  1. Hey Tom good catch, also I suggest to to freshen up the hydronic fluid, can be acquired through Amazon(red or Yellow),depends on what your system is charged with.
  2. As Tom mentioned what type of hydronic system you have,aqua-hot,oasis,etc.how many heat zones do you have in your coach?,your heat has zone pumps that circulate the heated solution to the radiators in the coach, each zone has its own pump, and one for engine heat if you have that option. Now there should be a main fuse panel by your unit or attached to it that has minnie fuses accompanied with little led lights the will let you know if the fuse is blown, maybe just a tired fuse which is an easy fix if it keeps blowing the fuse it’s your zone pump.I have an oasis system that replaced the aqua-hot,the zone pumps are $300.00+,don’t try using a cheap 12v pump (I know tried going that route they don’t hold up to the hot water). Now I don’t know where your unit is located but on my 2003 HR Imperial.I had to access it from my basement, the distribution center that houses the zone pumps is a separate box that’s separate from main heating unit.Look around on your heating unit to see if there is a toll free number to call,I know Oasis has one and they will walk you through any problem, yes you get to talk to a real tech and they are very patient and it’s as though they are looking over shoulder.Hey lots of luck ,getting to know just some of the workings of your motor home,it’s an unending learning process.Hope this gives you somewhere to start.
  3. ROADMASTER kit to wire into rear tail lights and wire harness to front of your vehicle to a separate plug that you install, which you plug into your motor home.Goto YOU-TUBE search RVI-3 brake install, and roadmaster brake and turn signal kit.If you are a DIY about 2hr wiring hook-up.
  4. There should be 2 outlets where your fridge is plugged in,on my 2003 HR Imperial my top outlet is from your inverter, the bottom is on shore or generator power.Don’t forget to enable your inverter, your fridge will then run on the inverter and not go to LP.When done traveling just switch back to the other outlet.
  5. Right underneath the mirros, generator slides out can access the wires, and attach the cameras underneath the mirros.
  6. Adam if you have an xantrex inverter converter,on the side of the inverter towards the back there are 3 little black reset buttons, you might have tripped one of the relays if so you won’t get power to coach and you will not be able to charge house batteries.Check to see if one of those breakers popped out,if so push it in and that should power you back up.If that doesn’t work might be your automatic transfer switch.
  7. Heat pumps on the norm stop producing heat below 40 degrees,we have an oasis system that replaced the aqua hot that we keep zone 1 @ 60 degrees, and zone 2 @ 62 degrees on the electric, unless it’s in the 20`s then we switch it to furnace. Now we also use an oil filled radiator type space heater which usually keeps our unit in the 60`s,that’s why we keep our thermostats low 60`s.
  8. Nice job,that should keep Momma happy.👍🏻
  9. Drain water fuel separator, change both fuel filters. You should always carry extra fuel filters. When you change fuel filters you don’t have to fill them with fuel before you replace them, after changing them turn your ignition on for a few minutes to allow your lift pump to fill them, then fire her up.
  10. On our 2003 HR Imperial, drivers front side basement door it contains fuses there is a black cover unscrew the three plastic wing nuts to re move cover,on the back of that cover should have fuse diagram,if you look closely you should see on the fuse panel showing for map lights and goose although it doesn’t say goose neck, don’t know if that will help, but most Monaco rigs are pretty much the same, not saying they are but give it a try.
  11. Hi JDCrow, I replaced the inverter with a Xantrex pure sine 3012 3000 watt inverter, also replace the 50amp auto relay. I have 2 panels in the coach ,one panel are gfci/arc breaker, the other panel are standard breakers for the shore power. I like the idea of using the block heater breaker to be able to be power the rest of the outlets through the inverter.the main breaker has 2 30amp legs that feed the converter, guess I have to figure out what’s feeding the shore and gen outlets.Always open to suggestions.
  12. As mentioned check your inverter/converter,there are breakers that are little round black buttons .And if that being the case push the button in that has popped out that should restore your outlets. In the future if you are using the heater, don’t use microwave, air fryer, etc that is drawing hi wattage,if your going to use those appliances turn off heater. That’s our SOP. 13. It was always silent operating, never heard an electric motor engaging the cover,so I have no idea what actuates the cover there’s power going from the switch Also having a problem with the keyless entry pad, some of these issues are above my pay scale and patience.
  14. Need a wiring schematic for 2003 HR 40PWD Imperial to show step cover and access to it
