  1. Hope someone can advise. Monaco 2005 Knight. Small bedroom slide is off. From inside the bedroom facing the slide, the slide is out normal on left (and seals as it should), but not out completely out on the right side (about 3" away from the wall). Became an issue after I used the rear leveling jack on that side. How is this issue resolved? Thank you. Fred Monaco Knight 2005 // Jeep Wrangler 2001 Tow
  2. Recently I noticed a brown color liquid on my RV pad under the coach, rear passenger side. Directly to the rear of the mud flap. The liquid doesn’t have an odor or feel (viscosity). Seems like colored water. I notice it’s wet after a rain storm. No rain no wet. I run the engine in idle mode for 30 minutes. No drip. Nothing wet on the pad. I recently had the stop light come on while idling. I added coolant and have not seen the stop light since. Is this possibly a radiator leak?
  3. I just installed 6 new Michelin tires. 2 front. 4 rear. I want to set the PSI accurately. What is the recommendation? PSI cold. Thank you
  4. Recently while driving in slow traffic I received a low air alert. As soon as I was back on the interstate at 60mph everything was back to normal. In the morning as the rig was airing up I noticed it was taking longer then usual. And when it finally did air up completely the “blast” of air was prolonged. Not just a short blast as normal but a much longer blast duration. Any thoughts?
  5. I just learned, they do fly. Swarm, especially during the summer months. So spraying the tires, etc. won't completely resolve the problem. I doubt, now knowing this, they came up the tires.
  6. We’re on Hilton Head Island. Very woody. Damp. But I get it. Never considered termites need s a connection to the earth. Can’t fly etc. So stopping them shouldn’t be a problem. My concern is the ones alive in the coach now. And I saw them. Did this just start? I don’t know. Or have they been here a while. We saw the mud like tubes (for lack of a better word) about 6” long on the underside of the slide hanging down from the outside corner.
  7. The termites are definitely there. Little white wormy bugs. I saw them on the outside of the underside of the large living room slide. Terminix has treated the area. We live full time in the coach in a wooded RV community. The coach seldom moves. My significant other is an elementary school teacher. I have monthly Terminix service because we are permanent/stationary. Not fun I know. Regardless, my concern is termites in the walls, floors, etc. We have no idea how long this has been a problem.
  8. I was just told by my Terminix service guy, who services my coach for roaches etc, that I have termites in the coach. He then showed me where he saw some infestation. I was given an estimate of $7000 to tent and fumigate. Not in my budget. Has anyone had a termite issue in the coach and if so, how was it addressed? Fred / 2005 Monaco Knight / 2001 Jeep Wrangler
  9. I'm still in need of advice regarding this problem. I thought I had a repair tech who could do it, but yesterday he decided it was beyond his expertise. Again, the rear brake lights will not come on when applying the brakes. When I air up the coach, and first hit the brake pedal, the lights come on. Once. Then that's it. Never again until I turn off then back on. Again, I get one flash of the brake lights, then nothing after the first flash. Thank you
  10. I'm giving ample time between applying brakes for air to replenish. Start engine. It airs up full. I pump brakes ONCE. Works as it should. Wait 30 seconds to a minute, no lights. And seldom lights from that point on.
  11. Noticed last week, after not moving coach for months, coach break lights are not working properly. I start the coach. Let it air up fully. Check turn signals (which work fine). Pump brakes. Side brake lights, and the center brake light strip, all work on the first pump of the brakes. Then either nothing or intermittent. Shutdown engine, wait, start engine, same problem. Thought maybe the reply. Replaced. Did not resolve. Someone suggested the switch by the pedal? Not sure. Would appreciate help. Monaco Knight 2005. 107k miles. Thank you. Fred
