  1. I got it adjusted so the slide works better. Then I sold it and bought a 2005 Knight
  2. 36' with 1 slide. Air ride suspension and a powerful diesel engine. We have enjoyed this RV for the last 2 1/2 years and are only selling it because we want something a bit larger. This has sleeping for 4 with the Queen size bed and jacknife sofa. We just replaced the carpet. It has a three burner cooktop and microwave oven. The tires were replaced with Toyos in 2021. Everything works as it should. If you're looking to get a high quality diesel pusher without breaking the bank than this might be the one for you. Contact us for more information 2001 Monaco Diplomat 36B Cummins ISC 8.3 ltr 330hp with 80k miles, serviced in November. New lift pump in 2022 Allison 6sp Automatic Onan 7500W Generator with 555 hours, serviced in November. House batteries replaced in November 2Kw Inverter Large passthrough storage 2 Rooftop A/Cs with heat pumps. Gas furnace Gas/Electric Water heater. Washer/Dryer Electric main awning in good shape. Manual window awnings are in good shape. Slide topper is in ok shape but should probably be replaced sooner than later. Manual hydraulic leveling Scangauge engine monitor. $28,000
  3. 2001 Monaco Diplomat. It has the galley/sofa slide on the driver's side. When we bought the coach the tiles were broken where the rear inverted roller sits when the slide is retracted. Over the last couple of years more of the tiles around it have started breaking in a line. Is there an adjustment procedure for that particular roller? I understand it takes a lot of the weight of the galley when the slide is moving and stowed. It seems to me if the roller was raised slightly the galley would just tip down more and the weight on the roller really wouldn't change. Thinking it out a bit more another possibility is that roller is lower than the other inverted rollers so its taking more of the slide weight than it should. The only other thing I can think of is the subfloor is getting weak allowing too much flex. There's no signs of any water damage and the slide itself is in great shape. Does anyone have a source for a match to the 8" off white tiles Monaco used in 2001?
  4. I read the manual but still can't find the switch. I don't even see an ABS test port like some of the diagrams show. The only thing I've found under the left side of the dash is the engine diagnostic port, which I have my Scan Gauge plugged in to. That's not mounted to anything, but just hanging amongst the wires. 2001 Diplomat
  5. I'm curious how you retrieved the code? Mine has an abs light that I would like to sort out.
  6. I noticed water leaking around the windshield seal of our '01 Diplomat. I could even see air bubbles in the corner when driving from the air leaking. Trying to find a referral in Oklahoma or North Texas for a good shop to pull my windshields are reseal them, perhaps with new gaskets if you can still get them. There's a few RV dealers in Oklahoma City but I would like to see who you guys recommend.
  7. I can't answer about the low fuel light. I can tell you though after 30 years of driving tractor trailers, if I ever ran out of fuel I would get enough to limp to the closest fuel station, then change the fuel filter immediately. Diesel filters tend to clog if you run out of fuel. I don't know if its the crud at the bottom of the tank, or the air hitting the filter element. I just know the couple times I didn't immediately change the filter, I regretted it soon after when the truck would start running rough. This applies even if I had a brand new filter installed when I ran out of fuel.
  8. I purchased my 2001 Diplomat at the beginning of this year. Due to other circumstances I haven't driven it very much, with the three hour trip home from the dealership being the longest. I noticed while driving there seems to be a lot of movement between the dash and the front of the coach. I don't know if the dash is moving, or the front is moving. I've read about people having windshields pop-out due to the amount of movement in the front. Should I be concerned, or is there anything I can check for loose brackets, perhaps that hold the dash in place? I found two of the supports for the generator door weren't even attached to the frame, so I fixed that.
  9. There are several TPMS systems that will monitor each tire individually. I have one from Amazon that is solar powered and sits on my dash and it has all 6 tire pressures shown at the same time. If any individual tire alarms for low pressure or high temperature I can see immediately which tire it is. I'm actually looking at one now that will show all 6 tires on the RV and the 4 tires on my toad. The system I got is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HMZZFRF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
