  1. I’d be interested in a few of them Richard. You can contact me at b2b40@icloud.com
  2. Does anyone have or know of a diagram for my 2006 Camelot 40PDQ air system? i.e, showing all the different components, air tanks, valves, air bags, etc. I guess its probably similar to other models, or at least close enough where a diagram might work. In any case that's what I'm looking for.
  3. Rob, mines under the hood so to speak. On the firewall right in the middle. Up toward the top. If you saw the photo it’s small. Have someone trip your air dump while youtr outside looking at the firewall. You should hear it and feel the air.
  4. Found my problem, it was a stuck Air Dump Valve. See photo. I got it to work by tapping on it, but I'll get one ordered to replace it asap. I think this is Monaco's Part No: 16618371
  5. When trying to air up, the gauges never get over 75 psi. I know the gauges aren't that accurate, but prior to my problem they would be up around 100 or so. I let the engine run for 20 to 30 minutes. The front air bags did fill, but the top of the tires would barely clear the body of the coach when turning the wheels. The back air bags didn't lift at all, although they do seem to have a small amount of air. Yesterday while standing in front of the coach I heard air escaping. When I pulled out the generator it was very loud, but I couldn't pin point where it was coming from. It was late in the day, so I shut down until today. This morning after letting it run for 20 minutes or so, and checked the gauges, they did get up to the same 75 psi. When I pulled out the generator and stuck my head in behind it I did hear what sounded like a small leak, but it wasn't like yesterday. This leak appeared to be coming from this device, (see attached photo) on the front side of the firewall. But even using soapy water I couldn't actually find any leak. I realize it's part of the air system, but exactly what is it, and what does it do? Anybody know of a shop in central Florida that understands these air systems on diesels? I haven't tried it yet, because I have the front of the coach up on jack stands so I can get under it, but I'm assuming I won't be able to drive it because of not enough air to release the rear brakes. Any ideas, or help will be appreciated
  6. No, it does not have air leveling, strictly ride only.
  7. Similar air buildup issue on my 2006 Monaco Camelot 40PDQ with kind of a weird sideline. Started it up to let it build up the air. After 15 to 20 minutes the air gauges only reached about 70 lbs. All eight air bags looked to be filled about half way. Usually when it’s airing up I can hear the compressor running. This time I heard nothing. I shut it off. In about 10 minutes I came back and the front had risen to its normal height but the rear hadn’t raised at all. Since the engine wasn’t running the compressor wouldn’t have been running, so how could the front have came up? At this point I started the engine again and within a few minutes the front dropped back down. I hadn’t touched the dump valve. Do you think the governor could be my problem? I do have a new one and plan on changing it just to be sure. I thought maybe someone else may have experienced a similar issue. Bob…
  8. Thanks to all, appreciate the information.
  9. My 2006 Monaco Camelot still has its original curtains/blinds in the cabin, but they're definitely in need of replacement. I'm having a real hard time finding anyone that carries these ordinary blinds. Seems like the only thing available is the MCD products, which are great but a bit more then I want to spend. Everywhere I checked they no longer carry a regular draw blind for the cabin anymore. Any ideas?
  10. I replaced my headlight switch due the same issue. Call Rev RV and check with their parts department. Chances are they’ll have the switch. That’s what I did last year on my ‘06 Camelot. At that time the price was $88.72. The part #: 10105770 they have a photo of it on their website. There’s a Good chance it’s the same for your coach. But I was on their website a week ago and happened to see that exact same part is now $221.02, if they still have them in stock.
  11. I've been trying to find a replacement for the Aladdin also. Mine bit the dust when our Camelot was hit by lightning a few years back. I'd just like something simpler than having a laptop, or a iPad, etc. The nice thing about the Aladdin was, all you did just press one button and it powers up and does its thing. No log in, no wait for the device to boot up, and then load an app to get things going. For these reasons I'm using two separate ScanGaugeD's so I can have more than four small items to monitor. But have you seen the new ScanGauge III. https://www.scangauge.com/products/productsscangauge-iii/ Problem us, so far they only make it for OBDII, cars and trucks, etc. I contacted them and asked if they were considering this style for Diesel Trucks & Motorhomes. Their answer was not at the present time. I mentioned there's a lot of motorhome owners and I'm sure Truckers that would be very interested. The agent I spoke to said they would pass my suggestion to their marketing and engineering divisions. Maybe if more of us called them it might help. That is, If anyone else is interested. Just a thought.
  12. I’ll vouch for Talin RV and the Guardian Plate System. My ‘06 Camelot 40PDQ had a similar problem on the front street side back in 2021. Obviously I did all four slides, even though they all didn’t need it. It’s the way Monaco should have made them in the first place. They do great work and make it very easy to get the work done by having providing electric and water right at their shop.
  13. When the hydraulic pressure fails, the fan will automatically go to full speed, as a safety measure. The Sauer Danfoss electronic to hydraulic valve on my coach failed back in 2013 on my '06 Camelot. At the time I found a new Sauer Danfoss Controller but the price was somewhere near $2K or more, so I called Source Engineering in Oregon https://sourcerv.com. They had a replacement kit to convert back to the original, more reliable, wax valve. The kit included everything needed to replace the Sauer Danfoss valve. These wax valves have been used on diesel engines for years and proved to be very reliable. At the time the cost was $600 for the kit. You'll need to get a good welder to attach the valve mount to the coolant tube, but it's pretty easy to do. Bob
  14. I agree with Gary... https://www.intakehoses.com did a good job for mine a couple years ago. Bob
  15. My '06 Camelot doesn't charge the house batteries either from the engine alternator. A few months after I'd bought the coach I called Monaco Tech Support and asked them about it. The tech told me the alternator isn't big enough to charge the house and the chassis batteries. As such it's not wired to do that. I've heard some coaches do, so I wonder if those that do have larger alternator's, or did this tech just not no what he was talking about? Anyone else have any comments about this?
