  1. As others have stated, I'm sure very good body shops can be found in your local area. If you decide to make the trip to Oregon, I highly recommend https://www.mackinstreetcustoms.com/ Both a buddy of mine and myself have used him with great results. Rick used to work in the body shop at Monaco. My buddies Diplomat is in the portfolio on the website. It's the green and gold one getting repaired after removing an old moldy 3M shield in front.
  2. I'm running an ISX so that may play into it as well.
  3. Well, like I say, this is all from memory (which has been known to let me down) and I don't have the coach nearby, but looking at the brochure, it says 15F, 23D and 10T. so I must be more like 9K on the tag. I know that last time I weighed it, it was all within the capacities and we haven't made any significant changes to the load.
  4. Agreed. All of that definitely needs to be taken into account. There is nothing about this that is plug 'n play. IIRC for me I'm approx. 14K front, 19K drive and 11K tag.
  5. Previous owner of our Executive was told by the fine folks at Brazel's, that while sitting at the scale with the front axel only on the scale, run the tag up until you have ~14k lbs on the front axle (yours may be different) and leave it there unless you significantly change the weight/load in the coach. For me that's about 65 psi on the tag and I have no complaints with how the coach drives. I could keep it going straight down the road with one finger on the wheel (if I was so inclined). He also told me that before doing this, driving the coach was exhausting and the tag was set to about 35 psi.
  6. I thought I'd report back on progress here, but unfortunately I don't have a solution. I went back to the coach armed with tools and a couple new filters with the intent of starting with a new filter just because. Just for the heck of it, when I got there, I hit the diesel burner button and well, it fired right up. I ran it for about an hour, shut it down and changed the filter. After one cycle to purge the air, it again, fired right up. It is a little stinky so I'm going to order a new nozzle and replace it, as well as a burner chamber clean, next time I'm at the coach. Again, thanks for all the help here and hopefully the issue doesn't come back.
  7. Thanks @96 EVO Doing some more research, it looks like the photo cell can be testing with an ohm meter. If it's ok, I'm thinking the controller is next. Thanks @Ivan K That's good to know. I'm getting no burner ignition at all so I'll have to dig deeper.
  8. Hello all. New to this forum and I see lots of great support here. We purchased an 07 Exec back in May and have been loving it ever since. We have been using the AquaHot electric side all summer for hot water, but as winter set in, we fired up the diesel side for the first time a few weeks ago. It worked fine for a weekend but when we tried to fire it up again a few weeks later, the diesel burner won't fire. According to the previous owner, the system was serviced back in January (confirmed by date on the filter). I've done some basic troubleshooting, but before I get further into it, I wanted to ask a question here. The diesel burner status light on the panel is always illuminated regardless if I have turned on the diesel switch inside the coach. In fact even if the system is completely turned off (both electric and diesel) the diesel status light is still on. My understanding is this light should only be on when the flame exists on the diesel burner. Does this automatically mean that the photo cell is bad? Just for information, the electric side works as expected, just can't keep up in these winter temps. Any help is much appreciated and sorry for the long post.
