  1. I live near Mt Lassen in Northern California. PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) is my supplier. Last bill was: Off peak, 48.7 cents/KWH and Peak, 51.5 cents/KWH
  2. I have a 40', 1993 Signature. I have 12 volt fuses in 2 places. Most house wiring 12v fuses are above the microwave oven. The panel has switches such for the water pump, gauges, and the remote panel for the inverter/charger. It is not evident. But if one pulls on the bottom of the panel it is hinged at the top and will open. The largest fuse panel is just to the right of the accelerator peddle, below the dash and in my coach, above a vent. It has no handles or evidence that it opens. It is hinged at the bottom and will open. Many fuses in there.
  3. While at my brother's house in Newcastle CA, East of Sacramento I called t h e guys in Coburg. They shipped the glass to their affiliate in Sacramento. It was replaced at the house in less than 3 hours including a new gasket. They did a great job.
  4. It makes no difference. My toad is a Jeep with 35x1250R15 tires. No issues. Just be sure you do not lock the steering on the toad when you remove the key from the ignition.
  5. I followed the link to the classic ac site and I belive that by saying all electric they mean no vacuum lines needed to operate vents etc.. I think they still use and engine driven compressor.
  6. I have an older Monaco but mine has a valve at the city water connection that must be in one position to fill the tank and the other position to use city water. Perhaps a failure at that point.
  7. Just so you don't feel alone out... I am full time in my 1993, Crown Royal Signature Series, as I work my way through a divorce. 300 Cummins and she is a grand old machine.
  8. Moderator Edit. Robert, please do a search for a topic rather than just asking a generic question. If you use the word "Wiper", you will get many. I had to combine this topic with the one that has had recent activity. There are several sources listed. Diesel Equipment has a great tech source. Do not know if AM Equipment was making Monaco's wipers pre 2000. There are several local suppliers or websites where you can get expert information. Thanks in the future for doing this to keep the forum from getting cluttered and fragmented. Moderator, Tom Cherry Does anybody have a lead on where to find new wiper arms for a 93 Monaco Signature Series coach. Both arms have weak springs and barely press against the glass in some areas. They appear to be on a splined shaft and held on with a cap nut. Thanks
  9. Thanks. When I get to my destination I will do the soapy water thing and see if I can find the leak. The leak is very minor my main concern is I don't understand exactly what triggers to refill that tank and what it looks like and where to find it underneath the coach. That is what I'm hoping to find out
  10. My air system has the usual twin needle pressure gauge. First question is the white needle for front or rear brakes? While driving the red needle barely moves and stays pretty steady at about 120 psi. The white system has a slow leak and will slowly drop about 5 pounds and the rise back up. Occasionally it will drop 20 pounds or more and then quickly rise back up. When climbing long grades it has a few times dropped to the point of the warning buzzer coming on. If I quickly snap then throttle off and on once or twice it will catch and rapidly come to back 120 psi. Can somebody tell me where the faulty valve or regulator might be found on my 93 Monaco, what is the proper name for it, perhaps send a picture so I know what I am looking for, tell me where to look for a new one and anything tips on replacing it? That is a big request, I know, but I am looking for knowledge and this forum is a gold mine of knowledge. I am headed from Washington to Colorado so I hope to make the change myself. I will check back in tonight when I stop for the day.
  11. Just a friendly suggestion. The title of your post needs to make it clear what the subject is. This helps those with the knowledge to respond to your post. It also help future searches when one of your fellow Monacoers is looking for a solution to there problem. Thanks
  12. I suggest you also spray on all basement compartments.
  13. My 93 Signature Series has a foot switch for the Jake brake and no dash switch. Stepping on the fuel pedal as it was called does not disengage the Jake. As long as my foot is on the floor switch the brake is engaged. My transmission is manually down shifted. It works great.
  14. I typed just the number into Google and carports shows a pair of fog lights and there was a listing on ebay for one light from a Monaco. I typed just the number into Google and carports shows a pair of fog lights and there was a listing on ebay for one light from a Monaco.
  15. The contactors received from Allied Electronics were exactly the same part. I easily replaced the two old contactors that were buzzing and now all is silent. You can Google Allied Electronics. There shipping was fast and there follow up was appreciated.
  16. Yes Potter Brumfield PRD-11AY0-120 From Allied Electric alliedelec.com Order by 10 pm eastern and they ship same day. Mine due here in CA Friday.
  17. I pulled a contactor and there is a manufacturer and part number on it. I checked locally and ended up ordering 2 online to be here Friday. Still a valid part in in stock in several places. That is good info but after 29 years I will just replace with same ones of the same part #.
  18. Fast Hobie and Rick. I will do as suggested and take one to the electrical supply. All 4 appear to be the same.
  19. Thanks Rick. As I understand it these relays are energized when I plug into shore power. I was hoping somebody could tell me how to find matching contactors.
  20. If I understand correctly the picture I included where the hundred twenty volt contactors are is the transfer switch. There is no writing anywhere other than the warning that it is high voltage. I don't see any practical way to replace this entire thing I just want to replace the two contactors that are humming. Any other ideas?
  21. That is a great idea and I will be looking for a fence post cover today. Thanks for sharing
  22. When plugged into shore power two of these contactors produce quite an annoying hum or buzzing sound and they are above the bed. I can see no numbers on them. Can anybody tell me how to source new ones without removing one first? Ant help will be appreciated. The coach is a 93 Monaco. Thanks
  23. Not a waste of my time. I get the list every day and scan for all topics that might help me or that I might have an answer for.
  24. Next time how about a title to the post that gives us an idea what it is about?
