  1. My Passenger slide out is raised (it has metal frame work in the floor base) I used a stud finder to locate them (i think there where 3 that ran long ways) Then I used stainless steel self tappers to attach
  2. I removed the puck light and pushed up through the hole in the fake wooden floor of the cabinet (gently) 05 diplomat they where 1/4" stapled around the edge.
  3. Check the outlet before that one. On mine the one in the center fed out to the others. That was the 'smart' one.
  4. When I took the 'headache' out I removed the plug that was tied to the key. On mine it was a 12 volt wire that plugged into the plug. I removed the plug and put in a regular outlet. The old plug had both 12 volt wires and 110 romex (i just used the 110 romex wires) [Icoiled up the 12 volts and hid them in the back of the cabinet]
  5. 05 diplomat I had to repair some overheads I pulled the puck light down and pounded up in the light hole. (mine had staples around the inside edges, I worked around slowly to not break the thin wood) To lift the inside of the floor in the cabinet. I figured I could hide the inside of the cabinet better than the outside 🙂
  6. is there any nub left? when mine broke i had an SMALL piece sticking out on the right. I was able to use pliers and release the latch by twisting on the nub. I also took a long flat head and pried the door open (WARNING my latch is plastic so it popped open I figured latch would be cheaper than door ;)
  7. What valance do u have we removed the fabric ours are oak (I had to add a oak top board)
  8. I just had to replace my pump on my 05 diplomat and had to redo some of the plumbing since the pump input and output where in a different position (about 1.5" away from the wall) I cheated and put new connection on the pex and used 2 braided metal connection(like used to connect sinks) to connect to both sides of the pump. Now changing or winterizing is easy 🙂
  9. I had to take the sidewall of my spice cabinet out to get access to the shower faucet. You also have to have small bendable hands to get to it. Not great design but hey what fun would an access panel be 🙂
  10. Are you looking for these lights? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1523983754685925?ref=product_details&referral_code=undefined we up graded all our lights to led.
  11. I used silicone as a stop gap till proflex came in via amazon. It is not good use silicone but it peeled up some what easy so I could redo with proflex correctly.
  12. I replaced mine cut the pex and added shutoff valves
  13. did you have to redo the pipes? I have not got my new one in yet the pex piping is 4" long to the output side and the new pump output is offset 2 more inches from the wall. I am deciding to re pex or add a piece of flexable hose (i did this in my travel trailer so the pump does not shake the lines).
  14. I went out to get new tires for my 2005 Diplomat 40pdq After reading here and on facebook it sounds like the TOYO M144 are the go to for most. So went to my local store and asked for them. So long story short TOYO do not make 275/70 22.5 in the M144. (They came back with the M320Z around $500) What is everyone doing using a different size? Thanks for the inputs 🙂
  15. Ok looking help and guidance. I got a 2005 diplomat last fall I notice wet floor next to the drivers seat So I bought a cover to get through winter until I could address the roof. Yesterday removed cover and resealed seams on the roof. Went inside an the floor is wet? Trying to come up with reasons why it would be wet with a cover over the rv? Roof was not that bad any ideas where to look next? thanks
