  1. Thanks to all of you for your patience. You all are why this forum is so helpful and successful.
  2. Ok thank you again Jim! I'll give it a shot.
  3. Thanks Jim for the links. My gut tells me to replace that section of tube because it is coming into the fitting at an angle and is pretty tight plus that green tube disappears into a loom of a bunch of other stuff so I can't really see where it is routed. Do you think by looking at the pics I could put a compression fitting in its place or could I put in a short extension of tube with a inline connector?
  4. Well I tried to find where to download the schematic and I couldn't find it. Can you tell me how to accomplish that?
  5. Thanks Jim I'll look for that schematic.
  6. I did use compression fittings as well when I replaced the dryer.
  7. I'm not exactly sure where it goes to. I think it heads to the front of the coach possibly to the brake system.
  8. I recently changed out the air dryer and knew I had this leak prior but I wanted to change out the dryer first for obvious reasons. The big green tube is leaking air on top of the tank right where it goes into the push fitting because it's at an angle and not straight out for 6 plus inches first before routing. My question would be can I add some tube using an inline connector? Sorry for the duplicate pics
  9. Well I got the new dryer in. It didn't quite take a 10' cheater bar like Frank M. had mentioned in one of my earlier posts but I did need a 2'er to muscle it off. Works fine but now I'll be chasing an air leak (bubble test)coming from up front somewhere around the 2 tanks. One thing I did notice was is if I were to have a blow out on one of the inside duals it would probably take out some air lines because they are really close to the tires. Thanks again to you all for your infinite wisdom and patience.
  10. Ok thanks Ben! I just picked up the new Air Dryer from Freightliner. Identical tag and part number(see pics) and even came with a new filter so now I have an extra filter for the next change out. Will be replacing tomorrow morning.
  11. Yeah I definitely don't want a cheap knockoff. When I talked to the parts guy at Freightliner I specified that I did not want an after market dryer that I wanted OEM. He said it was a Wabco so I guess we'll see what they come up with. How would I know for sure that it is not a knockoff? Have you had any issues with your US built dryer? I've been watching some of the comments on this forum and others that have said they haven't had any issues with knockoffs and some with replacing 2 or 3 aftermarket dryers and even some having issues with OEM dryers. I guess like with anything else we buy anything can happen.

  13. Update: Found and ordered new drier from my local Freightliner dealer. Will be in tommorrow. Also at a great price $427.49. I will post how the replacement progresses.
