  1. Near the toilet or shower area? I’d bet there’s a leak somewhere causing the plywood floor to expand and eventually rot.
  2. High temp thermostat button not resetting? Are you getting hot exhaust outside after your restart the diesel burner? Hope it’s not the controller. Expensive piece to replace.
  3. In my previous post I gave the flush valve part number for the model 501 toilet. Yours looks like mine. Part # 385314349 .Travler 501.
  4. Try wiggling the foot peddle up and down. It should rest in the middle somewhere. If that doesn’t stop the problem you’ll have to replace the flush valve. Easy job. Just be sure you turn off t water pump 😎 . if you have a Dometic/Sealand toilet like I have in my 2000 Dynasty, there’s plenty of them on eBay and Amazon available .(get one that will fit your toilet model #). Mine took a part no. 385314349 . It fits several Sealand models . If I remember, mine is a model 501. YouTube has some good videos on replacing them . ( You don’t have to remove the toilet bowl for this job like you do to replace the flush seal .) When I replaced mine, I put a little dab of silicone grease on the top of the ball that rides on the foot leaver so it could move smoothly . Hope that helps you with the fix.
  5. How about insulation and 120 v heat trace? You should have a outlet near by in a compartment.
  6. I’m interested i taking your fixtures. Are they the 18 “ lamps inside them ? I have some that need ballasts etc. I have a 2000 Dynasty. My fixtures measure 20 1/2” by 6 1/2” (outside of framework). Yours look very similar to mine. cliff18 how do I pay you for this? Send me a private message please I’m afraid everyone will respond fo $$$ Send me a private msg please. I’m afraid everyone will respond for $$$ Thanks, Jim

  8. No problems here with my 120v going on 4 years now. They’re supposed to give you a 3 year warranty on the compressor. I guess that’s only the compressor itself. Still think they should have considered it a defect. what did you do with the old unit?
  9. Their website won’t list Norcold so you have to call them. They make a kit to replace the gaskets. There is no catalog for them so they will give you instructions on what you’ll need to do to order. It seems that Norcold didn’t make all the same gaskets and doors the same even on the same model. They quoted me $225. for the kit which included everything needed, instructions, and shipping for my 4 dr. 1200 LRIM . Since I’ve already converted it to a JC Refrideration w/ 120v compressor three years ago , and it works so well, I’ll replace my deteriorating gaskets.
  10. I have a 2000 Dynasty 40’coach. I’m assuming you’re referring to the two 120vac panels located in the rear of coach over the bed. I could take a pic but I have moved some of the wires to different positions and re-labeled. So that wouldn’t help you much. I would suggest that you turn off ALL the breakers in both panels. Then turn one on and see what is energized. Then label it. Continue on to another and label until you have completed all the breakers. Takes time but at least you will know what is what.
  11. Took the belt off years ago. The dash units don’t cool very well anyway even when working. Repairs aren’t cheap either. JMHO
  12. Thoughts go out to you. Lost our Boston a couple of years ago. Same problem. We also have cats. Loosing one right now to heart an diabetes. Don’t think he’s going to last the day. We grieve because they are family.
  13. As stated in previous post. I have a 2000 Monaco Dynasty. It’s located in the first overhead cabinet behind the passenger/ copilot seat on the outside bulkhead. It’s a wood panel box. You have to open the panel to access it.
  14. MJ, So what’s the problem? Make a deal if y really like it.
  15. Looks like it’s been used with mileage and generator usage at 3000hrs. Tires are good for age dates. More than likely bugs and problems have been fixed over the time of ownership. Have you driven it? You didn’t mention anything about service records , repairs, receipts, etc. I’d be looking at that. Operate the washer/dryer. Pull out cabinet drawers and look at the floor for water leaks etc. I’m pretty sure this model has AquaHot. Does It function through the cycles and come back on when temp resets? When last serviced? Paint: if you’re planning on that experience, $$$$$. Does it need it?? What EMS / transfer switch is Installed? Norcold refer replaced with what???? TV’s upgraded to digital flat screen? Entertainment system working? Toilet holding a little water in the bowl? I’m not sure but I don’t think it uses DEF. That would be a good thing. I’m sure I could think of more to look for but if it meets all the above, you probably could make an offer. If they are asking $80, they will take less. Always negotiate. Good luck. 16. Why would you consider even replying to CW or using their services?
  17. I have the same coach and bathroom door knob. Same problem. I just took it apart and lubed it. When I put it together, left it a little loose and tightened up the set screw. Works good now.
  18. Not really. Just have a sense of humor that the DW doesn’t always like. She says “ I can take him anywhere. I get lots of sympathy. “
  19. That’s a good vent. We all need to do that once in awhile. I can relate some. Hope you feel better now. Merry Christmas.
  20. GFCI receptacles trip when there is an unbalanced amount of current between the hot and neutral. That would mean that some is going to ground. That protects you from a shock or electrocution. Or …. They are wired wrong. You don’t say if anything is plugged in to the circuit or not. You may have a piece of equipment that may be causing the problem. Isolate the problem by starting out with one unit at a time till it trips. My coach 120volt panel has GFI breakers for the circuits that need that protection. (I have no GFI receptacles in the coach). They work much better than GFI outlets. If you install them make sure you wire the neutral (white wire ) for that circuit to the breaker and put the curly white wire on the breaker to the neutral bar. The you put regular outlets in place of the GFI outlets. The GFCI breaker will protect the whole circuit.
  21. Finding new people to train in a profession is very hard. The young folks now are taught that everything should be given to them. Move up instantly. You don’t have to earn it. It’s just a “job” not a career. Move on to the next one. Not much work ethic out there now. We’ve spoiled our younger generations by giving them what they want, not what they needed. Guess you could call that discipline. Also we’ve become a “ throwaway society “. If it’s broke don’t fix it. Get a new one. Now days you can’t even get a new one sometimes. Supply chain is foreign. I could go on and on. 2000 Monaco Dynasty 40” Do my own maintenance and repairs with help sometimes.
  22. Yes it did , while driving . Got to destination and got some wood and some sheetrock screws at the local lumber yard. Had a hacksaw and drill motor already. Old factory installation was glue only. Lasted 18 years. Did not want to go back with glue ( liquid nails).Braced the burner unit up from the bottom then installed four legs ( tightly) up against it. Screwed the legs to the shelf below diagonally which was carpeted. Had to cut legs a pinch longer than I measured. Trimmed till they fit good and tight against the unit and shelf. Still have lots of space there for storage even with the leg supports in place. Hasn’t moved in four years. It certainly won’t fall again. Easy and cheap fix. Didn’t glue. No need to. It’s solid. 23. Tim and Rosa When my ice my quits, I turn off the refer, empty the side with the ice maker , direct a fan to it , mop out the water , put the frozen food back that I put in. a cooler , turn th ridge back on and it makes ice again. (Ice maker freezes up sometimes).
  24. Home Depot This will fit your space with room to spare without a bunch of modifications. 13.9 cu. ft. Someone just posted this a few days ago. Think may have been BobJones. This unit is without an ice maker. They say optional. I did the JC 120volt conversation to mine. Did it myself but that was still $1200. I like the results. 3 years working great. Probably would go with the Frigidaire w/ ice maker now. 2000 Dynasty 40’ Home Depot This will fit your space without a bunch of modifications. 13.9 cu. ft.
