Follow up, After calling R&R Electronics and trouble shooting with Chris over the phone, we found the BIRD 8 pin connector position 8 white wire was not getting a ground signal. Chris told me to cut the wire and ground it to the chassis on the plug side and abandon the other side, which did work. So, so far it's fixed. I'm really glad I called those guys at R&R instead of just throwing money at it. Turned out to cost nothing, I'm happy. Thanks all for this forum!

Thanks for the tips, I ordered a new big boy relay off Amazon, it's old and probably the original. Already took it apart once and rebuilt it 6 months ago. Only cost $140, not to bad. If it doesn't fix it I'll move on to the next. Thanks! Dave

Apologize, a quick glance at recent posts and I found useful information on the BIRD. It may be the Big Boy relay, I'll have to do some trouble shooting using the info I found in a different post. House batts do charge when plugged in. Thanks!

Hello all, Chris Throgmartin refered me to this site. Have an issue all the sudden with my house batteries not charging off the engine alternator. The Generator kicked in while driving and the Aladin shows house discharging. It did blip back and forth a couple times but, still not working correctly. I'm wondering if the BIRD is bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
