Has anybody traveled 299 west recently, its been 40 years since I drove it in a truck/camper, and it was narrow and windy? Now with a class A pusher I'm wondering if it has change.. Thanks Tim

Changed secondary filter first, prefilled according to filter, on off key 3 times engine started, changed primary filter the same way, turned key 3 times started engine ran fine walk to back of coach and engine died, did the key off and on 10 times could hear the pump run and stop each time, try to start engine cranks but won't fire, thoughts.

first oil change, synthetic or standard
Knight 40 PLQ posted a topic in General Motorhome Discussion
First oil change for new to us Cummings 8.3 with 36,000. Debating T6 or T4 Rotella with Baldwin filters, Did the transmission last year cost was about $250 and I did the work, any comments are appreciated. -
I think I got it squared away, two of the of the 6 volt battery's read 5.4 volts with all 4 read read 10.5 volts unplugged 30amp shore power soft set the inverter and started generator and what do you know Magnum remote started charging๐ and everything seems back to normal so we will see, thanks for everybody's knowledge very appreciated thanks, Tim

Voltage on the remote reads 11.1 and it says low battery, checked the T Fuse 11.1 volts going through, 4 6 volt batteries read 6.1, engine batteries both read 12.5, did a soft and hard reset on the inverter and it comes back on and about 10 minutes later goes into fault and everything is dead, I'm thinking the Magnum is the problem, have a call into Magnum will keep you posted, thanks Tim

My wife was using a steam mop in the coach and it just quit, I looked at the control panel and the red light was on default, reset the 20 amp breaker on inverter now the GFI by bathroom sink is dead and the panel says 50 amp but we are plugged in to 30 amp, checked voltage in all batteries and they are fine, started coach no problem and its charging, unplugged shore power and and plugged back in, reset control panel back to factory specs by the manual, any ideas would be helpful, could a bad GFIC be the culprit it resets but you plug anything in it acts dead, thanks Tim 2006 Monaco Knight

Just set up my 2007 Chevy Avalanche 4x4 as my toad, used the M&G supplemental brake system ( very slick ), with Roadmaster direct connect brackets and Roadmaster Sterling towbar, very satisfied all attach some photos, the one fuse holder is for the emergency brake off switch which I incorporated into the corner of the license plate, the long cylinder is air tank for the emergency tank excellent setup, probabaly took 8 hours with grandkids interruptions , bought it directly from M&G.
