  1. I have used a go -pro camera mounted in the area, they have magnetic base and different clamps available. You are able to watch on a phone or tablet real time or record it.. I have used this method many times to track down an issue.
  2. I just went through a air issue over Christmas, the best thing I did was pressurize the entire system utilizing the air inlet on the front of the coach. You can use a small compressor to do this, you will be able to hear a lot better without the engine running. There are tests you need to preform to ensure proper function of air systems, like parking brake engagement on low air pressure. Test to see if you have enough air use the brakes more than once in short period of time. Frank McElroy was invaluable with the info and documents he supplied. The info and docs he supplied are under my post AIR LOSS EXITING THE HIGHWAY in Compressed Air Systems.
  3. Thanks for the invaluable help!! Brian
  4. Thanks for the info, I did the bypass successfully. The emergency/parking brake was popping up as I was driving through RV park, had to stop and run up rpms to get air pressure up. I did notice a solenoid valve has a small leak from the bottom, I believe this to be the MAC valve referenced in the schematic. From what I can decipher this is to lift the tag axle. Has the valve gone bad? It's a very low volume leak. Pic attached, this is inside rear engine hatch on left side. I will be doing the brake test before leaving for home.
  5. I had a large opportunity present itself on a current trip from California to Las Vegas. I have a 05 Monaco Dynasty, ISL 400, Allison 3000. When I exited the highway and was heading to Las Vegas Motorcoach resort. The low air pressure alarm sounded and I was losing rear tank pressure fast. I was able to limp into my site, having to stop and try and get pressure up, emergency brake was trying to engage. After some investigation utilizing a small compressor and a go pro I was able to find the leak/s. The yellow and orange lines have wear holes where it's been rubbing against some frame work, just under the rear bedroom hatch to the engine. Of coarse tucked back in an area impossible to reach to splice. I have pictures to attach. From what I can tell utilizing the 05 Monaco airline schematic and hands on tracing these lines under coach, I should be able to cut the lines before the leak and run new lines splicing back in along side the motor. These areas I can access without a lot of trouble. My question is does this look as an acceptable fix or am I missing something in the schematic and with my looking at the actual airlines. I appreciate any and all help. Brian Jones VID_20231226_162557.mp4
  6. OEM head bolts will stretch. They are throw away after one use. As suggested ARP head bolts/studs is the way to go. They make them in different tensile strengths. They can be quite expensive. Diesel engines have a tendency to lift the heads under loads blowing the head gasket. That's where higher tensile strength bolts/studs are must. The other critical issue is clean threads in the block with the proper lube. ARP makes an excellent lube to go with bolts/studs. The only other suggestion I have is to use a torque wrench with an angle torque measurement. This assures proper torque. A retorque should be done, if reaching the bolts/studs requires a lot of dissambly after running, just let them rest for a day then retorque before assembly. Short of having a stud stretcher, this is best way. In my experience.
  7. No, not getting rid of it, just no new subscribers. It's most likely a satellite access issue, once more satellites put up probably can take more subscribers. I haven't investigated. No NEW portability subscribers.
  8. I received an email from Starlink today saying they no longer allowing NEW subscribers to portability. If you have it you can keep it, if you cancel it you cant get it back. Gmail - Starlink Portability Update.pdf
  9. I have an 05 Dynasty, the plunger switch function is to alert you the Bay door is open or not completely closed. The door plunger switch on my rig doesn't turn lights on or off. The passenger side switch does power all the Bay lights, there is a switch on each light if you don't want it coming on with main switch. This is how my Bay lights and plunger switches function.

  11. I've had my Starlink since last December, I set up a pole mount attached to the rear ladder. I have found it to work with 200+ Mbps download in areas that are still waiting for service officially, 2023 estimated. These areas are Las Vegas, Florida Keys (Marathon) and currently in Jacksonville. My guess is they aren't currently ready to open these areas to the entire population of the area.
  12. If you have a smart wheel module check connections in front electrical bay, after tearing everything apart on steering column it turned out to be corroded connector on Smart wheel module.
  13. Fixed!! Cleaned ground cable on house batteries where is goes through firewall, both sides, removed all connectors from Big Boy circuit board cleaned the ones I could, pushed and pulled connectors apart a couple of times. Turned everything back on, reading +3 charge. I should have specified that 14.5 volt reading was while Bulk charging. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks all for the help. I put 2 new AC units, an motor water pump and exhaust manifold gasket in less time. Brian Also I ordered a new Xantrex inverter/charger Xantrex 81-2010-12 Inv/Chgr, Free-458 2000W 12V 100A M-Sine and remote in anticipation mine was bad. The existing installed inverter Xantrex RV 2012 from 2004 build. What are thoughts on replacing it as preventative maintenance?
  14. Thanks for the offer Jeff, I have the wiring schematics. Brian
  15. With AC disconnected, both battery banks SWITCHED off, inverter off. Both house and Chassis batteries verified with amp meter...zero amps. I still have an 11 amp discharge reading on the Alladin monitor. What am I missing? Brian
  16. I've never had any issues until this, I have help coming in AM. My father in law has extensive electronics training and experience.
  17. I have turned off all the breakers with no change, I've started pulling fuses. I am going to try and verify actual amps being discharged.
  18. Hello, this will be my first post on here. Have read many posts and many of my issues remedied or mind put to rest. I have a 05 Dynasty 40' ISL 400. My current issue is the Alladin display is showing up to 15 amp discharge. I have Xantrex RV 1202 M inverter that appears to be functioning properly. I replaced the Big Boy battery isolator relay. House batteries - I have four 6 volt Interstate flooded lead acid batteries in Series-Parallel = 12 volts. Replaced a year ago. Chassis batteries - two 12 volt batteries in Parallel. Replaced a year ago. I measure DC voltage at the house batteries of ~14.5 volts when on shore power. When shore power is disconnected volts at house batteries is ~13.5 volts. Alladin display goes up to 21 amp discharge. Everything is off so I should only have parasitic discharge. This issue is new, my Alladin in the past always read ~3 amp charge when on shore power or genset. I dont boondock so I have never really used many amp hours out of the batteries. When on shore power my xantrex DC amp meter reads 14 amp charging. My Aladdin reads 9 amp discharge. Something about this does not seem correct. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Brian
