issue in the A/C unit based on what you said, so I will crawl up and check that.
  5. So the rear unit, I have two of the phone cables coming out, which were both hooked up. In the front I have 2 spots for them but only 1 cable that was hooked up.
  6. Start with this a 2003 Monaco Dynasty Legacy, 2 Roof airs, aquahot furnace. Had the rear roof air(original to coach) started making lots of noises and eventually died. My front roof air was replaced in 2018. Coach has 2 5 button thermostats. Now we rarely use it when it's cold enough to need the furnace but I want to keep everything operational. Front thermostat only shows 1 zone but if I flip it to furnace I have heat. If I hit the zone button it just blinks the number 1. Ordered and Installed a new Penguin II high capacity for the rear, knowing I would need the newer 10 button thermostat, those are on backorder, so I went ahead and purchased a micro air. A/C is wired as best I can tell how it was before and admittedly I'm unsure if this ever worked. But the micro air only shows 1 zone also and no furnace option. I no longer have the old a/c unit to check anything, but is my mixmatch of new and old thermostats causing my issue there? And Shouldn't I have 2 zones on at least one thermostat? Sidenote new Penguin A/C has the fan rubbing something that I need to fix because they are now on backorder.
  7. If your furnaces are on separate thermostats that simplifies things on that end, but if you have ducted air that's another issue. There is a post on here from someone who installed some, his consensus was if you have ducted air don't buy them too much work. I just had to replace my rear and I was looking into it, but I have aqauhot heat and ducted air, so it was worth the extra $600 I had to spend to not reinvent the wheel.
  8. What type of ductwork do you have? And what type of furnace do you have if any?
  9. On my 7500, there was a wire that had come loose Inside the case, it was just a spade terminal, it either wouldn’t start or wouldn’t stay running. I’m not sure if the 10k is the same. But I would also look at your fuel pump.
  10. I hate them, the shrink wrap melts before the solder half the time.
  11. I have this same issue so curious as to how to fix it also.
  12. I have two 5 button thermostats. One up front and one in the bedroom. So found the invoice this morning for front air, it's a 641816cxx1c0 High Capacity 15K Penguin 2, they must have installed the adapter board for the 5 button thermostat. So obviously the simplest route at this point is to buy that same unit and a new thermostat and I'll be ready to go?
  13. So our rear A/C died on one of the hottest days of the year for us so far. As far as I can tell it's a original Penguin 13.5 to the coach. I have the single center ductwork, it appears I'm pretty well stuck with buying a Penguin II because of the narrow bolt pattern correct? My coach has a aquahot furnace, though I've never used it. I was really looking at the Rec pro A3800s as I really prefer the dual motor design. But lining the outlet up with the ductwork looks to be a chore along with making the furnace work correctly. I would definitely like a bit more cooling, as were at the racetrack on blacktop most of the time. Also I'm on a sort of time crunch, next race is in St Louis in a couple weeks. I could drive to rec pro and pick up a unit as they are only 2-3 hours from me. I haven't found any dometics close. Also the front A/c Has already been replaced in 2018, with I assume a Penguin II? I have the invoice from the previous owner, so I'll check the part number. But they obviously didn't install the drain cups because it leaks off the roof. If I buy a 15k I thought about moving it up front and putting the newer 13.5 in the rear.
  14. I had to remove my front because it had gotten caught at one point and were all bent up. I tried straightening them with no luck. I’ve had no issues over the last year that way. I’m not paying $3000 for a new pair.
  15. That’s your caps pump or injection pump. I believe that line there goes from the accumulator to the pump.
