  1. Would you mind taking a pic of it? I would like to see if it’s similar to ours. We were told by one mechanic that it was a Volkswagen window motor and that they are getting very hard to find. We have a 2007 dynasty and have a picture of the awning in an older post. We haven’t had time to unassemble it ourselves to compare motors. Once we do, we will try to post our findings.
  2. Updating… pulled out manual and it says Girard G1500 door awning. Motor part #9700140-00. Not finding much info on it.
  3. Hello All! We have a 2007 Dynasty palace iii. Had the coach into a shop having a variety of repairs and maintenance taken care of. Our door awning doesn’t work. They diagnosed a bad motor, but don’t recommend replacing awning as removing current awning and replacing will leave a spot in the paint showing that would need touching up. They are trying to find a replacement motor, but apparently they are hard to come by. Does anyone know where we can come up with a replacement motor that would work? I’ve attached a photo of our awning to help with identification. thanks for your help!!
  4. Travis K, Can’t thank you enough!! Your pictures were exactly what we needed!!! We spent many months chasing that down. My husband took one look at your pictures. Walked out to the shed, pulled the BUSS fuses and replaced. He knew with one look that you solved his problem. THANK YOU so much sir!!
  5. Rick, just wondering if anything showed up on your scans or if you had an update I missed?
  6. You are a very wise man! Planning ahead and working out a timeframe is essential to having a good experience. Unforseen worker shortages are very common right now. Not having to be in a time crunch takes alot of pressure off of both the shop and you. The last time we took our coach in for general maintenance and issues we made the appointment knowing we were going to be busy for the next little while and not needing the coach. Allowed the shop to take their time and fit it in as they could. Kept in communication with them and had a very pleasant experience.
  7. We had a couple spots on ours not lit. My husband flicked them with his finger and they went back on. They have worked ever since then. We don’t actually use them all that often.
  8. Our large slide in a 2007 Dynasty acted up like that. We thought something was going out. When we replaced all our batteries the problem went away. We did find out the batteries were in really bad shape.
