  1. I’ve read the macerating pump under the toilet can get clogged with paper, wipes or ? I wonder if a shop vac from the bowl side would extract whatever may be lodged inside the pump?
  2. Thank you for your help Richard. Do you have any idea how big a project rebuilding the toilet would be? Thx. Dwight
  3. I forget the model designation, but our Dip has just one bath, mid, on the passenger side. We have a full wall slide on the road side. Our coach has a macerator, Saniflush dump—the smaller hose is great to handle but takes much longer to dump.
  4. Even though it’s older, we love the many upgrades of our 07 Diplomat compared to our gas MH. But, I the very simple gravity toilet worked better, IMO. Tecma’s flushing is not as efficient or complete, and worse than couple years ago when the 07 Dip was new to us. Very noisy too. Is there a fix? Thank You!
  5. My EMS does not work if the washer/dryer breaker is switched off. I’ve read others are the same. 2007 Diplomat
  6. I’m interested to learn the heat aspect also. Thx
  7. Do you carry a spare tire? During the last trip when I had a blow-out (smaller truck, not MH) I would have been stranded for a long time if I did not have a spare tire. I have a mounted spare tire but not sure the best way to carry. I'd rather not take basement space for the spare--Ideas? Thank you!
  8. I’d like to upgrade the outside TV on our 07 Diplomat. Suggestions, ideas are welcome. Also, in the 3rd photo, what are those silver colored rings on the inside of the outside TV door? Thank You
  9. Just seems I need to constantly raise or lower the thermostat to keep the temp we want. It was very hot last week. Our previous MH was a Bounder with one thermostat located on an outer wall of the coach-same Problem
  10. I have found the thermostats in our ‘07 Diplomat to be very inaccurate. Dometic. I must keep lowering the temp to keep it running sometimes then it gets too cold and I must keep adjusting opposite.
  11. My only experience with an NRVIA inspector was not satisfactory. Operating out of Delray Beach, FL, he was highly recommended, but I think overrated. This inspector (I need to look up his name) would not drive the coach or look under—insurance reasons he said. This was our first DP, I now know Monaco’s are infamous for slide floor water problems. I know now our coach was fitted with a fix similar to Guardian Plates—similar but not from the folks in FL that do this work. Our Diplomat has a full wall slide which can be temperamental at times. No mention of the plates or slide operation by the “expert”. I don’t think he opened the slides. The coach was missing the entry door awning-I knew this from the Prev. Owner but no mention by the “expert”. I could l list other minor issues not reported. Over all it’s a great unit that we enjoy but next time I’ll do my own inspection.
