  1. Anyone have information on the two sockets labeled "ABS BC" (Blink Code), and ABS SW (Switch). There is nothing plugged in these positions, should there be in order to read ABS codes? The box is located in the rear passenger side compartment. Box and module.pdfs.

  4. Richard Sounds very similar to my issue, but it happened very infrequently. Did your problem have symptoms as described below? (2003 Holiday Rambler, w/Allison Transmission 2000 MH with Cummins 5.9L) Last year: I have had this happen to me three or four times in the past six months. When first starting out on a drive, the speedometer would read way too high (like 80mph when I am only driving about 20), and the transmission not shifting. What I did to resolve this issue was to pull over, turn the engine off, and then restart. The problem went away. When I am underway without the speed increase and have no issue. I have a steady speed readout on my speedometer. When I have the problem, I know right away. I don't have a means of reading the engine or transmission codes, so I am unsure of what the problem actually is at this point. NOW: I since replaced the output speed sensor a few weeks ago, and have not had the issue since. However, this happened so infrequently that I am not totally sure it is gone for good. crossing my fingers thanks Kevin Atkins
  5. If you zoom in on my first picture, you will see the names for each relay. the fist picture is the cover to the relay box there are also corresponding fuses in there as well
  6. I had the same thing, and found out I had a bad relay. My relay box was in the front curb side front compartment. You can get these relays from Amazon (Omron12077866 is the same as the Tyco)
  7. I have a J1587 port for my diagnostics, and thought I could also use this to help diagnose the root cause of my problem Any recommendations of what to get? I have Cummins 5.9L ISB 26 /275LT /300andAllison TransmissionModel 2000 MH

  10. Thanks for the response I am going to replace my VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) this weekend and give it a try. However, my speed reading is steady and accurate going down the road, when I am not having the issues described. I am hoping it is nothing more costly like my ECM. My next step may be to find a Cummins shop thanks
  11. I had this issue again, and thought about it a little more. I have a steady speed readout on my speedometer normally, once I am underway without the speed increase and have no issue. When I have the problem, I know right away. I see the speedometer read way to high, like 80 mph when I am only going maybe 20. This has happened 4 or 5 times now. I just stop, shut the engine off and then restart. (that seems to reset the problem) Question Does the speed sensor go directly to the speedometer, or does it go to the engine or transmission modules first? I heard somewhere that the signal to the transmission or engine module comes from the speedometer. My thought is that perhaps I have a speedometer issue.
  12. Did the alarm only come on after driving a little way, and getting up to temp? I had this happen to me, and found out that the temp sending unit was just a little too sensitive. While my engine temp is perfect, I tend to get the alarm when going up hill. I tried replacing the alarm module. (See picture). This module has five inputs, and one of them is the engine temp. the module is just behind the dash. not sure if that’s your problem, but this it what I had

  15. I had the same thing on my 2003 HR Neptune. ended up finding a bad relay in one of the Monoco relay boxes. There is one that brings on power to the dash. I went ahead and replaced them all.

  18. thanks for all the great info. I removed the cover from around the steering wheel, and it was exactly as described. That is what I was thinking
  19. I need to reposition my steering wheel. As I drive down a straight road my wheel Points to 10 O’clock. The coach does not pull to either side, and just had it aligned when I had the rear trailing arms replaced. I just forgot to ask them to look at the steering wheel location. can this be done without adjusting my steering box, like perhaps on the steering column? Has anyone had this issue, and found this can be done?
  20. I just had my trailing arms replaced a couple of months ago. I did not see a problem, but with everything I read I didn’t want to take a chance. I ordered the parts from Source engineering, and had a local truck shop replace them. The other reason I went ahead and did it was, I have a friend with a HR in the range of the recall, and actually had his arms break.
  21. Thanks a bunch guys. That is what I expected. I did have a couple of the relays go bad on me as well in the Monoco 3 box up front. (One was related to the IGN, and none of the gauges would work) I just found another relay box at the rear of the coach (Monoco 4) and it contains relays and fuses for the ABS. I think I am going to check this out thanks again
  22. Thanks The ABS light as well? I have had my coach for a couple of years and never thought about it. I have had some recent overheating in my front rotors/calipers, and it made me think about the ABS system
