  1. I realize I should have provided a little more detail. This is the DuoTherm Penguin II 13,500 BTU Heat Pump model 651815. I know I can buy this control board online but was hoping someone had recently changed theirs out and just had the old unit to discard. Anyway, giving it a try. Part number I was given by Dometic was 3312022.000.
  2. This Spring I will be changing out the old REAR DuoTherm A/C with a new Penguin II. My FRONT A/C unit was installed by PO and is a Penguin II, but it has the control board conversion so it can work in conjunction with the REAR DuoTherm and 5 button Thermostat. After I install the new Penguin II, I will be upgrading to the MicroAir Thermostat that works with the Penguin II units. I will need to replace the FRONT A/C conversion board. So I am in search of anyone who might have a spare Penguin II control board they do not need or are willing to sell?
  3. I am following. I have wondered the same thing why there are no rain gutters on our coach. Our fifth wheel had them. Has anyone installed these rain gutters? Or if not, why not?
  4. Yes I did when I put it back on. It didn’t change the slight pull. You should try still. You never know.
  5. Rick - My coach came from the PO with a steer safe as well. I also had the opposite of you, a slight pull to the left. So I decided to remove the steer safe. No change. Those devices are designed to keep your wheels straight in case of a steer tire blow out. I have read several testimonies that they are effective in doing that, so I put them back on. My next thing to do is swap the front steer tires. I have read that this has solved a lot of slight pulls to the left or right. Best of luck.
  6. Harry, my cooling stack is very similar to yours. Did you spray in the expandable foam in the voids on both sides? Makes sense to keep air from bypassing the stack.
  7. I have both hard and electronic copies of my manual. The hard copy does allow to add notes and I can flip between sections and pages easier. However, since I learned about the search function of the pdf file, CTRL F, I have found that the electronic copy makes it really easy to find a specific topic(s)/word(s) that I may not remember what page it is on and it is not in the index. For example, if I searched on "tire pressure" I can quickly read through every section the manual has to say about "tire pressure."
  8. @Dennis N - 2005 Windsor Dennis - as a follow up to your question about generator extended operation between oil changes. The oil sample of my recent oil change after running for 270 hours showed good results. JG Lubricants said that I could have kept running with the oil. So next time for me it will be 300 hours and sample. Figured you might want to know this since our generator operation scenario is very similar.
  9. @96 EVO Ben - I won't be able to attend the seminar, but I have been told that the Fleetguard ES Compleat EG is a "Hybrid" coolant that contains both SCA and OAT additives. If they mention this can you report back what you hear? Thanks,
  10. @Joe Lee Pull the switch out and see if there is an alphanumeric part number stamped on it. Then google that. I have found most of my switches at https://www.carlingtech.com/products
  11. Recently installed two of these with C Port at the end of cabinets. Had to install two boxes as the RV OEM ones had no box. Very pleased with them too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09GLSJP1W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
  12. Highly unlikely. If the HWH is full based on your scenario, and the tank has no leaks, it could lose (evaporate) water is if the PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) releases due to being bad, stuck open, or system continues to overheat, and this cycle continues to happen, then perhaps you could evaporate all of the water off. But highly unlikely. Haven't ever heard of that happening, but it could if that situation occurred.
  13. I purchased one of these if I am staying somewhere and using the generator for more than a day. It does quiet the exhaust, plus it exhausts above the RV so you do not have fumes at ground level. https://www.amazon.com/FDSNH-Generator-Exhaust-Venting-Systems/dp/B09FG4G8PL/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=48ZD1R2YOM3T&keywords=rv+generator+exhaust+stack&qid=1706377340&sprefix=rv+generator+stack%2Caps%2C121&sr=8-2-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
  14. Dennis - Here in Texas we tailgate exactly the same way during college football season. During September and October there is no getting by without running the generator full time and both A/C's. So after just 3 games we are at 150 hours. Different teams though 😀 I have read quite a few threads on IRV2 and am attaching just one of them. I am sure there are many opinions on this that vary the spectrum. But I am going to be implementing the comments made by dsbear in the thread. Basically, go 300 hours, use synthetic oil (Rotella T6), change air filter too, and sample after each change. I am about do an oil change and send out a sample to JG Lubricants. So I will know how the first run goes. I am just at 260 hours though for this change. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/onan-quiet-diesel-7500-oil-change-interval-241251.html If after several oil changes and sample analysis continues to show good results, I may just start to analyze after every two intervals.
